Chapter 203 The rumored wizard

"Hey, where are you taking us?" Ellie asked the girl in front of her. The three of them shuttled through various dark alleys and gaps between houses for a long time.

Tina stopped and replied: "Go to school, it's safe there."

"You finally spoke." The eldest lady complained, "I almost thought you were a mute."

"Do you know my son? Ace?" The Sheriff was obviously more concerned about this than where he was now.

A trace of confusion flashed across the faces of Tina and Ellie, "Really, Mr. Skrtel? Do you have to worry about your son making friends at this time?" the girl asked.

The Sheriff also realized that his question was somewhat inappropriate. He waved his hand and said: "Forget that question. School safety? As far as I know, the two largest communities in the town have been attacked by car bombs.

"And the hospital, the hospital is finished. Obviously, these madmen are not only provoking a war between Muggles and wizards. They are also planning to attack densely populated areas. So, are you sure the school is safe?"

Tina continued to get into an alley again, "Believe it or not." Her voice gradually became distant.

"What do you think, Miss Shafiq?"

"Since that girl is very likely to become your daughter-in-law in the future." Ellie stepped forward and followed her, "I choose to believe her."

The Sheriff's originally pale face became even paler, "Really? Do you really think so? My merciful Lord, tell me this is not true."

Ellie ignored Scott's worries and followed Tina closely, "Maybe you should be more polite to your future father-in-law."

"Don't make fun of me, ma'am." The girl whispered seriously, "Ace and I are just ordinary friends."

"Okay, okay, my fault, strong woman." Ellie gave in. For a moment, she felt that she had inevitably gotten into the habit of getting out of here, whether it was her tone of voice or her way of dealing with others.

Speaking of that bastard, Ellie's heart sank again. Don't die, bastard! She shouted in her heart.

After quickly gathering her emotions, the eldest lady asked the girl again: "What the Sheriff said makes sense. I don't think those lunatics will be merciful and let the school go.

"If you have any information that we don't know, tell us so that we can follow you with peace of mind.

"If not, then take us to see the school administrator so that we can convince him to strengthen our defenses in case of a sudden attack."

After walking out of this dark alley, Tina replied: "Their plan to attack the school failed. Therefore, the school is safe for the time being, and the dean strengthened the school's defense from the beginning.

"There are many wizards there. Although I don't like them, they are pretty good and they are just right for guarding the door."

The eldest lady frowned slightly and asked coldly: "It sounds like you don't like wizards?"

Tina took off her hood and lifted half of her long hair.

After seeing the words burned by magic on her face, the eldest lady's brows deepened.

"I don't just dislike wizards, I hate them." The girl let down her hair and confirmed her surroundings in a low voice, as if she was looking for the most suitable path.

The Sheriff stepped forward and asked, "What did I miss?"

Ellie shook her head and whispered to him: "If she comes to your house for dinner in the future, don't embarrass her too much."

"Can we change the topic?" Mr. Skrtel curled his lips, "Hey, Tina, your name is Tina, right? You just said that their plan was ruined? What a way to ruin it?"

In the end, Tina chose an upward path, and the three of them went up the safe stairs outside an apartment.

"The dean sent people to try to stop the attack plan," Tina said, "but they failed. The two communities were almost bombed into rubble. But the team that went to stop the attack on the school brought back good news.

"They saw a wizard who single-handedly destroyed the sawmill where the attackers were based.

"After the wizard left, they went in and took a look. Oh, that place has now become a hell. There are corpses everywhere, either broken corpses or burnt corpses."

Tina spoke very calmly, but her breathing became much faster. I don't know whether it was because of climbing the stairs or because of excitement.

"A wizard? Single-handedly destroyed a cult base?" The eldest lady seemed to have thought of something.

"Yes, the people who came back also said that the wizard took away the mayor's son - Luke Mendez." When the name was mentioned, the girl's body trembled slightly.

The eldest lady pressed her swollen forehead and said, "This sounds very much like his style."

Tina stopped in front of a room. She tried to open the lower window, and the window opened easily.

The girl jumped in skillfully and quickly. The sheriff signaled that women should take priority while he checked the safety of the rear.

As soon as the eldest lady entered the room, Tina threw her a bottle of mineral water, "I checked with the people in the team and they said it was an Oriental. So it's him, right?"

"Maybe, but that's an exaggeration. How many people come to that place, uh, sawmill?"

"Rough statistics, there should be more than a hundred people."

"This is impossible." Skrtel took the water and shouted, "Is he a monster? One person versus a hundred, this is really a huge disparity."

Tina unscrewed the bottle and took a sip, "It's true, Mr. Skrtel. Whether you admit it or not, the wizard did destroy a cult settlement, and it was the largest one."

"Then do you know where he went?" Ellie asked.

Tina shook her head.

An expected answer. The eldest lady thought to herself.

Alfred looked around nervously with his wand in hand. Behind him, Kathleen was inspecting the dilapidated car.

"Damn, she's too old," the old lady complained, "I should have replaced hers ten years ago."

"Are you ready?" the young Auror asked again.

"Be patient, young man." Kathleen closed the hood of the engine. "We have only been parked for ten minutes, but you have already asked me this question ten times."

"I don't want to rush you, Ms. Catherine." Alfred looked bitter, "But I'm afraid it's not safe around here."

Kathleen opened the back door of the car and began to put on equipment, "Then what do you do, kid? I asked you to look around so you can give me a warning before danger comes."

As she spoke, she closed the car door and tightened the sling of the shotgun, "Get on the road, kid. We have to get to the hospital before your blood runs out."

"Aren't we going to drive?"

"Forget her, she is finished, just like my second husband who had a heart attack and died, completely finished."

Katherine sighed and took one last look at the broken car with a sad expression. Alfred wanted to comfort her, but the old lady's words made him give up this idea.

"It's a pity that this car cannot be insured."
