014 The Fall of Cole Village

In the darkness, two blood-colored light spots kept flashing, and the terrifying and low-pitched threatening sounds of wild beasts came closer and closer. Jeffrey shuddered, and for some reason, he felt a chill running down his spine.

"Uncle Layton, front, front!"

He himself didn't realize that his voice was trembling violently at this time. After hurriedly reminding the man next to him, the hand holding the pitchfork began to shake like a stroke.

The man Layton also swallowed his saliva and waved the torch in his hand to threaten. Based on his experience, it seemed that a wild beast had entered the village by mistake.

Wild animals are afraid of fire, so as long as you threaten them with flames, you can usually scare them away!

Sure enough, under the threat of fire, the two red lights hesitated for a moment, and Leiden immediately emboldened himself and let out a low roar, trying to scare the beast away.

However, this time seemed to have stirred a hornet's nest. Only low beast roars were heard one after another, more red light spots surrounded them, and tall wargs with intertwined sharp teeth came out of the darkness.

These wolves are tall, nearly 1 meter tall when on all fours, have strong muscles and weigh at least 500 pounds, and have a ferocious and cunning light in their eyes.

And around their necks, there are pig iron collars covered with spikes.

The wargs walked out of the darkness one by one. There were more than a dozen of them. The leader, the wolf, let out a low roar. The surrounding wargs immediately formed a semicircle and surrounded Leighton and Jeffrey, their eyes filled with bloodthirsty and passion.

Joking.

Not only Jeffrey, but also Layton was panicking at this time. He protected Jeffrey behind him, swinging the torch back and forth in his hand to intimidate these wargs not to come closer.

"Jeffrey, Jeffrey! Back away slowly, don't move too fast."

Jeffrey was so frightened at this time that he had reached his limit without being scared enough to turn around and run. Under Leiden's urging, he felt as if his legs were filled with lead, and he was so stiff that he slowly moved backwards.

"call!"

"Chi!"

The surrounding wargs had lowered their bodies, their lips were twitching, and they were pawing the ground impatiently. Their sharp forelimb claws easily left a few scratches on the ground, but they seemed to be waiting for some order and did not immediately do so.

attack.

Jeffrey didn't know what these wargs were waiting for, but he hoped that this period of time would be as long as possible. It would be best if it never stopped, so that they could retreat farther and farther.

At this moment, several more figures walked out of the darkness. The moment they saw these figures, Jeffrey and Layton were so frightened that they did not dare to move.

These figures are extremely weird. They are obviously humanoid, but they have all kinds of strange tissues, which makes people shudder.

One of the people walked up to the warg and stretched out his tentacle-like right hand to stroke the top of a warg's head.

"Kill them all!"

After hearing this man's cold and weird voice, Layton was the first to react. He yelled sternly: "Jeffrey, run!"

Then he pushed Jeffrey hard, and he bravely grabbed the pitchfork and stood in front of Jeffrey.

Jeffrey was pushed by Layton and started running involuntarily. It wasn't until he ran two steps that he realized what had happened.

Uncle Layton is using his own life to give him a chance to escape.

He turned around involuntarily, just in time to see a warg leaping into the air, opening its bloody mouth and biting Leiden.

Layton mustered up his courage, grabbed the pitchfork and stabbed the warg in the throat. Unexpectedly, he was easily grabbed and slapped away by the warg, and then he was bitten on the throat and fell to the ground.

The shrill scream just sounded, as if it had been cut off. The sharp fangs were like sharp knives, easily piercing through Leiden's neck, and countless blood gushes out and flows back into the trachea.

"Gulu gulu."

Layton stretched out his hand to push away the wolf that was pressing on him, but how could he possibly defeat this terrifying beast? The wolf bit Layton's neck, pulled it hard, and tore off the whole of Layton's body.

The head was pulled off.

"Ouch!"

Tasting the taste of blood, the wargs became even more violent. Their blood-red eyes stared at Jeffrey closely, and the surrounding wargs also swarmed up and chased Jeffrey.

Jeffrey was so frightened that he screamed and ran away. The villagers patrolling around heard the movement and ran over one after another. Then they screamed and were thrown to the ground by these wargs.

Countless screams broke the silent night in Cole Village. Countless lights lit up in the houses. After waking up, the villagers immediately walked out of the room with weapons, only to see terrifying monsters frantically killing humans.

The guinea pigs were divided into two teams and attacked from both sides of Cole Village. Some villagers saw that something was wrong and wanted to escape. Even if they were lucky enough to avoid the attack of the warg, they could not save their lives from the guinea pigs following the warg.

.

The attack methods of these guinea pigs are also extremely weird. Their movements are agile, comparable to knights, and the alienated parts of their bodies are incredibly lethal. They either tear people into pieces with their tentacles, or pierce them through the heart with their sharp claws. And they seem to enjoy it.

This kind of bloody killing, when the blood was shed, dry laughter came from under the black robe.

More and more villagers fell in front of the guinea pig troops. Even if the brave villagers launched a counterattack, they could not resist the ferocious wargs and strange guinea pigs.

Some villagers were so brave that they picked up kitchen knives and rakes and rushed towards the enemy, hoping to win a chance for their families. However, almost as soon as they met, they were torn into pieces by wargs and guinea pigs, dripping with blood.

Facing such a ferocious enemy, some villagers finally collapsed. They cried desperately and knelt on the ground begging for mercy. Many women held their children with tears streaming down their faces and kept kowtowing, but they were directly thrown to the ground by the wargs.

As the sharp teeth intertwined, there was no sound.

These people don't care at all whether the target of the massacre is male or female, old or young. The order they received is to eradicate all the victims and leave no one behind!

In just ten minutes, there were only about thirty living people left in Cole Village. Jeffrey looked pale and looked at the only remaining women and children in front of him, his eyes full of despair.

All the men died to protect their families.

But now the only people beside him are women and children.

Cole Village is finished!

At this time, Jeffrey locked everyone in the granary in the center of the village. This is the strongest building in the village. It is divided into three floors. Relying on the strong solid wood door, it should be able to hold on for a while.

He climbed to the second floor of the granary and looked at the tragic scene outside through the window.

The wargs were gnawing at the corpse, while the monster-like troops chopped off the heads of the corpse and built them into a tower of human heads.

They seemed to have determined that the last survivor of Cole Village had nowhere to escape. They just surrounded the granary and did not rush to attack. Instead, they started a strange ritual.

Jeffrey turned back and looked at the woman who was sobbing softly, and for a moment he didn't know what to do.
