026 Power outage again

You can see it from your doorstep. The structure of the village here is that farmland surrounds the village. The village is built next to the river. These rivers are responsible for irrigating the farmland in the summer.

Ling Xiaowei loves her hometown. Only those who have lost her can understand this deep love for her hometown!

The red clouds on the horizon gradually faded and turned into a grayish dark red. The whole world became desolate and cold. Looking at the bare trees by the river, an occasional bird flew by.

The warmth on her body disappeared little by little, and Ling Xiaowei gradually felt that her shoes began to turn into holes in the ice, and her feet gradually became stiff.

It's dozens of miles from the village to the county seat! It takes an hour or two by car. Calculating the time, they should be back soon.

Ling Xiaowei went back to the hut and started to make dinner. She has been able to cook since she was four years old. There is no way that a poor child should be the master of the family early. If she doesn't cook, she will have nothing to eat and will starve!

Gray soot began to rise from the chimneys of every house in the village. Occasionally, the sound of dogs barking was heard. The sky was getting darker. Ling Xiaowei pulled the lighting cord, but the light did not respond.

There won't be another power outage!

In this day and age, power outages are common in rural areas. Power outages occur every three days, and sometimes last for half a month.

Ling Xiaowei found half a candle from the basket next to the stove and lit it.

The large candlelight was swayed by the cold wind blowing in from outside. The candlelight lengthened Ling Xiaowei's shadow, and the black shadow swayed along with it, like a sapling swaying in the wind.

When I get rich, I will demolish this hut and build a new one.

After a while, the entire hut was enveloped in white mist. Ling Xiaowei took off the steam, opened the lid of the pot, and stirred the multigrain porridge in the pot. After stirring, she returned to the stove, added a handful of grass, and sat in the pot.

In front of me, I watched the flames in the chamber jump, and the fire burned the hay and made a thorny sound, like a symphony.

Ling Xiaowei put her hand in front of the pot and warmed it with the warmth of the fire. There was a red and black frostbite on her hand. This was frostbite that had cracked and scabbed over. Although the scar looked scary, it didn't wait.

Spring is here and the weather is getting warmer. Once the scars on my hands are gone, they will become smooth again, but there will be red marks and the skin will look a little wrinkled where there are frostbites.

From now on, she must protect these hands. Hands are a woman's second face. Thinking of this passage in the book, Ling Xiaowei clicked her tongue with emotion.

Rural people don’t care about their hands! City people are still pretentious!

When she goes to the city in the future, she still needs to take good care of her hands.

After squeezing it for a while, the rice in the porridge will bloom, and you can already smell the aroma of rice, which means the porridge is ready.

The sound of wheels suddenly came from outside the house. Ling Xiaowei immediately stood up from the haystack and ran outside. It was already dark outside the house, but there was still a little blue. Zhang Cuifen got off the tricycle, opened the door first, and then left her asleep

Mingming took him out of the car and took him into the house.

After a while, he came out again and carried Ling Guoqiang back to the room.

Ling Xiaowei also followed into the room. Zhang Cuifen pulled the wire, and there was a click, and the light did not turn on.

"There's another power outage!" Zhang Cuifen muttered.

"There are candles in that drawer!" Ling Guoqiang pointed to the desk by the window and said.

Zhang Cuifen took out the candle, struck the match, lit the candle, and then dropped a little candle oil on the table to fix the candle.

"Dad, I've prepared dinner!" Ling Xiaowei looked at Ling Guoqiang who was lying on the bed. Her father seemed to be quite happy today, and his face was full of energy, not as gloomy and decadent as she remembered.

I must be feeling happy because I went out today!

From now on, she should take her father out more often to bask in the sun and go for a walk. The more physically and mentally ill a person is, the more he should go out for a walk.
