18. Under the training unit

"A team should have at least the following parts:

"Vanguard, guards, heavy equipment, and sniper are the basic core of the team.

“The vanguard operator is responsible for assault and reconnaissance, the guard operator provides damage, the heavy-armed operator is responsible for protection, and the sniper operator is responsible for reconnaissance, damage, and cover.

"Between these positions, if someone is qualified for multiple positions, he can be involved in multiple positions. For example, he can serve as both a forward and a fullback at the same time, a combination like this.

“When conditions permit, special, auxiliary and medical operators can be assigned to the team, which will greatly enhance the team’s capabilities.

"Operators in these positions can bring immeasurable special advantages to the team. It would be great if such operators could also serve in other positions.

"That's what the information says."

Nate looked up and suggested:

"Why don't we first introduce whether we have any expertise or experience that matches these responsibilities? This way we can assemble a strong team faster."

Seeing everyone nodding in agreement, Nate continued to ask:

"Then, those who have experience in guard training, experience in joining the army, or those who have learned marksmanship, swordsmanship, riding skills, and mastered other light weapons and long weapons can meet the requirements for vanguards.

"If anyone fits the description, please raise your hand."

No one raised their hands except Nate himself.

"Then it looks like I can take charge of the vanguard position." Nate continued:

"Similarly, those who have security experience, military experience, and master any weapons or fighting skills can adapt to the Guard. Those who are capable of serving will raise their hands."

Still only Nate raised his hand.

"..." The atmosphere at the scene was a bit awkward. So far, no one except Nate has relevant experience. On the other hand, Nate is now almost omniscient and omnipotent, which makes the other five people look a little embarrassed.

Jiang Shao thinks this is not a good idea.

"I think... it's better to introduce your strengths, relevant experiences and aspirations first, and then analyze how to allocate these positions."

Jessica suggested.

Then she introduced: "I have experience in using firearms, although only a little... but I have learned relevant knowledge. I don't have much confidence in other positions... I am more willing to take on the role of sniper."

"This might be a better way." Nate also began to introduce his abilities:

"I have received training in spear, sword, and riding skills. Although I have also learned to use heavy weapons such as shields and war hammers...but after all, it is because of my size," he seemed to be mocking himself.

"I'm afraid I can't serve as a heavy operator."

"Don't you still have spells?" Elle asked. During the test yesterday, Jiang Shao, she and Nate met. "What is the use of your spells?"

"Treatment and emotional stabilization." Nate replied. "I have also learned first aid and other techniques, and I should be able to perform medical functions."

"...You are so strong." Jiang Yan sighed. Judging from the expressions of the others, they probably had the same idea——

This man is simply close to omnipotent.

In Jiang Yan's opinion, Xiao Ma's ability is closer to that of the Paladin. Except that he cannot be a tank, he is almost omnipotent.

Elle recalled it and found that she had almost no ability to fit into these functional categories. She sighed deeply and said:

"My major in college is civil engineering..."

Sensing Jiang Yan's shocked gaze, she rolled her eyes: "What's wrong, is it weird for girls to study civil engineering?"

However, because she had not slept well, the dark circles and bloodshot eyes made this action look more like a corpse transformation.

"...The spell I master is infrasound...because I myself will be affected, so I can only do it to an uncomfortable level."

"I know these abilities are not suitable for being an operator of a security contracting company." After saying this, she pouted as if she was angry.

"Well, it's okay. It still takes a long time. You can train slowly..." Ai Luo quickly comforted him, but Hank asked:

"What materials are your spells made of?"

Aier was stunned: "I have only used some ordinary Origin Stones until now..."

"Didn't you use the staff or other equipment?" Hank continued to ask.

"That's not true...what's wrong?"

Hank scratched his head and said: "My specialty is designing and modifying equipment, including Originium crafts, electronic products, and some special equipment."

"I think that if you design and make a special staff, you may be able to prevent yourself from being affected by the spell, thereby increasing the power of the spell."

Aier's eyes lit up when she heard this: "So what do you mean, I don't need to be a self-destruction mage anymore?"

Hank nodded and added: "I don't have any special skills other than these...but I have the desire to serve as a heavy-duty operator, but I'm just worried that I won't be able to do it...after all, my body is not strong enough."

Nate patted his shoulder: "It's okay. If you are willing, you can overcome this problem through training. Your ability to modify equipment can also help you better find weapons and methods that suit you."

Hank nodded gratefully.

Now only Ai Luo and Jiang Yan are left.

"Let me talk first." Ai Ruo started.

"I don't have any relevant work experience... and I don't have any special skills that I can use. The only skill is to pick locks. I can pick any lock, except biological locks and safety doors, as long as I have enough time."

Any locks? Jiang Yan was a little dumbfounded. It seemed that he felt Jiang Yan's doubts. Ai Luo explained:

"I also know the methods of padlocks, drawer locks, pin tumbler door locks, and some electronic locks. I can also open safes, but I need tools."

"...You are really a talent." Aier said. "With these means, wouldn't you have made a fortune long ago? Why are you still working as a security guard?"

Ai Luo seemed to completely ignore the thorn in her words: "Opening locks is just my hobby. And if being a locksmith was easier to make money, I would have stopped doing it long ago."

After saying that, he smiled bitterly and said, "I'm under quite a lot of financial pressure."

Finally, everyone's eyes fell on Jiang Yan.

"I can dive, survive in the wild, and speak many languages. In addition... I am very strong." Jiang Yan thought for a while and said, "I can also use the Origin Stone skills to enhance my abilities."

Okay, now that all abilities and aspirations have been introduced, let’s start assigning positions.

People without relevant experience or expertise all agreed and said they would follow the organization's arrangements.

The final coordination results are as follows:

Nate, deputy vanguard, deputy guard, and medical officer.

Jessica, in charge of sniper.

Aier, warlock, assistant.

Hank, in charge of heavy equipment (defense).

Ai Ruo, a pioneer.

Jiang Yan is in charge of the guards.

This result will not be a big problem, because the elective training they will participate in later will teach them all the skills they need.

The focus now is to avoid being expelled midway, Jiang Yan thought - except this place, he has no place to eat and satisfy himself.

But what he doesn't know is that his teammates are just as determined as he is... or need it.

Although the motivations vary.

PS: I hope the authorization will be passed once.
