What is the difference between annihilation and destruction? Is there really no difference?
How to explain it? The so-called inner can't be true. If you feel that the world is impermanent, human relationships are indifferent, and you have red and pink skulls, and you are extremely disgusted and want to practice Buddhism, are you leaning toward emptiness or toward existence? If you lean toward emptiness, everything will be empty, and everything will be destroyed.
Empty, even if the hand is full of blood, it is also empty; if it is biased toward existence, there will be sentient beings, and the wonderful existence of a vacuum will be empty.
Note that there is nothing to do with compassion here. Buddhism has a theory of cause and effect and reincarnation. Killing a person means he has this cause and effect and this reincarnation. This is salvation and annihilation.
Let's use an analogy. Let's take the love between a man and a woman. In the past, the love between a man and a concubine was tender and lingering, but once they broke up, a certain man or a certain woman learned from the pain, thought carefully, and gained a deeper understanding of love.
The so-called fate means that you have to be predestined and have a share, and you can't force it; when you meet love again, you feel that love is just that.
What's going on, lukewarm or not, or do you think there is true love and true feelings in the world after all? I think, whether it is self-destruction or self-protection, the so-called maturity and a calm heart are mostly like this.
.This is to lean towards emptiness; the so-called love is just that, this is to lean towards emptiness.
This is just not a very appropriate metaphor.
When Wuxu told Zhang Cuilu and others, he first said, "Nirvana is not destruction" and "We must eventually practice the Mahayana" because he felt that it was reasonable to have friendship with all living beings, but then he said, "Ultimately there is no difference", which actually meant
There can be no partiality between emptiness and existence.
This is not just a question of love or non-love involved in the above metaphor, but a question of being immovable and unbiased if you want to practice Buddhism. Whether it is empty or existing, whether you love or hate, you should not be greedy.
, should not be attached to, they are all just dreams and bubbles, like dew and lightning, we should observe them like this.
In a word, it actually fundamentally underestimates or denies emptiness and existence, love and hate. Everything is like a dream, dew, or lightning. You can remain motionless and just watch from the wall.
From this point of view, what is the difference between the so-called annihilation and the so-called destruction? It is difficult to distinguish!
Therefore, Wuxu sighed, there is no difference in the end.
When Wuxu said these words to Zhang Cuilu and others, the senior monk from the shrine flew in with his left and right people and the "resurrected" warrior. They noticed the ghost here outside the cave.
Xiu was wiped out, and when they reached the cave, they saw Wuxu and others dressed in Chinese-earth clothes. Without saying a word, they launched their killing moves one after another.
"What an eminent monk from the shrine, it turned out that he was colluding with the ghost cultivator of the White Bone Cave!" Wuxu looked at the "resurrected" warrior who came over and was extremely stiff, sneered, and took action himself.
The old monk in the middle, accompanied by four attendants on the left and right, all recited mantras and made Buddha seals with their hands. The Buddha's light shone everywhere. There was a faint chanting of Sanskrit in the sky, and there were faint Bodhisattva Vajra emerging, with three heads and six arms, each holding a magic weapon.
solemn.
Wuxu was sitting on the big black stone, his face was expressionless, and when he separated his hands, a stream of air of death flew out, which was gray and deathly.
"The aura of the netherworld!" The old monk was shocked, with an expression of incredible fear on his face. But he could not escape this disaster. Like the attendants on the left and right, he disappeared into nothing in the aura of Wuxu and Nirvana. The "resurrection" came over and was extremely stiff.
The samurai is no exception.
In the Bone Cave, the aura of death was even heavier. That was because these people had passed away.
Zhang Cuilu and others looked frightened for the first time. They flew to a distance, held out their nine-leaf green lotus lanterns, and looked at Wuxu uneasily.
After awakening to the void, his body is shriveled and his eyes are empty. If it weren't for the faint Buddha light emitted from his body, he would be a zombie.
