Chapter Three Hundred and Forty: Return to Work

Shao Xinghan stood up and left the conference room. The moment Assistant Ma closed the door, the conference room was completely silent.

They groaned again and again, and all of them had bitter faces.

"No matter what, it's hard to write a self-criticism even though I'm so old."

"What a regret."

Assistant Ma thought that the word "good" was really satisfying. Just before leaving, he looked back at their frustrated expressions.

"Boss, that's great," Assistant Ma praised.

Shao Xinghan suddenly stopped and Assistant Ma, who was talking about it behind him, didn't notice and bumped into his back.

Assistant Ma's happiness suddenly disappeared, and now he looked at Shao Xinghan's back with fear.

"Boss, I'm not." Assistant Ma quickly explained.

"Go back and rest for a day." Shao Xinghan interrupted him.

"Boss, I'm sorry because I wasn't paying attention, please don't do this to me." Assistant Ma apologized.

"Are you suffering from paranoia or something like that? I'll let you go back and rest for a day and come back to work tomorrow." Shao Xinghan said with a frown.

"Boss, why?" Assistant Ma asked puzzled.

"Assistant Ma, do you want to guess what I am thinking? Just do whatever I say. Where did all this nonsense come from all of a sudden?" Shao Xinghan said with a hint of dissatisfaction.

"Okay, thank you, boss." Assistant Ma stayed where he was and looked at the leaving figure and shouted.

Shao Xinghan returned to the office alone and looked at the pile of documents on the table. He was gone for a day and a night. It was so scary. Shao Xinghan didn't feel tired before.

Now that I see so many documents, I suddenly feel a little tired.

"Dong dong."

"Come in." Shao Xinghan said while sitting on the chair.

"Boss, here are several documents that need your review and signature." The female secretary put down the documents and said.

"Um."

"Boss, there's one more thing. The public relations department called and said they wanted to talk to you about your private life and asked when you would be free," the female secretary said.

"Contact them so that they can come over now." Shao Xinghan replied.

"Okay, boss." The female secretary said simply.

After the female secretary left, Shao Xinghan began to look through the documents that had just been delivered. He looked at them one by one and found no mistakes.

Just after reading these pages, the door knocked again, and Shao Xinghan signaled to come in.

"Boss, the PR department is here," the female secretary said.

"Let them come in, and you can take these documents away." Shao Xinghan replied.

"The statements I signed on these documents can be reviewed and approved. Some documents that cannot be reviewed are not signed. Send them to the head of the department. If you have any objections, just ask him to come to me." Shao Xinghan explained.

The female secretary nodded, took the documents and went out, closing the door.

Shao Xinghan stopped what he was doing and looked up at the people in the public relations department.

"Sit down." Shao Xinghan waved his hands.

The two leaders in front sat down, and several others stood behind them.

"Senior Director Han, I heard that you are very interested in my private life?" Shao Xinghan asked gloomily.

"Mr. Shao, that's not the case. We don't dare to ask more about the boss's life. It's just that the media is tight now, and your matter has indeed had a certain impact on some cooperation." The senior manager did not dare to take charge.

"Don't dare, the boss is joking. It's exactly what the senior manager said." Manager Han said with a smile.

"Then what do you want to do?" Shao Xinghan asked expressionlessly.

"I wonder if the boss is willing to disclose his emotional status?" the senior executive said boldly.

"Supervisor, are you planning to give me no privacy at all?" Shao Xinghan asked.

"Boss, that's not what I meant. Don't get me wrong, I'm just proposing a solution." The senior manager quickly explained.

"Don't be nervous, just relax. I won't eat you. This way, you can express your opinions and ideas, and I will choose the most reasonable solution. You can do the same thing later." Shao Xinghan said.

The small employees behind them were all surprised to see the president. How could they have the courage to speak in front of the president? If they spoke well, they would make their supervisor look good, but if they spoke badly, they would go out without being scolded by the supervisor.

"Are the people behind you two supervisors so brave?" Shao Xinghan asked with a frown.

"No, no." The two supervisors said in unison.

"This way I won't embarrass you. You haven't always been competitors. Let's have a real competition this time."

"Regarding my matter, you each bring your team and give me a reasonable solution. Whichever team does well will be adopted by us, and there will definitely be a salary increase."

"Also, the losing group will have their supervisor decide to lay off half of their staff, or get out of here together. Let me tell you, my company never hires idle people."

"Your performance just now is enough to tell me how many idle people your department has." Shao Xinghan said coldly.

As soon as the decision was made, everyone's faces were filled with despair. They all lowered their heads and did not dare to look at Shao Xinghan's terrifying eyes at this moment.

"Everyone get out," Shao Xinghan said.

They nodded one after another and went out without any complaints.

As soon as they left, the two supervisors began to reprimand the people under them, calling them a bunch of useless trash, and asked you questions that no one dared to answer.

Just as one wave ended, another wave came again. The female secretary reported that the marketing manager wanted to see him.

"Mr. Shao." Manager Li shouted.

"Sit." Shao Xinghan's expression remained unchanged.

"This is our cooperation with Tang Group. We made sure it was correct before we came to the president to sign it. Why was it rejected?" Manager Li asked.

"Manager Li, do you know what Tang's lowest-cost product is?" Shao Xinghan asked.

"Soap." Manager Li said firmly.

"So determined? Do you know that Tang's soap is divided into several grades. The highest grade cannot be used by ordinary people and is worth tens of millions." Shao Xinghan said gloomily.

Manager Li's original self-confidence was instantly reduced by more than half, and his confidence in speaking became insufficient.

"But what we cooperate with them is not soap, but perfume." Manager Li said.

"You didn't write down the terms clearly. I saw that there are many kinds of perfume brands, and one perfume can be divided into three, six or nine grades. Do you think the company is too rich to squander it on you because you cooperate with so many kinds?

"Shao Xinghan questioned.

Manager Li was stunned for a moment. He only knew that Tang's perfumes were popular, but he didn't know how many types there were, nor how much they were worth.

"I said it's okay to put the product on the market in our company, but first we need to investigate whether it's worth it? What's its value? Are the ingredients safe? Are there A-grade products?"

"But I don't seem to know anything about them. I only know that they are hot products. How can a manager like you lead the people below?" Shao Xinghan said angrily.
