Chapter 23 Blue Beak

After dinner, Xing Ze found his office and dormitory with the help of an enthusiastic teacher.

The kind man's name was Ben MacMillan, a new teacher who was two years older than Xing Ze. Along the way, he recounted how he passed the written examination, the interview, and finally got the teaching seat at Hogwarts.

.

Like Xing Ze, he teaches Muggle Studies, and other than being a bit of a mouthful, he is a very nice person.

Xing Ze's office is located on the side of Clock Square, near the shed bridge that was blown up in the last movie.

The room is not small in size, and there is a partition wall in the middle that divides it into two. The outside is used as an office, and the inside is a bedroom.

The furnishings of the office are very simple. A long wooden table is placed near the window. In front of the table are a sofa and a coffee table. The floor is covered with an oval red and black checkered carpet. On the right side of the coffee table there is a fireplace, bookcases and

The wine cabinet is a few steps away from the fireplace.

The bedroom door is behind the couch, near the wine cabinet. There is a bed, a small desk, and a wardrobe inside.

Xing Ze took some time to sort it out. He took out all the application items in his briefcase and put them away, and then put a delicate brass ring on his hand.

This ring has a "Traceless Stretch Charm" on it, which is of course approved by the Ministry of Magic. Its space is roughly equivalent to a cupboard, which contains some items for survival in the wild, tents, bottled water, canned food, and

Part of the space is reserved for medical supplies.

"Very considerate." Xing Ze sighed, he was equally cautious in this world.

Outside the window, the raven tapped the glass with its beak. After opening the window, it immediately flew in. Xing Ze saw a stone in its mouth. He stretched out his hand, and the bird stopped on his hand.

"Where did you get it?" That stone has magic power. Although the magic power is very weak, Xing Ze can still sense it. To be precise, he can sense it through the blue beak.

"What's the use of this?" Xing Ze asked again.

Blue Beak swallowed the stone, and then it transformed into a black mud-like shield the size of a police shield. Then by calling on the magic power of the stone, the entire shield turned into stone in less than a second.

Like a solid stone wall.

Xing Ze stood up in surprise and reached out to touch the shield. It was incredible, even in the magical world.

You must know that although transfiguration can change objects regardless of material structure, it requires the wizard's precise control of magic power and a lot of practice. Therefore, this is an extremely advanced spell and it is not easy to master.

The ability that Blue Beak just revealed, although it is not a high-level transformation spell, is far superior to ordinary wizards in terms of accuracy and time. It only takes about a second to guide the magic to complete the transformation. In memory

Among them, Xing Ze has only seen Professor McGonagall who can do this.

The stones containing magic power disappeared quickly. After a while, the stone wall turned back into black mud. After twisting a few times, it turned into a raven again.

Xing Ze suddenly realized that this was not some kind of transformation, but a kind of magic he had never seen before.

Yes, it would be too absolute to classify it as a transfiguration. Xing Ze thought, the shining cube-shaped octahedron absorbed the magic power and then transformed it into another form.

Just like the dead Nove Ke, it had been drained of magic power and flesh and blood, and even no bones were left. Transfiguration cannot do this.

"So, you are longing for magic power?" Xing Ze looked at the raven and murmured. Blue Beak quacked a few times, as if to confirm Xing Ze's words.

Xing Ze was silent for a moment and then asked: "If I help you, can you take me back to the original world?"

"Quack." There were still two crows.

"Then it's agreed."

Xing Ze had a good sleep. He couldn't remember how long he hadn't slept well. Ever since he became a detective, nightmares had become his closest companion.

He got up early, and today was a good day for traveling. He washed briefly, and after breakfast, he set off for Diagon Alley. Before going to the Three Broomsticks Bar, he needed a wand of his own.

Due to the plague in Wales, the Floo site in Hogsmeade Village was closed, so he had to go to New Ravenska Village, which probably took him more than an hour.

However, this also gave him plenty of time to read today's Daily Prophet on the Yeqi carriage. The train accident was captured by the World Quidditch Tournament, but this did not hinder the information Xing Ze wanted to find.

Conductor Balk was sent to St. Mungo's Hospital, conductor Bowman was still under further interrogation, and other staff were temporarily placed in the Ministry of Magic, claiming to be receiving comprehensive treatment. As for the real situation, who

It’s hard to say.

But the people didn't care about this, they just wanted a reasonable explanation, and the Ministry of Magic was happy to blame the corpse eaters, so the train incident turned into a terrorist attack carefully planned by the corpse eaters.

Monster? Oh, come on, how many people are willing to believe that the legendary ice monster appears in Britain? The Daily Prophet always tells the truth.

In addition, four enthusiastic passengers disappeared without a trace, and they were portrayed as unknown heroes. In contrast, there were almost no reports about Xing Ze. Professor McGonagall may have been right, the British Ministry of Magic did not need a yellow-skinned hero.

Or maybe the Department of Mysteries has other plans for him.

New Ravenska is a small village, but much larger than Hogsmeade, and most of its residents come from Old Ravenska, which was destroyed during the Goblin Rebellion.

Unlike Hogsmeade, there are both wizards and Muggles here, and cars are as common as flying broomsticks. Most of the local wizards are mixed-race, and they do not discriminate against Muggles, and some are even happy to accept new things.

The bar with the Floo network mark was on the side of the muddy intersection, and it took Xing Ze some effort to find it.

There were many wizards waiting to use the Floo fireplace in the bar. Xing Ze asked for a number from the bartender, and then waited quietly aside.

When Kingsley appeared, he was staring at the wall clock behind the bar counter in a daze. It wasn't until the tall black wizard walked up to him that he came back to his senses.

"What a coincidence, Xing Ze." Kingsley said with a smile, "Where are you planning to go?"

He didn't come alone, he was accompanied by a woman who was also an acquaintance - Nymphadora Tonks. It seemed that the train incident was a bit tricky.

"Then it's you, a little-known hero." Tonks raised the corner of her mouth slightly and looked Xing Ze up and down, "You are more ordinary than I thought, are they not mistaken?"

"Keep your voice down, Tonks, there are a lot of people here," Kingsley reminded.

Xing Ze showed a wry smile. He saw Tonks flipping her pink hair nonchalantly, "I plan to go to Diagon Alley to buy some things."

"Really?" Kingsley gave Xing Ze a meaningful look, "There is also a Floo Fireplace at the train station. I can take you there. It's much faster, so why waste time here."

"Thank you for your kindness, Mr. Kingsley. I'd better wait here. Look, I'm almost there."

Kingsley's smile did not change. He nodded and said, "If you insist on doing this, I wish you a pleasant journey."

"the same as you."
