Chapter 87: One Corpse, One Spirit, One Person

Since Pangu created the sky and the earth, divided day and night, and determined yin and yang. The clear and light ones ascended to become the sky, while the turbid and heavy ones sank to become the earth. From then on, yin and yang were clearly defined, black and white were established, and the world began to form.

A living person has a strong Yang Qi, while a ghost has a strong Yin Qi. Both of them die once in a lifetime, and their differences are very clear. When a living person is eroded by Yin Qi, the Yang Qi will dissipate, which can cause him or her to suffer from diseases at worst, or may lead to death in severe cases.

But by the same token, evil ghosts cannot be illuminated by Yang Qi. Once they appear in the daytime, they will disappear without a trace like boiling hot snow.

Especially those evil ghosts who have caused countless harm to people. The more resentful they are, the faster they will die.

Even though the evil clouds are covering the sun now, evil ghosts can take advantage of the opportunity to be active during the day. But this is limited to special circumstances. Do you want to let them leave the Yanjing area? Can you try to let them harm people during the day?

Why don't you let them wander around the busy city? If they can come back alive, I, Zhang Wuxin, will not eat this bowl of rice from now on!

I seem to have never heard of a ghost that can harm people during the day and can wander around in the bustling city. There is no relevant record in the ghost chapter of Notes on Suppressing Evil.

Damn it, where does this bastard come from with so many weird questions? Why does he always make such a fuss?

As night falls, the heat of the day gradually dissipates. But I loosen the first button on my collar. What on earth is this evil ghost that can wander around the bustling city with so much resentment and countless murders?

?

Suddenly, an idea flashed in my mind, and the anxiety in my heart was immediately swept away.

The black guy seemed to notice the change in my demeanor, raised his eyebrows slightly and said, "Have you thought of it?"

I said to him: "In the past, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva was a life-saving mother. He fell into hell several times and saved the souls of the dead. Later, he even swore an oath: If hell is not empty, I swear that I will not become a Buddha. I will use my own power to save the souls of hell.

Countless evil spirits in it.”

The black guy sneered: "Are you talking about Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva? If so, then the answer is wrong."

I smiled and said, "Don't worry, let's take our time."

Here we do not talk about Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva’s salvation of evil spirits in hell, but about Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva’s biological mother. Rumor has it that Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva has escaped into hell several times and rescued his biological mother, so he is also known as “great filial piety”

"The virtues of "Great Wish" spread throughout the world.

But who knows the story of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva’s biological mother?

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva’s biological mother’s name has not been verified. It is said that when she gave birth to Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, it was already dark, and then a lame monk came outside.

The monk didn't speak or ask for alms after he came in. He just stretched his neck and looked in through the door.

If this kind of behavior were practiced in modern times, they would probably get a beating. But they had just added a child to their family, so they would not cause trouble on such a festive day.

Some people even came out with vegetarian food and wanted to give the monk something to eat.

As a result, the monk shook his head and said, "Although I am a monk, I never eat vegetarian food."

The owner of the house was surprised and said: "Since you are a monk, why don't you eat vegetarian food? This is strange. But the baby was just born today, so he is not bad at eating. What do you want to eat today?"

The monk said: "Eat meat!"

The owner of the house immediately laughed, it turned out to be a flower monk. But it doesn’t matter, monks are human beings too, and it’s normal to be a little greedy sometimes.

I was about to get some meat for the monk to try, but suddenly the monk said: "The meat I eat is a bit special. I heard that your family has just added a child. Why don't you give it to me as a toothpaste sacrifice? I guarantee that you will have good weather and good harvests every year."

It would have been better not to say this, but as soon as he said it, those who came to congratulate him were all furious.

A foreign monk keeps saying that he wants to eat other people's children? Isn't this looking for death?

The owner of the house was furious, rushed into the house, and came out in an instant with a kitchen knife, saying, "You are such a thief monk! If you don't recite sutras and eat fast properly, you actually miss my son!"

In fact, this owner did not think about hacked the monk, just begged him to take a meal, and then drove him away. The monk saw the owner of his family cut it, but handed his head over.

With a sound, he raised the knife and dropped it, and the monk's head fell off.

At this moment, the owner immediately became stupid. He stood there with a kitchen knife and did not dare to move. The people around him also shouted and took a step back.

The host stammered: "I...I didn't...I didn't want to kill him...it was him...himself..."

While he was talking incoherently, the monk's head that fell on the ground suddenly turned around. The head grinned at the owner and said: "That's good, that's good. One life for another, very fair, Tongsou."

No bully! I will definitely eat your son!"

After finishing speaking, the eyes on the person's head suddenly closed, and there was no more sound.

The villagers looked at each other in shock, but did not say anything. Anyway, the monk was from outside, so they could just bury it. You can't let the owner of the family pay for your life because of a outside monk, right?