Wu Xu looked at the eight of them indifferently, but he was hesitating in his heart how to explain it. What about the truth that annihilation is destruction? What about the truth that transcends all these?
Zhang Cuilu and others looked at Wuxu in confusion. They felt that Wuxu at this moment, perhaps because he had absorbed the aura of death, was possessed by a demon, could not feel a trace of warmth, was extremely strange, and was extremely dangerous.
Wuxu's aura kept changing, and his expression was always indifferent. He could not explain to Zhang Cuilu and others that just now when he was meditating, the so-called eminent monks from the shrine came with puppet warriors. Wuxu felt the despicable way they manipulated the dead, and wanted to kill him.
heart, silence
The Qi of Destruction destroyed these five people. But because of this, his originally unmoving heart was slightly and briefly drawn to the side of emptiness. Nirvana is destruction, and he couldn't help but do it.
People are annihilated, destroyed, and do not enter reincarnation after death.
Let’s go back to the metaphor at the beginning of this chapter. When you are indifferent and don’t care about emptiness and existence, love and affection, can you, can you, express your love to those who are sentient beings, to those who believe in love and passion?
, say it’s empty, say it’s nothing? That’s just the same thing?
They are sworn to each other in front of flowers and under the moon, but you say that they are hypocritical and make fun of themselves; they wholeheartedly worship the Buddha and remember to be kind to others and treat sentient beings, but you say that all living beings are not sentient beings and should be destroyed. They are born with the mind of vacuum and wonderful existence.
But you talk about emptiness and suffering.
Even when he killed the demon monk in the shrine and the warrior who "resurrected from the dead", Wuxu was biased and preferred annihilation instead of taking pains to enlighten him. Does this go against the compassionate heart of Buddhism?
It is a fundamental matter, and self-consciousness cannot be based on one's own experiences and insights to influence and mislead Zhang Cuilu and others about their intentions and the path they will take in the future.
Therefore, Wuxu reluctantly restrained the breath of death he had just released, and refused to explain clearly to Zhang Cuilu and others who were already suspicious at this moment.
"You can't do it outside your heart!" Wuxu said slowly. He had no choice but to say this. After a pause, he said again, "Everyone has his own predestined method. You don't need to learn from me. You should follow the scriptures and not others."
Zhang Cuilu and others put their palms together and chanted, and then sat around Wuxu again.
Wuxu smiled bitterly in his heart, knowing that everyone was already doubtful. Don't tell everyone, even he was also very doubtful. When he was in trouble, he always preferred killing, emptiness, and annihilation. If it continues like this, it would be
Good or bad? Although there are Bodhisattvas with low eyebrows and Vajras with angry eyes, people in Buddhism always want to be compassionate and lead others to do good.
For a moment, there was silence in the Bone Cave. However, the remaining lifeless energy moved slowly in a trajectory that was difficult to detect with the naked eye. It seemed to be everywhere, giving people an extremely depressing and dull feeling.
Suddenly, it was like a gust of wind blowing in. The dead air in the cave swayed slightly, like a slight ripple in stagnant water. Then, the figures of two women appeared faintly. They poked out, but they couldn't see clearly.
The nine-leaf green lotus lantern, with its brilliant brilliance, automatically warned. Zhang Cuilu and others stood up one after another, holding Buddha seals in their hands, and were attentive.
Although the figures of the two women cannot be seen clearly, there are countless images flying in the air, some are calm and tranquil, some are posing, some are smiling like flowers, some are self-pitying...seemingly real and illusionary, as if
The grace of a lifetime is flying in this moment, and the style of a lifetime is blooming in this moment.
Wuxu took action, still with the spirit of annihilation. He clasped his palms together and recited the scripture in a low voice.
In the bone cave, the endless graceful figures disappeared. Two faces as cold as snow slowly appeared. Their bodies also gradually condensed, and they were wrapped in soft and fine silk robes with a light white luster.
His eyes are like an unearthed sharp sword, like the peach blossoms in March, which can kill people invisible.
