Chapter 134 Pollution

Recco walked into the cafe called "Shining". He searched for a while in the crowded store and soon found Xing Ze in a corner.

"Have you read today's Daily Prophet?" Xing Ze asked as soon as he sat down.

The great poet curled his lips and replied: "I never read that kind of fake news."

"Then take a look at it reluctantly." Xing Ze threw a newspaper to Reko, "Look at today's headlines.

After a while, the poet frowned and muttered: "Do you think..."

"That's right, it's just as you thought. We have nothing to do anyway, so why not go take a look?"

"But we can't go in. The Ministry of Magic should have sent people to guard it long ago."

Xing Ze smiled and said, "Why should we go to the main entrance?"

"Ah, I understand." Reko also laughed.

The location where the case occurred is located at the junction of the villages of New Ravenska and Old Ravenska, in an abandoned office building.

Just as Reko expected, several young Aurors were guarding outside the building. The wizards had cast a concealing spell on the place. From a Muggle perspective, those weirdly dressed wizards could not be seen at all.

"What's going on later?" Reko asked Xing Ze who came back.

"There is a back door and no one is guarding it." Xing Ze replied, "But there is an anti-theft charm."

"Then let's go, a few anti-theft charms won't stop us." Reko said confidently.

Xing Ze grabbed Reko who was about to leave and said, "No, something is wrong. Don't you think there are too few guards? Just two Aurors."

"Maybe they didn't take it to heart at all. Maybe the newspaper was exaggerating. You know, the Daily Prophet always likes to play this trick."

Xing Ze waved his magic wand and cast an eagle eye spell on himself. He pointed to the rooftop of the office building and said, "Let's go from above. It's safer there."

"Good idea." Reko nodded, "I hope they forgot to put an anti-theft charm on the door above."

After two bursts of noise, the two of them appeared on the rooftop of the office building, and Reko cast a reconnaissance spell with ease.

"They really forgot what I said." The poet laughed, "Maybe I guessed it right, the newspaper was exaggerating."

The moment he arrived at the rooftop, Xing Ze felt a chill rush from his back to his forehead, so he did not reply immediately. Before he could react, Reko had already arrived in front of the rusty gate.

He recited the spell to open the Alaho Cave, and Xing Ze suddenly shouted: "Stop, Reko!"

But it was too late, the door creaked open. A cold wind rushed out from inside, mixed with a strange rotten smell.

Reko's brain felt like being hit by a hammer. He cursed and was soon captured in a dream.

"Back off, Reko." Xing Ze resisted the waves of coldness. This cold feeling did not come from the outside world, but from themselves.

The pollution of dreams distorted their brains and caused serious problems with their senses.

Xing Ze took a deep breath and wanted to take the poet away from the door, but as he continued to approach, the surrounding scenery began to become distorted and blurred, and he found himself on top of a huge glacial lake.

"That's stupid." Xing Ze cursed, and he turned around in a circle, white, white, white, surrounded by endless white snow.

Click, click, the sound of the ice cracking sounded. Xing Ze looked helplessly at his feet, the ice cracked like broken glass.

With a pop, he fell into the cold lake water, and a feeling of suffocation followed. He did not struggle in vain, but waited quietly.

His consciousness gradually blurred, "Please bring my daughter back." A voice sounded in my ears.

"If you're dead, you're dead, Xing Ze." Another voice sounded.

"That poor man, I heard that his wife passed away from cancer just last month. He and his daughter are left alone to depend on each other."

More and more voices came to him.

Hurry up! Xing Ze shouted in his heart, hurry up! Something grabbed his hand and pulled him out of the cold lake water.

As if he had experienced a terrible nightmare, Xing Ze suddenly woke up. He saw the black cat jumping on his shoulder, so he decisively reached out his hand, and the black cat turned into a long whip and wrapped around the poet.

Then with a strong force, Reko was pulled away from the door. Xing Ze continued to wave his wand, and the rusty door at the other end closed with a bang.

Reko finally came to his senses after he retreated to the center of the rooftop. He was breathing heavily, and his whole body was wet with sweat.

Untouchable, incomprehensible, and unspeakable. This is the realm of dreams, a realm that humans have not yet been able to touch. Xing Ze remembered a sentence in Benson's notes.

After a while, Reko said: "For Merlin's sake, I now know why they didn't set up an anti-theft charm here."

"With such serious pollution, how did people from the Ministry of Magic get in?" Xing Ze frowned and looked at the iron door.

"They, phew - they have equipment to resist contamination. And I think the people who go in should be people from the Key Hall, not Aurors. They know some spells to resist contamination."

If this is the case, then Mr. R should have brought someone here. But if it hadn't been for news reports, he might still have been kept in the dark.

Everyone in the big family defends their shortcomings. Xing Ze had to admit that John was right.

"We have to find a way to get those equipment." Xing Ze muttered, he knew who could help.

Just when he was about to write a letter for Blue Beak to send to John, an owl flew and stopped in front of him.

The bird held a cloth bag in its beak. Xing Ze took out two coins and dropped them into the leather pouch on its leg. The owl placed the cloth bag on the ground, then spread its wings and flew into the air.

"What is that? Who sent it?" Although the poet has not recovered from the mental shock just now, his curiosity has not been affected at all.

"You'll know after you take a look." Xing Ze reached out to grab a letter on the bag.

Unexpectedly, the letter jumped up on its own, just like Ron's mother's roaring letter in the movie, it also started to speak.

"Boy, I suggest you read today's newspaper." John's voice came from the letter. "If you plan to go to Novi Ravenska Village to have a look, the contents in the bag may be able to help you."

After saying that, the letter was automatically torn into pieces.

Xing Ze opened the bag and found two crystal brooches and something similar to a pocket watch.

After he took out these things, the bag turned into pieces of paper with a swish, and the pieces of paper made a sound automatically like the previous letters.

"These crystal brooches can resist the pollution of dreams. As for the other thing, it is made by the International Institute of Magic and imitated the church's pollution counter. It can detect the pollution index nearby."

After the sound disappeared, the piece of paper was automatically shredded immediately.