But then, an old man with a white beard stood up and talked. He said, something is wrong now, you are in big trouble. This monk is not a human, but a ghost who specializes in eating people. You kill him.

It's already entangled with cause and effect, one life is worth another, sooner or later he will eat your son!

The owner of the house was so frightened that he hurriedly asked the old man with the white beard what was going on.

The old man with a white beard said that this monk's name is Vanadi, and he is a vicious spirit in the underworld who specializes in eating newborn babies. This guy has a special way of eating babies, that is, he only eats the spiritual ones. In order to avoid karma, he

It will transform into various images and let the target kill itself first.

According to the principle of fairness, if he dies, he will naturally take another life. Only in this way can he not have to bear the retribution of karma and can enjoy the vitality and blood of a living person.

If you don't provoke him and chop him to death, he won't dare to eat you. But if you chop him, it means you owe him a life. Sooner or later, he will come to eat your children.

The owner of the house was so frightened that he hurriedly asked the old man with the white beard how to solve the problem. The old man with the white beard said, now that the situation has come to an end, you can only exchange your own life for your son's life. Are you willing or not?

To say that maternal love is great, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva's mother, the owner of this family, gritted her teeth and asked the old man with a white beard to use the method of passing through the underworld to let herself go to the underworld in order to save her child.

In this case, she exchanged her own life for the life of her son.

Later, when Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva grew up, he entered the underworld several times, looking for the Vatican flute, hoping to save his mother’s soul. It was at this time that Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva saw the evil spirits everywhere and the smoky atmosphere in the underworld, and vowed to

To save the countless evil spirits here and prevent the tragedy of my mother from happening again.

At that time, the Vanadis were no longer a match for Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, but this guy was also very scheming. He said to Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, if you want to save the countless evil spirits here, you must not kill me. If you kill me

What am I talking about about saving the souls of the dead?

In fact, what Vanadi said makes sense. Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva vowed to liberate the evil spirits in the underworld, so how could he continue to do evil things? Otherwise, how could his vow be fulfilled? When will the underworld be at peace?

But the Vana Flute guy is not a good thing, so Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva said, I won’t kill you, but you will never enter the underworld. You are the body of a fierce ghost, but from now on you are not allowed to touch the slightest bit of yin energy, and you are not allowed to enter the underworld.

If you are a little bit evil, if you dare to do harm to others, you will definitely suffer all day long and your soul will be gone!

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva’s golden words really mean nothing. A fierce ghost who is deprived of Yin Qi is equivalent to a person who likes delicious food and can never eat, and a person who likes to listen to music can never hear any sound.

And once you see food and hear music, the food will turn into poison that penetrates the intestines, and the music will turn into a flesh-cutting knife.

The Vana Flute is a ferocious ghost in the underworld. It was deprived of its Yin Qi by Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, so it can only wander in the Yang world. However, although this thing has lost its Yin Qi, it still has evil intentions and deceives others all day long.

He will kill him. If anyone can't bear the provocation, once he hits him or kills him, he will receive his fair and just revenge.

And because the Vatican Flute was expelled from the underworld by Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, as long as Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva is still in the underworld, the ghost of the Vatican Flute will never be able to return to the underworld, and can only be a miserable person in the upper world.

What a miserable ghost.

The more people he kills, the more times he is killed. In short, it is a cycle of cause and effect, and retribution is unpleasant.

The story about Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva and the Vanadis is actually only recorded in Buddhist scriptures. I don’t know whether it is true or false. But there are indeed records among the people about ghosts like the Vanadis. Rumor has it that they only play during the day.

He appears in various vicious forms, making people want to kill him.

But once you take action, you will really be tainted by the cause and effect and provoke evil spirits. Even if you can save your life afterwards, you will definitely pay a huge price.

There is no other way, who asked you to kill someone in the first place?

But he said that I was very eloquent and told the story about the Vanadis and Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva clearly in one breath. Wen Taizi and Shang Tian both laughed and praised me.

The black guy's face was angry and furious when he heard this. I answered two questions in a row. Even though this guy was calm, he couldn't hold his breath anymore.

He sneered: "I didn't expect you to have read Buddhist scriptures and unofficial histories!"

I was secretly lucky. If Zhang Wuren and He Zhonghua were not very knowledgeable and fed me some folk anecdotes all day long, how would I have known the story between Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva and the Vana Flute?

However, even if I am lucky enough to win, it is still my own fault. I laughed and said, "Don't be angry, just wash your neck and wait for me to chop it off. Our Yin Yang store understands

There are countless times more things than you know!"

For the first time, a look of anger flashed across the black guy's face, but he soon regained his composure. He snorted and said, "Since you are so confident, I have to ask you one last question."

I listened carefully. The first question this guy asked was about corpses, and the second question was about ghosts.

I don’t know what the third question is. Thinking that his first two questions are so tricky, my brain is already spinning rapidly. If I can’t answer the third question, even if I can’t answer the first two questions well.

Good things are in vain.
