42. Start the battle

At the moment, Jiang Yan is busy working at the window sill.

"The third floor is finished, as is the top floor." Nate and Ai Luo walked down the stairs.

Jiang Yan finished the work in hand. "The second floor is now completed."

"The sensors and pinhole cameras have been set up." Hank's voice came from the intercom."

"Where's Elle?"

Aier took the walkie-talkie and replied: "The calculation is completed and the explosives have been divided. Only the electronic fuse is needed to detonate it."

Everything is ready.

Jiang Yan called over the intercom: "Jessica, you can start getting ready."

"Yes, yes! Got it!" Jessica seemed to be taken aback, but she quickly replied: "I'm also ready."

"Received. Except for Jessica and Ai Ruo, everyone is ready to exit the building and do the finishing work."

Jiang Yan patted Ai Luo on the shoulder: "It's up to you."

Ai Ruo's face was not pretty, and he might have been a little nervous, but he still nodded firmly.

"I will try my best."

Then, everyone retreated to the first floor, sealed the doors and windows from the inside, and then exited the base camp.

"Archer, can you see anything above?"

"Nothing unusual." Archer replied through the headset. At this time, he was investigating the base camps of Team 5 and Team 7 through the roof of the building.

However, due to rules, high-powered telescopes cannot be used and all details cannot be seen - although this does not have a great impact on his prediction and aiming.

"Wait." Archer suddenly noticed the movements of Team 7 - they sealed the doors and windows on the first floor, and then four people gathered outside the base.

"What are they doing..." Archer reported the situation. Staff officer Jerry also felt something was wrong, but he couldn't describe the weird feeling.

Only ten minutes have passed now.

Then, about forty minutes later, someone walked out of the building and gathered with the large army in front of the building.

Counting the figure upstairs - that should be their sniper - now all six members of Team 7 have been exposed.

After listening to the situation report, Jerry fell into deep thought.

"Are we going to change our tactics?" the only female in the team asked worriedly. This was their medical operator Anna.

"...No." Jerry's instructions came from Archer's earphone. "We have no offensive advantage. Now that the defense has been deployed, changing tactics will not have much effect."

"Continue investigating."

"I got it." Archer started testing the distance between the buildings again - Li Boli couldn't fly, but if there was a way to change his sniping position, he could avoid the blind spot for sniping.

Can they get close enough to the blind spot? Archer asked himself.

In order to keep himself in a safe position, he only set up a sniper point on the roof of the base. This position was only blocked by the wall of the base, and the distance to the edge of the building was enough for him to knock down his opponent.

However, this feeling of uneasiness... Archer gradually became anxious.

"Mike, everyone in Team 7 has gathered at the entrance of their base."

The fifth team is also paying close attention to the abnormal behavior of the seventh team.

"...We'll see what they do after they start competing. Then we'll take action." Mike instructed.

He is not a smart man - he is very aware of this. When he was in the police force, he never expected to be a commander.

As for returning to Black Steel to serve as captain and command battles, it was something he had never thought about.

"The attack plan remains unchanged."

All their advantages are reflected in attacking difficulties, whether it is skills or experience. Now they can only find ways to use this advantage.

"Has the flag been planted?" He looked back and saw that a box had been placed in the open space on the first floor with their flag on it.

"No problem, it's already started."

Okay... Mike banged on the table, just like he was waiting for the mission to start, waiting for the start notice.

"...Are all the tasks clear?" Jiang and the other six people confirmed the process again to ensure that the plan went smoothly.

But no one is at fault - it's just that they can trust each other, so they can do this.

"Preparation phase, the last thirty seconds." Connor's voice reached everyone's ears through the intercom.

"Ready to move!"

Then, Jiang Yan began to do some useless stretching - to be honest, it actually moved his body, but it was more like relieving tension.

"start."

Connor's voice came out, and the first person to react was Jessica - she relied on her running and the unique physical advantages of the Felin tribe to jump between abandoned buildings.

Jiang Yan and his party followed Jessica's movement and aimed directly at the second team's base camp.

"Mike, Team 7 has started to move. The target is Team 2."

...Are they also planning to capture the flag?

Forget it, don't think too much, you will lose if you hesitate.

Let's see who is faster.

"Come down from the roof." Mike called the brother responsible for investigation upstairs through the intercom to come down.

"All personnel are armed and moving at full speed to the base of Team 7!"

Inside the second team base.

"They're coming for us," Archer reported.

"Who?" Jerry asked, "Team 5?"

"No, Team 7. Six people in total."

"Why... they don't have enough experience how to attack the difficult situation..." Jerry's voice sounded a little uneasy.

"Prepare to defend. Attack as soon as they come within range."

"I know." Archer began to estimate the distance silently.

"Jessica, can you see anything above?" Jiang Yan and his group began to move for a while.

In terms of route arrangement, in order to take care of Jessica's jumping movement and to hide themselves, they have been moving in Jessica's direction.

Jessica did not participate in the defensive arrangement because she needed a lot of time to observe and determine the route in advance, so they were able to move forward so smoothly now.

Jessica's stunts have been specially trained in the past few months - although she seems to have learned this method of movement before, when everyone was discussing tactics together, Jiang Yan was still frightened when she mentioned this move.

Time goes back to when the tactics are finalized.

Jiang Yan once again confirmed: "Jessica will maintain high speed by moving upstairs. At the same time, in order for her to complete this, the load she carries will be reduced to only the necessary weapons and ammunition."

Elle held Jessica's hand very worriedly: "You will be in a very dangerous situation now... Not to mention making mistakes in movement, without protective gear, you can easily be knocked down or even injured! Jay

Sika, there is no need for you to be like this, it is still too dangerous, why not..."

This is also what other teammates are worried about. Everyone is very worried about this, but...

"It doesn't matter, nothing will happen to me." Jessica shook her head firmly and refused: "I also want to contribute to everyone."

"...Okay." In the end, the teammates compromised. Jiang Shao continued:

"Moving upstairs can help us avoid traps and correct the route, but the most important problem solved by this method is-"

"We were able to gain visibility into other teams' activities to ensure the implementation of the plan."

Presumably, the fifth team will take advantage of their offensive capabilities. However, because they do not have sniper operators, as soon as the fifth team starts to move, the fifth team will lose the view from the high platform.

"We will move from the beginning to lure the fifth team to attack our empty base camp. And Jessica - you are responsible for confirming the movement of the fifth team and ensuring that they take the bait."

Now.

"There has been movement in the fifth team." Jessica was wearing a headset, and the voice coming from her while moving at high speed was mixed with the sound of the wind.

"They moved toward our base, heavily armed and at top speed."

It's all within the plan so far...

Plan pass.
