Chapter 17 History

Chi Yan, who was making a fuss on the snow, suddenly felt a chill and looked around with his eyes wide open.

A dozen goblins, each carrying several pikas and rabbits on their backs, looked at it blankly, at a loss.

Chi Yan's huge head shook, and his red hair flicked away to drive away the chill.

Lin Hai looked at these dozens of rats and rabbits, which were no smaller than rabbits on Earth, and nodded slightly. This was enough meat for the entire tribe for several days.

He simply blew a clear whistle to call Chi Yan back.

A dozen or so scattered goblins listened to the God of Thunder's orders from a distance and hurried over.

"gather!"

More than ten seconds later, a group of very fast goblins each carried a few rats and rabbits on their backs, their expressions full of excitement.

The harvest in this moment has almost caught up with our harvest in the previous day.

"Ahhh!"

Lin Hai smiled slightly and said, "Divide the prey evenly on your back."

The goblins standing in two rows below were all steaming with heat. They threw the rat and rabbit in front of them without knowing why. Everyone took one together, and everyone took another one together, and then another one.

This is the method they used to use in order to distribute it evenly.

Lin Hai's lips twitched, "Okay, at least they can share it equally."

After each person carried four pikas on his back, there were still a few more on the snow, which were consciously lifted up by the larger goblins and carried on their backs.

"Well, it's evenly divided, then, let's all run forward to the goal, the territory."

The group of goblins was startled, making a whooping sound, and hurriedly pushed the goblin in front, fearing that a bolt of lightning would strike them on the spot.

The purpose of running with weights is to exercise their physical fitness. The effect of baptism is far better than imagined. They eat deliciously, sleep well and get up early, and they are full of energy.

The goblins may have poor health, but this kind of obedience makes Lin Hai very satisfied, or it may be said that all creatures of this era are like this.

The weak do not have the right to refuse, just like the tribe that allowed the evil god to demand but did not dare to resist at all.

Even if the evil god asked them to contribute fresh cubs, they would send their own cubs without hesitation.

Lin Hai's eyes were deep, and there seemed to be a hint of blue flashing in his brown pupils. He threw out his spear, wrapped in blue and white lightning, and plunged into the snow in the distance.

laugh--

The spear sank into the snow, causing several figures lying on the ground to jump up and twitch.

The goblins were startled, and when they saw those guys, they made a whooping sound, dropped the rats and rabbits on their backs, and rushed forward with spears on their faces with resentment.

"Ahhhhh."

Lin Hai watched the goblin rush forward without stopping him. This sentence contained a lot of information.

"Treacherous, guy?"

The two slightly stout goblin captains were holding spears, their gray skin was a little red, and their faces were even more ferocious, like green-faced fangs.

Followed by a dozen ordinary goblin warriors, with the same hatred and ferociousness, they wanted to eat their flesh and blood alive.

Several figures a few hundred meters away were slightly tall, at least 1.61 meters tall, with huge feet, rough skin, and visible tusks. They turned around and ran away dragging big sticks.

The guy who projected the spear must be a god, and gods, only gods can fight against him.

The leading Bigfoot has cruelty and cunning in its eyes, and its scarlet pupils emit a strange light.

Humph, he is not stupid. It would be best to let that guy fight with this guy and let them both die together.

laugh--

Unfortunately, a spear with thunder and lightning pierced his chest, and hot blood spurted out from the wound.

His pupils were dilated, 'He, isn't he still far away...'

In his dim pupils, a slender red figure sat with a naked upper body god.

The god stretched out his hand, and the spear that pierced his chest trembled. He pulled it out with a pop, shook off the blood drops in mid-air, and returned to the god like a swallow returning to its nest.

'Is this...is...God...'

The leading Bigfoot saw a scene from the past, where the monster as tall as a mountain asked them for food.

As a child, he watched helplessly as other children were brought to the altar that was stained dark red with blood.

The screams of despair, the blood spurting, everything was buried in his heart. He hated, he despaired, and he was free.

Lin Hai sat on Chi Yan's back, watching the goblins who followed and beat the remaining Bigfoots to death.

His eyes did not waver at all. The hot blood melted the snow, and the cold turned the blood into ice.

How could these guys come here? Lin Hai thought for a moment. This place is dozens of kilometers away from them. Could it be that they are interested in their tribe?

Also, what was the betrayal that the goblins just talked about? Lin Hai looked at the complicated expressions of the goblins, and then looked at the Bigfoot lying on the ground with his eyes open.

Is it possible that they had some kind of relationship before?

Judging from their bodies, they are clearly two species, just like the difference between cats and dogs.

After venting their anger, the goblins became somewhat silent. They went back and carried the pikas who had not yet woken up, and continued to run in two teams.

After returning to the tribe, Lin Hai approached the old goblin and asked this question.

The old goblin was a little silent, making a rhythmic sound, explaining everything to Lin Hai.

——————

Legend has it that a few generations ago, a dozen generations ago, or dozens of generations ago, their tribe was very large.

The population was very large, many, many times that of today. The old goblin couldn't tell clearly. After all, he also passed down the information from the older generation's word of mouth.

Later, an evil guy appeared and came to their tribe again and again to do evil, and each time he would eat many of them.

It makes them miserable and helpless to resist.

Seeing the tribe getting weaker day by day, two voices emerged from the tribe.

One is that he thinks he should leave here and keep himself useful for later use.

One is that they think they should surrender to that guy. The more they resist, the more that guy will eat.

Huge differences arose between the two parties, to the point of going to war with each other.

Later, those who supported fleeing took away a small number of people, and most of those who were unwilling to flee stayed there.

Neither side can convince the other, both think the other is wrong, and both think they are doing good for the tribe.

So much so that the people who escaped passed on this incident so that their descendants would remember these things.

After they found out that the conservatives personally gave people from their own tribe to the guy to eat, they angrily denounced the conservatives as traitors.

Their current tribe was founded by the group of people who escaped in the first place, and they passed this story down by word of mouth, hoping that future generations would remember this history.

As for the conservative people, they became the pawns of that guy. Their appearance and personality changed drastically, and they even came to kidnap the children of their tribe to worship that guy.

They have completely forgotten their past and are traitors to their race.
