Hunter School, also known as the Venezuelan Army Special Operations School, was established in 1981 and is located in Montes City, Sucre State, northern Venezuela, close to the Caribbean Sea.

It was formerly a base for activities and training of US special forces in South America. During the period from 1963 to 1967, the 7th and 8th Special Forces Groups of the US Army helped Venezuela train 13 special forces to deal with the anti-government forces at the time.
Since the earliest special forces in Venezuela were organized into battalions and engaged in jungle operations all year round, these troops were also called hunter battalions (batallones de Cazadores).
As for why China calls it a hunter school, it may be because the first batch of two Chinese soldiers who went to train took a course called hunter course.
This four-week course is basically the selection process for the U.S. Army Rangers.

These soldiers must know that the only things they can provide during interrogation are their name, rank, and serial number, because this is required by the Geneva Convention
