043 Fleeing in a panic

Although the map was quite complicated, Yan Luyi still had an impression of how to walk in this small area after going out. She walked very fast, almost running, because she had a very bad feeling.

From the time Yan Yue sent a message on his reader asking her to leave to the time she actually went out, he said so many words that I don't know how much time passed.

Could it be that Li Jing and others discovered something unusual in their room and led a bunch of people over to arrest it?

Her hunch was quickly verified.

Several series of urgent footsteps came from the rear right.

Yan Luyi quickly looked around and took in the surrounding environment.

She memorized the map earlier and knew that the house where she and Yan Yue were located had several doors to the right. Turning the corner, there was the staircase leading down from the upper floor. The sound from this series of footsteps was

Judging from the direction, a group of people should be coming down the stairs.

And it came down very quickly.

That group of people came from the right. And according to the priority route Yan Yue drew for her, her escape route should also turn to the right.

But there was no room for choice at this moment. Seeing that those people would spot her soon, she moved her legs and ran to the left. She thought that as a building, although the structure here was complicated, it was not a maze.

She is going to the left now, but wouldn't it be nice to turn right and come back later?

Although it's not on Yan Yue's planned route, it's still a big deal.

He ran all the way through this corridor. In front of him was a corner, a corner to the right. Yan Luyi knew that after passing this corner, he only needed to walk a few more steps, go down the stairs, and turn left twice.

I was able to return to the preferred escape route designed by Yan Yue, and I might be able to bypass the group of people who were chasing me. I was so happy that I didn't want to turn around and take a look, but I immediately felt stupid.

There is a door over there, a closed door.

There was no lock on this door, but the two door panels were tightly joined together. Yan Lu leaned over and tried to pry it open twice, but saw a metal box embedded in the wall next to it, with blue light shining to the ground.

Flash, it should be an electronic recognition system used to control the switch of this door.

Yan Luyi pressed the communicator in his ear and tried to shout: "Yan Yue?"

No reply.

Yan Luyi couldn't help but feel anxious. He was worried that he would be caught right now. Should he just go back and surrender, pretending to be honest, so that he could be lenient if he confessed and be lenient if he resisted? Or should he still want to?

How to beat one down, point a dagger at him and take him hostage?

She pondered back and forth between these two options, and finally decided to try to catch the hostages first, and if that failed, surrender temporarily.

Yan Luyi tiptoed to the corner, her vest pressed against the wall, and she used the reflection of the dagger to glance over there. She wanted to find a soft persimmon that seemed easy to pinch—it would be best if it was Li Jing.

.

She thought that first of all, Li Jing was a woman, so her physical strength must be relatively weak and easy to fight; secondly, this Li Jing seemed to be awesome and coaxing. According to Yan Yue's description of her, she should have some status here. So as long as she can be controlled

, it will be much easier to handle next.

But there was no Li Jing there.

They were four men, four very strong men. Yan Luyi felt a chill in his heart at the sight of them, not to mention that these men were all holding guns.

The four people had just come out of the stairway. They all twisted their necks and looked towards the stairs, but no one noticed her. Yan Luyi quickly retracted his head.

She put the dagger away and pulled up her clothes to hide it even more secretly.

There's no point in hitting her hard. Why not pretend to be a weak girl first and make these people careless? Maybe you can still find a chance and even get a gun?

When three heavily armed men appeared from around the corner, Yan Luyi raised his hands high and shouted: "I surrender, I surrender! I was wrong, I was wrong!"

She was trying hard to put on a well-behaved expression on her face, but she didn't expect these three people to treat her like a ball of air, ignore her, and rush straight to the door as if she was flying away.

These three people looked very panicked, and their running postures were also strange, as if they had lost their balance. It was hard to imagine what could be that could frighten these four strong men holding firearms to the point of fleeing in panic.

?

Yan Luyi looked on in confusion.

The man who ran to the front was naturally the first to touch the metal box with blue light on the side of the door. He put his finger in and pressed it for a moment, and the door opened.

The three of them didn't even bother to say a word, and rushed into the door in three steps at a time.

Still ignored her.

Yan Luyi hesitated for a moment whether to follow her or not. The three of them all had guns in their hands. It seemed that they were too anxious to care about her at the moment, but what about after a while? If they felt safe, would they do something like this?

Something bad to happen to her?

She just hesitated, and saw the door closing automatically as the last person stepped through.

Yan Luyi was dumbfounded. She stood there and thought for a while, and decided that she should go back the same way and continue taking the priority route marked by Yan Yue.

But just as she was about to take a step, she heard footsteps again in the corridor over there.

She saw four people just now. Three have passed by now. So it's not surprising that there is another one coming. Yan Luyi didn't care at first, but when she heard the footsteps twice more, she felt something was wrong.

.

The footsteps belong to one person, that's for sure. But its rhythm is irregular, it sounds like one light foot and one heavy foot, and it's very slow.

Is it someone who gets hurt and falls behind emotionally?

Yan Luyi couldn't help feeling happy. She was injured and alone, so she might be able to knock this guy down with three punches and two kicks. Wouldn't it be nice to grab a gun when the time comes?

She crept close to the wall. She had already taken out the knife hidden in her waist and held it in her hand, ready to jump out and make a sudden attack on the man as soon as he reached the corner.

The man's footsteps were getting closer and closer. But just when he was about to walk around the corner, the footsteps suddenly stopped, and the man actually stopped moving.

Yan Luyi was so frightened that he held his breath for a moment, not even daring to breathe out.

There was no sound on her side, and no sound on the other side of the wall.

She could only wait.

Yan Luyi could gradually hear the man's breathing. His voice was thick and heavy, mixed with muffled noises coming from his throat.

Every nerve in Yan Luyi's body became tense.

That person couldn't bear it anymore.

Is he coming?

There was another long moment of silence.

There was a strange burning smell in the air.

It was completely silent.
