Chapter 57 The Greenglass Family

After leaving Hogwarts, Weston went directly to the Magic Guild.

After such a long time, basically all wizards in the UK have been certified as wizards. Therefore, the Magic Guild is no longer as crowded as it was when it was first established.

Although there are not many people now, at least there is no need to wait in long lines. Most of the wizards coming and going are mercenaries. There are many people accepting and handing in tasks, and there are also some store owners.

There are tasks posted inside, and it looks like there are quite a few people there.

On the task board, Weston's task of purchasing moonstones is still hanging on it. There are quite a few mercenaries who have accepted the task, more than two hundred of them, but the status of the task still shows that it is not completed.

Speaking of which, Lucius came up with this mission panel. Although Lucius is nothing in terms of magical attainments, he is really a genius when it comes to business.

Under normal circumstances, the tasks posted by anyone will appear in the task manual in the guild hall. If a mercenary wants to take the task, he must slowly flip through the task manual. Later, Lucius proposed this task board.

As long as someone pays one thousand gold galleons, they can add their task to the task board for one day.

Although the price is expensive, there are still many people using it, and the number of task boards is very limited. So, Lucius also followed Weston's example and placed a bid, directly changing from paying one thousand gold galleons to the lowest price.

One thousand gold galleons.

What a shame, a big profiteer! When Weston heard the news, he was absolutely heartbroken, and he seemed to be trying to stand up for someone else's injustice - provided that you ignored the smile at the corner of his mouth and the share of money he quietly collected.

Seeing more and more businessmen coming in, Weston knew that they were about to bid for tomorrow's task board, so he didn't stop too much and walked straight upstairs, where there was a pure-blood family.

An office specially prepared for him.

Weston knew that someone would definitely notify someone of his arrival, so he didn't rush to notify anyone. He waited quietly in the office, playing with his magic war casually in his hands.

Sure enough, in less than five minutes, there was a knock on the office door.

Weston smiled slightly, sat up a little straighter, and said loudly: "Come in!"

"Haha, why don't you come and see me, our genius boy!" As soon as the door was pushed open, the iconic laughter of the Greengrass family owner came in.

"Mr. Greengrass..." Weston smiled and was about to say something when he was interrupted.

"Alas! I heard that guy Lucius said that you called him uncle. Why, can't you call me uncle?" The head of the Greengrass family said with a straight face, seemingly displeased.

"Well, it's my fault." Weston smiled slightly, "Then I'll go higher, Uncle Delingras!"

"That's right!" The head of the Greenglass family laughed heartily again, "What's the matter with coming to the guild today? If necessary, we will definitely help!"

Nonsense, who doesn’t know there is meat to eat by following Weston!

When these purebloods saw Weston, they were like cats that smelled something fishy. After all, whether it was the establishment of the Magic Guild or helping to promote the League of Legends, the purebloods had gained a lot of benefits. They couldn't wait for this.

Good things come more often.

"It's indeed a small matter!" Weston nodded, "I need to find some squibs, is this okay?"

"Don't worry, this is all a small matter!" The head of the Greengrass family was overjoyed and nodded simply, "When do you want it? I will arrange it directly!"

"Of course the sooner the better!" Weston nodded.

"Okay, I'll make the arrangements right away!" The head of the Greengrass family nodded, "Is it okay to arrange it directly at my home? Speaking of which, it seems that you haven't been to my home yet!"

"Well," the head of the Greengrass family thought for a moment and waved his hand, "you can just come to my house as a guest today, and you don't have to make an extra trip!"

"Isn't this bad?" Weston asked hesitantly. It didn't matter where he went. In fact, it was just a question.

"What's the matter? I think it's settled!" The head of the Greengrass family saw that Weston had no objection, so he settled the matter directly, then turned around and walked towards the door, walking as he did.

As he said, "I'll make arrangements for the Squib now, and I'll be back to take you there in a moment."

That's good! Weston thought to himself, otherwise there would be no place to sit with so many squibs, so this would save him some worry.

Sure enough, it is not easy for anyone to become the head of a pure-blood family. Even the seemingly generous head of the Greengrass family is a careful guy. You really can’t tell a person’s face!

The head of the Greengrass family came back soon. The two had a brief conversation and then walked out of the Magic Guild. There is a magic that restricts Apparition, so they cannot leave directly.

The Greengrass family's clan is not a large manor like the Malfoy family, nor a castle like Dracula's Castle, but a mountain village.

According to the head of the Greengrass family, the Greengrass family has lived here for generations, with the direct line living in the manor at the highest point of the mountain, and other collateral lines living here at will.

Even so, how could there be no competition in a family? The head of the Greengrass family didn't want to say it, and Weston didn't ask. He had no interest in any family struggle.

Looking at the manor in front of him, Weston looked at the head of the Greengrass family next to him with some surprise.

I saw an elegant yet exquisite mansion standing on the grass in front of me. Beautiful redbud flowers were planted all around. The mountain breeze blew gently, and the petals fell directly from the trees. The whole yard was filled with flowers.

Bathe in the world of flower petals.

It's beautiful and romantic! But it's not like the Greengrass family could do it. It's hard to imagine a bearded wizard serving flowers all day long.

Is it true that the UK is rumored to be a corrupt country?

Thinking of this, Weston couldn't help but quietly moved a few steps to the side, a little further away from the head of the Greengrass family.

The head of the Greengrass family didn't notice Weston's little move, and complained to Weston: "Look, my wife and daughters just like flowers and plants, and they make this yard look bad.

Isn’t it very unpleasant?”

"If you ask me, if you want to grow some fruits that can make wine, it would be much better than these. Look, these petals are everywhere, and they are of no use at all!"

The corner of Weston's mouth twitched slightly and he said nothing. He thought to himself, it seems that your idea is not much better.

"What do you think, Weston? Should you listen to me?" the head of the Greengrass family suddenly asked.

"Well, maybe..." Weston responded vaguely and quickly changed the subject, "Let's go in first, I seem a little hungry."

"Hungry? Then let's go in quickly!" Upon hearing that Weston was hungry, the Greengrass family owner stopped talking and walked a little faster...
