Chapter VIII Departure

The father and daughter were muttering to each other, and they looked over at Weston from time to time, making Weston very uncomfortable. He didn't know what the other party was playing, but he just saw the man.

His eyes are getting brighter and brighter.

"Boy!" the man suddenly shouted to him, looking at him with bright eyes, "I can show you the way, and even take you out of the forest..."

Weston listened quietly, with a hint of vigilance in his eyes. He didn't believe that there was any free lunch in the world, and he was waiting for the man to put forward his conditions.

"But," as expected, the man put forward his own opinion, "If you want to leave with us, who knows if you are a spy in the human world!"

Can spies still come to the human world? Or have we arrived at the bottom of hell? Weston felt quite funny. This excuse couldn't be worse!

However, he didn't care about this, he just wanted to leave here.

"I can agree to your conditions, as long as you can leave here!" Weston waved his hand and said nonchalantly.

"That's good!" The man smiled and nodded. Weston did not ignore the man's quiet breath, but he just didn't care.

The three of them tidied up for a while, then left the cabin, drove a car pulled by a hell unicorn horse, and drove straight in one direction.

At first, Weston just sat quietly in the corner. Later, he felt a little bored, so he simply took out a magic book from his seamless stretch bag and read it with gusto.

"What are you looking at?" Along with a scent of fragrance, Sethia's voice suddenly rang in his ears.

"This?" Weston raised his head toward her and said with a smile, "It's just a magic book!"

"Are you a magician?" Sethia wrinkled her pretty nose and raised her eyebrows slightly.

"To be precise, I am a wizard!" Weston corrected him slightly and asked with a smile, "I thought I had made it obvious enough. After all, not everyone can feel your father.

It’s a magic barrier and a magic trap, isn’t it?”

"Okay, what you said makes sense!" Sethia hesitated for a while and asked in a low voice, "Can I take a look?"

"What?" Weston was stunned for a moment.

"If it's inconvenient, forget it!" Sethia quickly waved her hand, her pretty pink face turning red, "I know this request is really presumptuous, I'm sorry!"

"Sorry, I just didn't react!" Weston smiled, casually closed the magic book in his hand and handed it over.

"Did you lend it to me?" Sethia looked at the magic book handed over by Weston in disbelief.

"Of course, don't you want to see it?" Weston looked at her doubtfully.

"No, I want to see..." Sethia said quickly, then her pretty face turned red, she bit her lower lip gently, and said softly, "Thank you!"

"There's no need to be so polite, is there?" Weston smiled slightly and took out another magic book and read it without any care.

Seeing Weston's indifferent expression, Sethia just looked at him deeply, then walked to the other side of the carriage with the book in her arms and started reading with gusto.

Sethia's father looked at the exchange between the two, frowned slightly, and said nothing. He just looked at Weston several times, with an inexplicable meaning in his eyes.

——————

The carriage ran all morning, and at noon, the three of them stopped on their way, ready to take a short rest and have something to eat.

During the conversation, Weston also learned the man's name for the first time - Egg.

"Boy, you are different from the humans I have seen before!" Egg reached out and patted Weston on the shoulder, "I can see that you are kinder! For the sake of that book

Come on, I think I need to say a few words to you!"

"Say it!" Weston looked at him strangely and nodded with a smile.

"First of all, I want to remind you, kid, this is hell, not your human world. I think you need to know this!" Egg said lightly.

"I know!" Weston was stunned, then nodded.

"No, you don't know!" Egg shook his head, "In hell, knowledge is the most precious thing. No matter what kind of knowledge it is, as long as it is knowledge, it is the same!"

"If you don't want to cause trouble for yourself, be sure not to show your book!"

Weston listened to Egg's words quietly, and suddenly thought that Mostima and Dracula had said similar words to him. It seems that in hell, the most precious thing is knowledge!

It seems that this person is not bad? Weston thought to himself and nodded to Egg.

"Okay, Dad, let's talk about this when we have time!" Sethia said coquettishly, and then looked at Weston with a smile, "Come on, Weston, try the rice balls I made! There are other places.

But I can’t eat it!”

Oh? When Weston heard this, he immediately became interested. When he saw Sethia handing over a crystal-clear rice ball, the sweet smell made him drool a little more.

"Then you're welcome, thank you!" Weston thanked him with a smile, then took it, put the rice ball to his mouth, bit it lightly, and his eyes lit up.

As soon as the rice ball enters the mouth, a faint aroma unique to rice bursts out instantly. The slightly sweet feeling on the tongue makes the aroma even richer. When you bite it gently, a floral aroma slowly spreads.

Some are like the scent of Sophora japonica, but it has a more refreshing feeling than the scent of Sophora japonica.

Fragrant, sweet, glutinous, smooth... Weston couldn't help but speed up his eating. This kind of delicacy is really addictive at the moment!

Of course, when he was eating, he did not forget to give Sethia an appreciative look and a thumbs up.

Seeing this, Sethia smiled slightly.

Egg glanced at the exchange between the two and said nothing. He reached out for the third time and took out a rice ball from the lunch box. He opened his mouth wide and put the whole rice ball into his mouth, chewing it with big mouthfuls.

Seeing this, Weston frowned and bit faster. After swallowing, he quickly put half of the rice ball in his hand into his mouth. At the same time, he quickly reached out and picked up a rice ball with sharp eyes.

He also glanced at Egg.

Egg glanced at him indifferently, snorted coldly, swallowed hard, stretched out his big hand, and took two rice balls.

Hey? Provocative? Weston's eyes flashed sharply, and he looked at each other with Egg, as if lightning was passing back and forth in their eyes.

Sethia stared blankly at the two of them, holding a rice ball and eating it in small bites, looking at this and that from time to time...

Soon there was only one rice ball left. Weston looked at this rice ball, and Egg also looked at this rice ball. The two looked at each other again, and the atmosphere instantly became solemn...
