Chapter 71: The Sweet Home

That candy shop really stood out. Its bright colors were out of tune with Knockturn Alley, like a rose blooming on cow dung.

The door was closed, and it was probably impossible to enter through the front door. Just when Xing Ze thought this, John kicked the door open.

"Hey, kid, do you want to continue standing outside, or come in and take a look?" He asked Xing Ze who was stunned outside.

"Maybe we should keep a low profile." Xing Ze suggested.

"Come on, this house looks like no one lives in it. Besides, the Oil Gang is gone, who else can control us?"

"Okay, that makes sense." Xing Ze followed into the candy house. It seemed that someone had visited this place before them. Everything was smashed to pieces, making it look like a doomsday ruins.

John kicked a broken stool away from his feet and said, "What the hell is going on in this world? What kind of bastard would have trouble with a candy store. If you ask me, a world where candy stores and brothels are the same as shit is one of the few happy places."

"Where's the bar?" Xing Ze asked.

"The bar is paradise." John walked into the room, "The first floor is mine."

Xing Ze glanced at the almost collapsed stairs, "Can we decide by guessing?"

"By the way, what are we looking for?"

Xing Ze couldn't give an answer to John's question for a while. They both knew who ruined this place, and they also knew that Bill's disappearance must be related to the Oil Gang. But now, except for Naya from Sweet Home, they

There are not many clues left to pursue.

"Letters, telegrams... Since Bill and Eric are partners, they must have exchanged information, and they may have mentioned the fragment."

"Are you sure, kid? The floor of this place is almost lifted. If there was that kind of information, the Oil Gang would have taken it away long ago."

"Maybe they missed something." When he said this, Xing Ze himself didn't believe it.

He used the levitation spell to reach the second floor and found several letters in Bill's bedroom. They were randomly thrown on the messy ground, along with a pile of clothes and broken furniture.

"I have traveled all over Ireland, from the rivers to the peaks of the mountains...I have never seen a beauty like her..."

One of the love letters aroused Xing Ze's interest. He read the full text in a low voice, and the last line was dedicated to my beloved L.

Xing Ze put the love letter aside and began to search in the messy room. He didn't know what he was looking for, but he just felt that something was missing.

After using the magic spell to prop up the wardrobe that had fallen to the ground, he found an iron box underneath that was so compressed that it was deformed. He moved his wand and the iron box flew into his hand.

Then, the wardrobe fell to the ground with a crash, blowing up the dust on the ground. Xing Ze opened the iron box, which contained two ferry tickets to the United States, dated August 20, and a rose hairpin.

That's it. Xing Ze smiled happily. Bill wanted to leave the UK, but with whom?

At this time, he heard John's cry, so he quickly came downstairs with the love letter and the iron box.

"Let's see where our Mr. Candy likes to go." John had a pink business card with the four characters "Sweet Home" printed on it.

"Are you chewing bubble gum?" Xing Ze asked after reading the business card.

"I found it in the storage room. It's not just left to waste." John blew a bubble, "Do you want it? There are quite a few there."

"Need not."

"What did you find?"

"A love letter, two ferry tickets and a hairpin."

"Oh, that's great." John sneered, "Now all you need is a princess who can elope with you."

"I think so too." Xing Ze pointed to the business card, "And I think we can find the princess there."

Sweet Home is located on Bran Street in Knockturn Alley. It is a five-story high-rise building with lively decoration. It looks similar to the Burrow, but is several times larger than the Burrow.

Several dwarfs in funny costumes were soliciting business at the door. There was a long queue of Thestral carriages and private carriages, and girls in various costumes came and went from time to time.

"Ah, I smell happiness." John sniffed hard, not caring that the rain wet his hair.

A sharp-eyed dwarf came up to me quickly and shouted cheerfully: "Hey, big dog, I thought you were drunk in the barrel. You didn't come yesterday, and you didn't come the day before yesterday."

"Ah, Podwu." John spit out the bubble gum in his mouth, "Old man, I miss the girls very much. But I have some things, big things, recently."

"Hahaha, friend, don't talk outside. Come in, come in, you can talk to those beautiful and plump girls about big things in detail." The dwarf deliberately emphasized the last few words.

He skillfully took John's hand and then turned his attention to Xing Ze: "Oh, look, who is this handsome guy?"

Handsome guy? Xing Ze subconsciously touched his face. Indeed, he took care of himself before coming here, washed off the mud on his face, and changed out of his bloody shabby clothes, but that shouldn't be enough to make him

Become handsome.

"He is my distant nephew, my cousin's son. He married an Oriental woman."

Podwu burst out laughing, and Xing Ze didn't realize there was anything laughable about what he just said.

"Ah ha, we have beautiful oriental girls here. They are petite and cute, and their voices are moving, just like thrushes. Look, I have said enough. Come in, you two."

Xing Ze followed John into Sweet Home. The colorful colors inside made him dizzy, and various smells were mixed together - wine, the smell of men's sweat, perfume, and cigarettes.

In a daze, he had the illusion of returning to a disco bar, except that there was less noisy music.

"Hey, kid, follow me closely. The girls here are very enthusiastic. I don't want you to be dragged away by them." John stopped and reminded.

"It's more chaotic than I thought." Xing Ze frowned, "In this case, it will be difficult for us to find Her Royal Highness."

"Don't worry, this is just the outside. Only VIPs can get Prince Candy's business card. We have to look inside." John whispered as he walked.

Podwu chose a relatively quiet corner for them as requested. John tipped him generously and then took a cocktail from the waiter.

"Hey, kid, let me teach you, so you don't get laughed at by those waiters." John raised his glass and pointed to a small door not far away, "That's where we're going, they call it the stable.

."

"Horse stall?"

"Yes, those women are like fierce horses. Black people are called thrusters, white people are called flat butts..." Just as John was boasting, several men walked up to them quickly.

The leader must be at least two meters tall, with broad shoulders and a round waist. His face seems to have been burned, and his chin is wrinkled and ugly.

"Look, the big dog and his little follower." The man laughed gloomily.

John finished the glass of wine and looked impatient: "We are just here to have some fun, Jack, is this not enough?"

"Of course, everyone is welcome at Sweet Home." Jack put away his smile, "But before that, Dad wants to meet you."

"Dad wants to see us? Come on, Jack, that's not a good joke. You and I have never had anything to do with each other."

"Now we have it." Jack waved his hand, and the person behind him immediately showed the wand in his hand.

John hesitated for a while, then put on a smile and said: "Okay, okay, Jack, I'll go with you. Damn it, can't I play with the girls first?"

Jack ignored John, but pointed at Xing Ze: "You come too."

"I?"

"That's right, dad wants to see you more than this drunkard." Jack's ugly face became more sinister.