"Demon sect witch!" Lu Pingshan and Zhao Qiuhe couldn't help but exclaimed. The expressions of the others also changed drastically, and they all flew to Wuxu's head, flying around the nine-leaf green lotus lantern, ready to take action at any moment.
Zhao Tong turned a blind eye and only looked at Wuxu who was sitting silently.
Wuxu felt Zhao Tong's gaze and slowly raised his head.
The woman beside Zhao Tong, namely Li Mingshan, as well as Zhang Cuilu and others on Wuxu's side, did not expect that Zhao Tong and Wuxu were old acquaintances. They slightly restrained their momentum and silently watched the situation in the cave.
There was an extraordinary silence in the cave, as if everything had calmed down, or was extinguished. There were no hostile atmospheres, no familiar polite greetings, and no awkward avoidance. They had no words, and no release of their own breath.
.The objects that seem to collide together
The light is actually like passers-by passing each other, walking straight towards each other, inexplicably staggering as they walk, and then disappearing, just like that. Their respective backs, stretched out long, are cast on the stone wall in the cave,
Like the peaks in light-ink landscape paintings, they are blurry, solitary, and pathless.
"How can you cultivate Buddhism if you kill too many people?" Zhao Tong finally spoke and said softly. She moved her eyes away from Wuxu and turned to Zhang Cuilu and others. She only looked at the nine-leaf green lotus lantern carefully and found out something.
He thought thoughtfully and said, "The Buddha lamp will appear after waiting for the demon peak."
In the Bone Cave, the aura of death surged, and six white skulls emerged and flew to Zhao Tong's feet.
The faces of Zhang Cuilu and others changed again. These six white skulls were exactly the same, but Zhang Cuilu and others intuitively felt that they were the skeletons of the five shrine monks and the dead warrior who had just been killed by Wuxu with the energy of annihilation.
Wow, I didn’t expect the magic technique to be so powerful!
What's even more powerful is his sentence just now: "How can you practice Buddhism if you kill too many people?" Everyone who had been doubtful for a long time looked at Wuxu in unison.
After listening to Zhao Tong's words, Wuxu's eyes flashed with light, and his gaze was like golden lightning, directed at Zhao Tong, and he chanted loudly, "In Buddhism, there are Bodhisattvas with low eyebrows and Vajra with angry eyes."
Zhao Tong did not dodge or hide, her body became lighter, her shadow became more shadowy, her face changed and her clothes changed in the dark place. She was dressed in a military uniform, stained with bloodstains; her face was sallow, with a faint smile. She looked heroic,
The murderous intention is soaring into the sky, and the death energy around him is like clouds.
All the past events came to mind. Wuxu suddenly had a sad look on his face, clasped his hands and said to Zhao Tong, "General Zhao, Wuxu realizes that he is still cultivating Buddhism and has not become a demon." After a pause, he said again, "Chuzhou
It has been many years since we saw each other again today, but I didn't expect General Zhao to become more and more obsessed with him."
Wuxu's words were plain, but in fact they were very serious. They had been separated from Chuzhou for more than a year. During that time, there were flashes of swords and shadows, evil spirits, a startling glance, and involuntarily. Looking back carefully, the two of them had met overtly and covertly.
How many times. But Wuxu said a few words at this moment, but they were all written off.
As a time traveler, Wuxu could accept the dialogue between Buddha and the devil, but he could not accept that Zhao Tong thought that he was possessed by the devil. He seemed to hint at himself in a pretentious manner, and even imagined the scene of fighting side by side in the past to show his understanding and acceptance.
Zhao Tong, after listening to Wuxu's heartless words with deep intentions, his appearance changed again. Time seemed to go backwards, the sallow cheeks became crystal clear and round again, and the blood-stained military uniform was replaced by a thin brocade robe, like
The clouds were like mist. She was like a cardamom girl who was fifteen or sixteen years old and had just entered the world. She stood there spotlessly, looking at Wuxu curiously, as if she had met a strange uncle.
