Chapter 299: The Origin of Painting

Liu Bai did not interrupt her train of thought. Seeing Jian Ruo's worried look, he felt it was hard to ask more questions, so he pretended not to hear anything.

Jian Ruo looked at the clueless contract and felt that there was no reason for what was written on it.

Jian Ruo suddenly felt upset, closed the contract, closed her eyes and pinched her temples.

Liu Bai looked at the watch on his wrist, then looked up at Jian Ruo. Seeing that she was almost recovered, he was ready to speak.

"It's almost time, I'll take you to the classroom." Liu Bai said.

Jian Ruo nodded and agreed, "Okay."

Liu Bai helped Jian Ruo pack her things, and they left the coffee shop together.

The two of them were speechless along the way, walking side by side. Liu Bai used his tall body to block the sunlight as the sun shone.

The bell rang as soon as they arrived at the door. Jian Ruo walked in and looked at the packed classroom. She couldn't help but be surprised. She didn't expect there were so many students in the professor's class.

Liu Bai placed the manuscript on the podium, nodded to Jian Ruo, and sat in the empty seat next to Fang Kai.

Everyone looked at Jian Ruo, which made Jian Ruo feel uncomfortable. She disliked being noticed the most in her life, and now it was thanks to Professor Wu that so many people were staring at her.

Jian Ruo walked to the podium with a faint smile on her face.

"Hello fellow juniors and sisters, I am a student of Professor Wu. Professor Wu asked me to give you some design experience. Please give me your advice this afternoon." Jian Ruo introduced herself.

As soon as she finished speaking, there was a sudden excitement downstairs. Many boys looked at her with stars in their eyes, and many girls were also envious of Jian Ruo's beautiful appearance.

"Little sister, what's your name?" the bold boy asked with a smile.

"Jian Ruo, simple Ru Ruo." Jian Ruo replied with a smile.

Looking at the gentle Jian Ruo, everyone became bolder.

"Then do you have a boyfriend?" they then asked.

"Yes." Jian Ruo replied firmly.

There was a mournful voice below, and there were all the beautiful ladies.

"Are there any questions? If not, we'll get back to the topic." Jian Ruo asked.

"Yes, how old are you, senior? Are you from our school?"

"I am definitely older than you. I have been working for two years. I am not from your school." Jian Ruo answered one by one.

"How can you be a student of a professor if you are not from our school?" someone questioned.

"Your professor should have told you about his affairs abroad." Jian Ruo said with a smile.

Now everyone seemed to have no problem. Suddenly a female classmate exclaimed, and everyone looked in the direction of the sound.

The female classmate covered her mouth and looked at Jian Ruo in surprise, looking like she couldn't believe it.

"You, you are a very famous designer abroad, and you never show your face." The female classmate asked loudly and excitedly.

Jian Ruo was stunned. She never thought she would be recognized in China, and she was stunned for a second.

"Yes, but I hope you will put down your mobile phones and don't take pictures of me or post them on the Internet. I'm afraid my team will sue you for infringement of portrait rights. Please understand." Jian Ruo said frankly.

"Idol, goddess, senior, you are my role model, and I want to be as good as you." The female classmate confessed excitedly.

Everyone put down their phones obediently and looked at Jian Ruo intently.

"Thank you, I believe you will do the same." Jian Ruo thanked her.

"Okay, let's get back to business. I brought some design drafts for you to look at. I heard the professor said that you have no inspiration and can't submit your work. So I can only tell you to go out and take a look more. It's also time to be quiet.

One person is enough."

Fang Kai touched Liu Bai lightly and asked in a low voice: "Isn't she the one you are looking for? Don't you often read her messages online? Now that everyone is in front of you, why don't you fight for her later?"

Liu Bai glanced at Fang Kai and replied: "No, I just appreciate her talent."

"Oh yo yo, you must be so stubborn. Look at your piercing eyes staring at people, for fear that no one will know." Fang Kai complained.

"Say one more thing." Liu Bai warned with his eyes.

Fang Kai pressed his lips together sensibly and sat quietly.

"I need a tall boy to help me post these manuscripts." Jian Ruo said.

The boys all became active and shouted for help.

"Sister, we." Fang Kai shouted loudly.

"Don't be anxious, everyone, let's do this, Liu Bai and Fang Kai, I only know them two in your class, so let them help me." Jian Ruo said from the nearest.

Fang Kai was very happy and excited when he heard this, and pushed Liu Bai to hurry over.

The two of them walked over with a smile and an indifferent look. Jian Ruo gave them the manuscripts evenly and asked them to stick them neatly on the blackboard with magnets.

Jian Ruo walked aside and left the podium to the two of them, and soon the two of them covered the entire blackboard.

"Thank you." Jian Ruo replied.

"You're welcome, senior sister, it's just a little effort." Fang Kai replied first."

"You're welcome." Liu Bai simply replied.

The two of them went down, and Jian Ruo asked everyone to look at the blackboard.

"This is a design draft I drew in school before. You can take a look at it to find inspiration. If you don't understand, you can ask me." Jian Ruo explained.

Everyone nodded and looked at the various design drafts on the blackboard. Although they were just pencil drawings without coloring, they all looked so perfect. The coloring made them look perfect and they would look good on anyone.

Liu Bai had already looked at these paintings in the cafe. One painting shocked him.

"Sister, how did you draw that painting in the first row and the third row?" Liu Bai asked.

Jian Ruo didn't expect that anyone would question this painting. It was her scar.

"Is there a problem?" Jian Ruo asked.

"Your painting looks beautiful and longing, but in my eyes it really feels like a sad and gloomy world. I don't know if I'm right?" Liu Bai said bluntly.

"Liu Bai, if you don't understand, don't talk nonsense. That painting clearly gives people a feeling of happiness, how could it be what you said?" The other students retorted dissatisfied.

"Does anyone else find this painting sad?" Jian Ruo asked.

Everyone was silent, expressing silence.

Jian Ruo understood, stood up, straightened her skirt, nodded and said, "Looking at the situation, only classmate Liu Bai feels sad, and the rest of the students think it should be happy."

Jian Ruo looked at Liu Bai as if giving him an answer: "It is indeed a sad painting."

As soon as the words fell, everyone couldn't believe the news. They never thought it would be this result.

"On the surface, this painting does have the feeling of happiness and joy that most people say, but on the inside it is really dark. This is a painting I made when I was about to collapse."
