Chapter 38 The Great Gift

Seven is the most magical number, but it is also the number closest to misfortune. Whether it is the legendary creation of God, Lucifer's creation of hell, or the number of hell kings, etc., they are all related to this number.

Weston's wedding was originally planned to be after Christmas, but in the end he followed Nico's suggestion. After all, Nico was an accomplished astrologer. Although Weston didn't believe this, Fleur and the others were very fond of it.

Believing this, I went with them, and finally the wedding date was set for July 7th.

After everyone's discussion, the venue for the wedding was finally decided at St. Mungo's Hospital for Witchcraft and Wizardry in the UK. This proposal was made by Fleur.

Weston had been opposed to this location at first. He did not think that getting married in a hospital was pure. However, Fleur plausibly said that this was the place where they met, and it also represented death and rebirth.

The place is very meaningful.

Weston glanced at Fleur in surprise, and then at the others, expecting someone to stop Fleur from what he thought was a very stupid idea. To his surprise, everyone else had a blank look on their faces.

In agreement, Mrs. Delacour even shouted "What a great idea!"

Well, I know you can't count on the aesthetics of these wizards! Weston slapped his forehead, but it was too late. Everyone thought that Fleur was right, so he had to hold his nose and admit it, even though he still felt

strange.

On July 7th, the weather was a bit gloomy, and soon it began to rain continuously. This weather was a bit unfriendly. Weston thought about it for a moment, then waved his hand and used magic to force the weather.

The land scattered the entire rain cloud.

"You've become stronger again, Weston!" A strange, bloated-looking wizard with a beard laughed and said. From his tone, he seemed to be an acquaintance of Weston, which made him laugh.

The people around him couldn't help but look at him a few more times.

"Just a little bit." Weston said nonchalantly, "However, I didn't expect that you would appear here with this face. Logically speaking, you shouldn't be afraid of the Ministry of Magic?"

"Why would an elephant care about what the ants think?" The wizard waved his hand casually, "It's just that if there are too many, it will be annoying. I think you should be able to understand this feeling."

"Sorry, I don't have such thoughts." Weston shrugged, "Besides, no one seems to bother me!"

"I forgot that the entire British magical world is almost under your control!" The wizard smiled self-deprecatingly, "You are doing much better than me at this point!"

"You're not bad either!" Weston smiled, "Let's have a good chat when we have time. Today is not the right time to talk about this."

"Look at me, I always talk about these things when I see you. This is my fault." The wizard said apologetically, "I'd better go find Albus first."

"The professor is on the second floor, in Mr. and Mrs. Longbottom's ward, where Professor McGonagall and the others are." Weston smiled and nodded, letting the man leave on his own.

"I don't seem to have seen this wizard before. Why does he always give me a sense of danger?" Lucius squinted his eyes and murmured as he watched the wizard's disappearing figure.

"You must know him, believe me!" Weston said with a smile.

"I know you?" Lucius raised his eyebrows, and then seemed to think of something. He hesitated and asked, "You mean, Polyjuice Potion?"

"No, it's human transfiguration!" Weston shook his head, "According to his magical attainments, there is no need for such a thing as polyjuice potion. You also know that this kind of potion is poisonous. Only if you don't master the human body well,

Only wizards with the art of transfiguration can use it."

"Human Transfiguration?" Lucius looked at Weston in surprise, "I didn't know there was such a transformation master in the UK!"

"I didn't say he was British!" Weston said with a smile.

Seeing Lucius thinking hard, Weston stepped forward, patted him on the shoulder, and said with a smile: "Don't think about it, Uncle Lucius, the person who is friends with Dumbledore is still a foreigner."

Nico, you have met many people, and there are not many answers, right?"

"You mean, he is..." Lucius's eyes lit up and he looked at Weston in disbelief, but he did not say the name recklessly.

"Have you thought of it?" Weston asked with a smile.

Lucius nodded, looking in disbelief: "You actually know him? He even came to your wedding?"

"This is not a strange thing, is it?" Weston shrugged, "Moreover, the construction of the American guild was based on his influence, otherwise it would not have been so smooth! I think

, Uncle Lucius shouldn’t be able to find out all of these!”

"Sure enough, you are his heir!" Lucius's face calmed down instantly. It was obvious that he was just pretending.

"Is it really important?" Weston asked rhetorically.

"It really doesn't matter!" Lucius smiled slightly, "As long as it can bring benefits to the family, even if you are the real Dark Lord, so what?"

"I will not be the Dark Lord!" Weston smiled sarcastically, "Don't forget, if the Raven's Claw Plan can be implemented smoothly, then the entire magical world will be in our hands! Is such a benefit enough?

Where is it?"

"Of course, so, seven of our families have sent you a big gift for your wedding!" A flash of light flashed in Lucius's eyes, and he took out a piece of parchment from his arms, "This is jointly signed by seven of our families.

The contract, as long as you write your name, the contract will officially come into effect."

"Contract?" Weston looked at Lucius's smiling face, gently stretched out his hand, took the parchment, and looked at it carefully. His face was calm, but his heart was filled with turmoil.

What a "great gift"! Weston was secretly speechless.

The content of this contract is very simple, and there are only a few clauses. It can be summed up in one thing. Under the premise of ensuring the interests of the Seven Families, the Seven Families will always be Weston's affiliated families, no matter whether the Weston Family returns to another.

Build a family or remain in the Delacour family.

However, it can be considered a good thing, at least in Weston's view, it has nothing to do with himself.

"May I know why?" Weston looked at Lucius and asked his doubts.

"Because of Muggles!" Lucius did not hide anything and said frankly, "If I can't follow you closely now, I'm afraid there won't be a place for us in the future."

Even though Weston had overestimated Lucius, he still couldn't help but look at him deeply at this moment. This guy's eyes had always been so vicious.

Weston told them at the beginning that if all the Muggles turned into wizards, pure-blood families would benefit greatly. This was correct. However, he did not tell them that when the Muggles really poured in,

After entering the magic world, their status will not be as high as before.

It seems that the Seven Sacred Families must have realized this, so they made such a decision.

Weston looked at Lucius and secretly made a decision...
