Chapter Nineteen Two Acquaintances

He looks slightly thinner than in the movie, with bright eyes and slightly curled lips, which makes him feel very friendly.

However, Xing Ze clearly knew that the person in front of him was not as harmless as he appeared. He was currently in the stationmaster's room at the Novi Ravenska Railway Station. There were two senior Aurors standing in each corner of the room. There should be more people outside the door.

There are two.

The train station was temporarily requisitioned and became the rescue headquarters, and the original stationmaster's office was also used as the commander's office.

"It's an honor to meet you, Mr. Xing Ze." His voice was deeper and his tone was slower than in the movie.

Xing Ze showed a humble smile: "I should be the one who feels the honor, Mr. Shakur."

"Just call me Kingsley. Sorry, those tedious inspections and inquiries are necessary procedures. I hope you won't mind."

"Of course not, sir, I'll call you sir." Xing Ze's smile did not change, "I am also an employee of the Ministry of Magic, so I can understand."

"Look, I forgot about this." Kingsley also laughed, showing his white teeth, "Then you are going to Hogwarts to be a lecturer."

"Yes, for three years, that's what Minister Fudge meant. I think you should have read the letter."

Kingsley nodded, "I've seen it. This is not an easy job. Those students, you know, they are noisy."

Xing Ze laughed dryly and waited patiently, waiting for the topic to get back on track.

"But before you go to teach, I have some questions, Xing Ze." Kingsley narrowed his eyes, "About trains, about Cecil, about monsters... But I don't know where to start, you

Maybe you can give me a suggestion."

"You can see everything in the report." Xing Ze replied without humility, "I told the interrogator everything I knew."

"I will, but some things are a little different from what you said. Oh, don't be nervous, Xing Ze, I'm not questioning you. Your noble behavior is worthy of praise, but we have to find out. I believe you can understand."

"Is it about Cecil?"

"Ah, I like talking to smart people." Kingsley leaned forward, which made him look more oppressive, "Yes, about the traitor, you tortured him..."

"That's..."

"No, no, no." The Auror captain stretched out his hand to interrupt Xing Ze, "If it were me, I would do it harder. There is no problem."

"Really? Then I don't understand?"

"He died. His throat was slit and he bled to death."

Xing Ze was slightly shocked, but his face remained calm. Now he knew why the interrogator's expression changed when he mentioned this matter.

Cecil is an important clue to find the truth behind the incident. Xing Ze tried his best to save his life because of this. It seems that Benson and he guessed correctly that Cecil was not the only one who sneaked into the train.

Who could it be?

Edwin and Reco? No, this is against common sense. That middle-aged couple from Wales? It's possible, but they also helped stabilize the temperature of the train. Students at Hogwarts? But those are a group of people.

Children aged 11 or 12, can they have this ability?

Conjectures emerged in Xing Ze's mind one by one, and were overturned one by one. There were too few clues, and they were far from enough to piece together the complete truth.

Xing Ze clearly knew that he had no right to interfere with the progress of the case, but he couldn't help but ask: "Where are the other people on the train? Do you suspect that I killed Cecil?"

"I'm afraid I can't reveal more information to you, Xing Ze. But I promise..."

There was a knock at the door, which made the Auror captain swallow his words. He waved his hand dissatisfiedly, and an Auror opened the door.

The person who entered the room was a young wizard. He walked quickly to Kingsley, leaned down and whispered something.

Kingsley's expression gradually became serious. When the man finished speaking, he was silent for a while before saying, "You can leave."

Xing Ze was a little unsure and asked in a low voice: "What did you say?"

Although he was very reluctant, Kingsley repeated: "You can go, take your things, and go to Hogwarts."

The young wizard walked up to Xing Ze with a professional smile on his face: "Please come with me, sir, and I will take you to get your things."

Xing Ze wanted to be able to leave this place, but it was very funny to leave in such a confused way.

The moment before he walked out of the room, Kingsley's deep voice sounded behind him: "Mr. Xing Ze, I hope we can have a drink next time we meet."

The young wizard not only returned Xing Ze's belongings, but also thoughtfully called for a Yeqi carriage.

Xing Ze was about to say thank you to him when the young wizard spoke first: "Sir, don't forget, September 3rd, the Three Broomsticks."

"Wait a minute." Xing Ze called out, but the carriage took off and the wizard quickly disappeared from his sight.

Another damn puzzle.

The Thestral carriage arrived at Hogwarts at noon. Standing on the only road leading to the school gate was an acquaintance, Professor McGonagall.

Xing Ze was a little surprised. He did not expect that this important figure in the wizarding world would come to greet him in person. According to his memory, his predecessor had a good relationship with Professor McGonagall, and they would compete with each other on chess skills.

Even after his predecessor left Hogwarts, the two would often communicate through letters. However, this relationship only lasted until Xing Ze went to work at the Ministry of Magic.

Professor McGonagall is wearing her iconic pointed hat. She looks similar to the one in the movie, maybe even younger.

"I knew it, I knew it," she shouted excitedly, "You will be fine. They say good people shouldn't have such a short life."

Xing Ze smiled and said: "Hello, professor, this is really surprising. How did you know that I would come?"

Professor McGonagall straightened her back, raised her lips and said, "Although I left the Ministry of Magic a long time ago, everyone has a few friends."

Xing Ze nodded and looked at the majestic castle not far away. This is a place that many young people have dreamed of, but for Xing Ze, this place is both strange and familiar. "I haven't been back for several years."

"Time flies so fast, Xing Ze, let me talk while walking."

"certainly."

The two walked along the path, talking about some insignificant things, and soon they came to the gate.

A wizard from the Ministry of Magic leaned listlessly against the iron gate. He raised his eyes to look at the person, then stretched out his hand and said: "Identification."

"I just walked out of this door ten minutes ago, do you remember?" Professor McGonagall asked as she took out her pass.

"No." The wizard shook his head, "I only authenticate the documents, madam. Where is yours?"

"He just arrived and hasn't applied for a pass yet."

Before Xing Ze could speak, Professor McGonagall answered for him. It was obvious that she was not satisfied with what the Ministry of Magic was doing in the school.

"Then I'm sorry, he can't go in."

Xing Ze took out the letter from his briefcase and handed it over. The wizard took it reluctantly, looked at it, and then returned the letter to Xing Ze.

"Sorry, I only authenticate the documents."
