Chapter 6 The Slaves in the Basement

"Tell me, where is the old place you just mentioned?"

Ignoring Occam's trembling, Karl asked expressionlessly.

Having said that, after spending a long time with Cyril, I seem to have fallen in love with this feeling of pretending to be cool. In the past, I would not have forced others to ask questions like this.

"Please, please let me go!"

Seeing Karl's indifferent look, Occam was decisive. He knelt on the ground with a plop and immediately began to beg for mercy. He was completely without the vicious look when he took out the knife just now.

"I'm asking where the old place you just mentioned is, don't talk about useless things."

As he spoke, Karl held the Wings of Rocks in front of Occam's eyes, followed his previous actions and shook it, "See clearly, this knife of mine is a poison blade covered with poison!"

"This thing only needs to make a small opening for you, and you can go and chat with God."

Occam stared blankly at the Wings of Rocks in Karl's hand, as if he was confirming whether this thing was really poisonous.

After he saw the leaf-green blade and the black face-like pattern on the blade clearly, he continued to whisper hesitantly:

"You really can't let me go..."

Well, as expected, you still have to be more ruthless, otherwise this guy will not be honest.

Having made up his mind, Karl kicked him to the ground and said viciously:

“Don’t answer questions with questions!”

"I told you to do it, do you want to survive?"

Occam, who fell to the ground, gave up his luck and hurriedly said:

"Yes, yes. I know!"

"I'll take you there right away."

Having just seen Carl's ghostly speed for ordinary people, Occam did not dare to run away now. Facing the suddenly angry Carl, he could only get up from the ground tremblingly and walk around.

Start leading the way.

The journey this time was much faster, but five or six minutes after leaving that place, under the leadership of Occam, they arrived in front of an inconspicuous-looking house.

Seeing Occam stop, Karl walked over and asked softly in his ear:

"Are you sure this is the place and there won't be any problems?"

Sure enough, Occam heard Karl's voice in his ear, and he was alerted, and then he said: "Maybe... maybe there are a few people guarding it inside."

It feels great to play tricks on others, and to deal with such a villain, there is no psychological burden at all. Looking at Ockham who confessed honestly, Carl even felt a little satisfied.

Without saying anything else, he casually cut the door lock with a knife, and Karl walked into the house with Cyril.

As soon as Karl entered, he saw two people sitting at the table playing poker. When they saw Karl and the others barging in, the two men were stunned and immediately stood up from their chairs. At the same time, they took out the pistols from their waists. They wanted to take it out right away.

Gun shot at Carl.

Looking at the movements of the two people, Karl did not intend to try to challenge the speed of the bullet.

So he grabbed Occam and threw him over, knocking the three people to the ground.

Taking advantage of the gap when they fell to the ground, Karl knocked them all unconscious on the ground, leaving only Occam who was leading the way.

Looking around, there seems to be no place to hide people in this small room. The area that was seen before entering was only this large, so there is only one answer.

Looking down at Ockham who was trying to get up, Karl said, "Is the person hiding in the basement?"

"You are so discerning!"

Giving a thumbs up to show off Karl's wisdom, Occam ran to a corner of the room without even standing up, and lifted up a dirty blanket on the floor.

Sure enough, there is a secret door hidden underneath!

After forcefully opening the trap door, Occam supported the wall with a smile and stood up bit by bit.

"Look, this is it, this is it!"

"You go down first."

Karl did not walk down directly and rashly, but curled his lips and motioned for Occam to pass first.

"Okay, okay, me first, me first."

Seeing Karl's actions, this guy immediately realized that Karl was suspecting whether there was a trap, and immediately walked in through the trap door first.

Seeing that Occam had descended inside safely, Carl followed him with confidence.

"Celile, just watch here. If you have any questions, call me."

"OK."

Leaving Cyril alone above, Karl went down to the basement.

As soon as he saw the surrounding scene clearly, Carl's face turned dark immediately, and the good mood he had just gained from teasing Occam disappeared instantly.

Because in this small basement, six women who all looked above the passing line were imprisoned in iron cages.

There was even a little girl who looked about 10 years old in the far corner, curled up and shivering.

Thinking about Occam's previous reaction and the land where he was, Karl immediately realized that this was probably a slave trade that had been banned by the international community.

I didn’t expect that I would actually knock down something like this!

"How long have you been doing this?"

With a gloomy face, Carl asked Occam indifferently.

"Sir...Sir, I just joined them last week, please let me go!"

Seeing Karl's face, Occam also felt his anger, and immediately knelt on the ground again and continued to beg for mercy.

"He lied!"

Just as he begged for mercy, the other women huddled in the iron cage did not speak, but the little girl suddenly shouted loudly.

"I was obviously imprisoned here 10 days ago. He also said that there were a few people who didn't pay enough and he wanted to find a good buyer for me!"

"Shut up!"

Losing control of his emotions, he shouted at the little girl in the cage. Occam turned his head and looked at Karl, and continued to say pleadingly:

"Sir, look at her, she is just a child, just a child!"

"Such a young guy loves to lie and deceive people. All the nonsense he tells is nonsense!"

"You must believe me, you must believe me at all, how could I deceive you!"

Realizing that his situation was not good, Occam argued vigorously. He also knew that his life now depended on Karl's decision, so he tried his best to veto the little girl's words in an attempt to persuade Karl.

The little girl was yelled at and no longer dared to speak.

Looking at the person in front of him, Karl walked over silently without saying a word, grabbed his neck, and dragged him out of the basement.

"Have mercy, have mercy, my lord!"

Occam kept struggling in Karl's hands, but unfortunately it had no effect at all, and he was still dragged outside.

Back in the house, Karl looked at Ceryl who looked curious, and then said with an unhappy look:

"This guy belongs to you, see what's in his memory."

"The sun is really coming out in the west."

Feeling emotional about Carl's decision, Cyril walked over and turned into black mud decisively, swallowing up the unmovable Occam in Carl's hand bit by bit.