Wuxu's eyes could no longer reach Zhao Tong's body, and everything in front of him seemed to have become illusory. "All conditioned dharmas are like bubbles in a dream, like dew or lightning, and should be viewed as such." Wuxu then clasped his hands, lowered his head, and chanted softly.
In the midst of Wuxu's gentle chanting, Zhao Tong took Li Mingshan and flew away.
In the Bone Cave, it was quiet and quiet. Zhang Cuilu and the others naturally did not speak rashly; even Wuxu looked at the entrance of the cave and was speechless. After a long time, Wuxu suddenly sighed, "Wealth is not despair, desolation is not
Destruction. After the accident, still hold on to the original intention. It is easy to say, but it is extremely difficult to practice it. "
Things were quite strange tonight, and everyone had no time to digest it, let alone understand the deep meaning of Wuxu's words. After seeing each other, they all had to clasp their hands together and recite the Buddha's name.
At this moment, four gray figures rushed in, separated from the crowd in the east, west, north and south directions. These four people, with bare heads and bare feet, released a lingering death aura, as if they were whistling in the night wind.
The rustling black robe.
These four people seemed to completely ignore Wuxu and others, and all focused on the nine-leaf green lotus lamp that was releasing thousands of golden Buddha lights at this moment. After a few breaths, one of the ghost cultivators shouted, "You guys are waiting.
Don't dare to refine the energy of the netherworld without relying on a mere Buddhist lamp, or you'll be caught quickly!"
The forces behind the scenes emerged! Wu Xu's heart sank, so he sent a spiritual message to Zhang Cuilu and others, telling everyone to be careful.
Those four people were also extremely cunning. Before one of their companions could finish speaking, they took action. This action set off a stormy sea in the Bone Cave, and the dead energy seemed to come to life, turning into countless jet-black flying knives, bright red
The rocket turned into an iron chariot full of sharp blades, and turned into a bloody eye... It was very terrifying.
Fortunately, Wuxu and others were prepared and started to move at the same time.
Zhang Cuilu and other eight people worked together to hold a nine-leaf green lotus lamp above Wuxu's head, and lowered thousands of rays of Buddha's light to protect themselves and Wuxu.
Wuxu squinted his eyes slightly. The various terrifying attacks around him were vaguely consistent with the hell scene described in the "Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva's Original Vow Sutra". It seemed that the great monk who created the boundless death energy behind his back was not a trivial matter. His subordinates could actually use ghosts to
Taoist exercises trigger the eighteen layers of hell in Buddhism.
Wuxu immediately entered the Dharma Realm of Nirvana and folded his hands in lotus position. The wandering death energy inside and outside the White Bone Cave was inexplicably drawn and headed towards Wuxu. Although it was blocked by the Buddha's light hanging down from the nine-leaf green lotus lamp, it was completely separated from these four
Human control.
Those four people were originally relying on the death energy that was everywhere in Fusang in Japan. They could get it anytime, anywhere and use it inexhaustibly. At this moment, Jing Wuxu's pulling and stirring suddenly no longer felt like a fish in water.
He stood there helplessly as if his clothes had been stripped off.
Zhang Cuilu and others saw the opportunity, and the nine-leaf green lotus lantern flew around and shot out four golden lights. Suddenly, a black smoke rose from the bodies of the four people, and then disappeared into nothing.
Hundreds of miles away, Zhao Tong, who was flying at full speed, stopped, turned around and looked at the Bone Cave, his face extremely cold, but then he smiled proudly. There was a trace of anger and disdain in that smile.
On Nagasaki Island, Duoji and Shihai, who had just landed, looked towards the direction of the Bone Cave and could not help but frown slightly. After a moment, they looked at each other, but hesitated to speak.
As the saying goes
Mercy kills, and sentient beings no longer love.
I have been troubled before, and I am not ashamed to see the Tathagata.
