Chapter 213: Back to School

Miao Jian blinked at Shao Xinghan. She didn't know why she didn't remember talking to Shen Bing.

She held his arm and replied innocently: "I didn't."

Shao Xinghan loosened his arms, started the car, said nothing, and stared ahead.

"Are you jealous?" Miao Jian suddenly asked a question.

He still had the look of "I'm not happy and you want to comfort me", which made Miao Jian dumbfounded.

"Okay, actually I didn't speak for Shen Bing. He protected me when I was kidnapped."

Shao Xinghan frowned and finally said: "Protect you?"

"Well, it's strange to say. I always feel as if he has known me before. Although he tied me up, he didn't hurt me, and he rescued me when he was in danger. I have never been able to figure it out." Miao Jian explained.

Upon hearing her explanation, Shao Xinghan felt more puzzled and confused, and he wanted to find out more about Shen Bing.

Miao Jian saw that he was still frowning and holding the steering wheel, looking very worried.

"Brother, what are you thinking about? Are you still angry?" She rubbed her arm on his arm and said coquettishly.

"Is it customary to stay at the Miao family?" He suddenly changed the subject.

What came was a deep, long sigh.

"What's wrong? Not happy? Miaomiao." He turned to look at her and touched her head with his right hand.

"It's nothing, it's just very awkward." Miao Jian answered honestly.

Shao Xinghan comforted you: "Be good, it's okay. From now on, you will be at Shao's house. My parents and I will love you."

"Um."

The two returned to Shao's house. Shao's mother was very happy when she heard that Miao Jian was back. She had the kitchen prepare delicious food very early, and she sat at the door and waited anxiously, but this did not affect her noble lady's temperament at all.

"Miao Miao." Shao's mother called out softly.

Miao Jian smiled back gently, ran forward and gave Shao's mother a hug.

"Mom." She shouted enthusiastically.

"Hey, don't leave from now on. It would be nice to just stay at home, right?" Shao's mother said, touching her hair.

"good."

Shao Xinghan just stood aside and quietly watched the two of them being affectionate.

Seeing that the two of them were almost finished talking, he stepped forward and hugged Miao Jian.

"Okay, go in, don't stand at the door."

The three of them were sitting in the living room. Miao Jian took a sip of tea and looked at Shao Xinghan.

"I have something to say, brother."

"What's wrong?" he asked, rubbing her hair.

"I want to go back to school."

Shao Xinghan, who was stroking her hair, never expected that she would suddenly make this request.

"Miaomiao, wouldn't it be nice to be with me?" he asked reluctantly, having finally come back from the Miao family and about to separate again.

"No, I also want to stay with you forever, but I still have to continue studying, and I still have to work in the future, after all."

"Miaomiao thinks your brother can't support you?" He interrupted her.

"No." Miao Jian firmly denied.

Seeing that something was wrong, Shao's mother didn't say anything and quietly left the living room.

Miao Jian knew that Shao Xinghan was a soft-hearted person, so she held his face and the two looked at each other.

"I know that my brother is reluctant to part with me. In fact, I am reluctant to separate from him, but I can't stay idle like this."

After she finished speaking, she leaned forward and kissed her lips, like a dragonfly touching water. When she was about to let go, the person opposite could no longer bear it any longer.

He grabbed her slender waist, held the back of her head with his other hand and kissed her straight. The kiss was very urgent and there was reluctance in it. He didn't let go until the moment he pried off the other person's tongue.

Only when the other person was out of breath did he let go of the cute little girl in his arms with satisfaction.

Miao Jian stared at Shao Xinghan with red and swollen lips.

"Okay, I lost to you, I promise you."

He touched her little face and looked at her with the corners of his mouth raised.

"Really?" she asked with wide eyes.

"Brother, when did I lie to you?" He replied, touching her hair.

"I love you so much." She threw herself into his arms and hugged him tightly.

Shao Yingzhuo came back by chance, and he felt a little embarrassed when he saw the two people entangled in the living room.

"Master, you are back." Uncle Chen, the butler, happened to come over and shouted.

Shao Yingzhuo put his hand to his lips: "Shh."

The butler, Uncle Chen, looked at Shao Yingzhuo in confusion.

Upon hearing the noise, Miao Jian immediately jumped out of Shao Xinghan's arms, stood up and fiddled with her hair and clothes.

Shao Yingzhuo felt even more embarrassed now: "Ah haha, Miao Miao is here."

Miao Jian ran over and shouted: "Dad."

Shao Yingzhuo put down his briefcase, touched her head, said yes, and hurried upstairs.

Shao Xinghan felt a little uncomfortable when he was suddenly disturbed. He ran away before he had even hugged him enough.

Miao Jian, who was confused, sat back down next to Shao Xinghan.

"Why is daddy in such a hurry?" she asked curiously.

"Because he did something wrong."

Shao Yao also came back shortly after. Seeing Miao Jian was there too, she didn't think twice and called Shao Xinghan and her brother also went upstairs.

The whole family sat together again, and Shao Xinghan occasionally brought dishes to Miao Jian so that she could eat more.

Shao Yingzhuo asked at this time: "Miao Miao, what are your plans for the future?"

Miao Jian didn't expect that her father would suddenly ask her, and she paused with the chopsticks in her hand.

"Go back to school tomorrow." She replied with a smile.

"It's so fast, don't you want to rest for a while?" It was Shao's mother who interrupted.

"It's okay, I can do it." He replied with the same smile.

When Shao's mother saw that Miao Jian had made up her mind, she looked at her son with eyes that seemed to say, "Don't you want to help me?"

The clever Shao Xinghan put a piece of meat in Miao Jian's bowl and said: "Don't look at me, I agree."

Shao's mother was a little surprised. Didn't her son always want to keep Miao Miao by his side?

"People can't run away, so what are you worried about?" He said coldly to his mother.

Shaoyao just watched all this quietly without saying a word, but glanced at Miao Jian from time to time.

Miao Jian later noticed her gaze, and for some reason she always felt that Shaoyao had something to say to her.

After dinner, Shao Xinghan took Miao Jian to his room.

"Really decided? Go back to school tomorrow?"

"Yes."

"You are really determined."

"Miaomiao."

"Um?"

"fine."

Miao Jian looked at Shao Xinghan who suddenly became melancholy, feeling really funny and pitiful at the same time.

"Brother." She suddenly called him.

"Um."

"I promise I will miss you every day. It's truer than gold." Miao Jian walked up to him and said firmly.

"Fool, I just can't let you go." Shao Xinghan pulled her over and asked her to sit on his lap.

He just held her quietly and buried her head in his arms.

"Miaomiao, take care of yourself."
