Chapter 49 Quantification (2)

"Weston, please go to the principal's office, Professor Dumbledore is looking for you!"

During breakfast, McGonagall walked to Weston and said to him.

Weston was a little confused, but he didn't ask any more questions and simply agreed.

It has been more than a month since the last meeting with Grigovitch. During this period, Weston did not immerse himself in research again, but rarely started to attend classes normally and teach students.

When research encounters a bottleneck, it does not mean that a breakthrough can be achieved. He is already mentally prepared for this.

Instead of struggling, it's better to relax for a while.

After breakfast, Weston came to the principal's office and saw Dumbledore holding a black wand and examining it.

This wand looks basically the same as other wands. The only slight difference is the shape. This wand does not look like other wands in the shape of a Western sword, but looks like a stick.

.

If it didn't have a handle, someone would probably believe it if it was said to be a stick.

"Ah, here you are, Weston!" Dumbledore saw Weston walking in and greeted him with a smile.

Weston nodded: "What do you want from me, Professor?"

"Come, sit down!" Dumbledore motioned for Weston to sit down, then put down the wand in his hand and pushed it in front of Weston, "What you want!"

"This is..." Weston picked up the wand and looked at Dumbledore with some confusion.

"Gregovich sent it!" Dumbledore simply reminded.

Weston was instantly surprised and shouted: "He did it?"

"I think, if nothing else, it is like this!" Dumbledore nodded with a smile and handed him the letter on the table.

"This is the letter that was sent together!"

Weston put down his wand and opened the letter.

In the letter, Grigovitch briefly talked about the materials of the wand, saying that he had completed the agreement with Weston, and the remaining material fee would be regarded as the cost of the production and would not be refunded. This made Weston

Some couldn't laugh or cry.

The letter also explains how to use this wand. Simply put, when you input magic power, different lights will appear on the wand, and the color of each light is roughly explained.

Unexpectedly, such a small object was actually made of snakewood! Weston looked at this special wand with some surprise, a look of surprise flashed in his eyes.

According to Grigovich, snakewood is the most sensitive to magic power, and only with special potions can it have such an effect. If you use other drugs, the result may not necessarily be the same.

The result is much better than nothing. This sentence was said by Grigovitch, and Weston believed it deeply!

Are they divided according to the colors of the rainbow? Weston looked at the wand in his hand with some curiosity, and started to input magic power out of curiosity.

Unexpectedly, as soon as I entered a little bit, the color of the wand changed. First it became white, then it started to change from white to red, then from red to orange... little by little, it finally changed.

It turned into a purple that was so rich that it was almost black.

This scene made Dumbledore a little surprised.

"What's going on?" Dumbledore couldn't help but ask.

Weston handed the letter to Dumbledore, and then took the initiative to cut off the supply of magic power. The color on the wand gradually dimmed and eventually turned black again.

"Is this the discoloration of the magic strength test that Gregorovitch said?" Dumbledore looked at this scene with slight surprise.

"Yes!" Weston nodded, acknowledging Dumbledore's words.

"Let me try it!" Dumbledore suggested with interest.

Weston was also interested in the strength of Dumbledore's magic, so he handed the wand to Dumbledore again.

Dumbledore took it and input the magic power. The wand began to change color again, and finally settled between blue and purple.

Dumbledore's face turned a little dark. He looked up and found that Weston was looking at his phoenix pet in a trance, as if he was deeply attracted.

"Haha, there's no need to look like this! I'm prepared!" Dumbledore smiled, "At least it proves that I still have a lot of room for improvement, doesn't it?"

Weston smiled and did not answer.

Dumbledore knew what kind of concerns Weston had, so he did not continue the topic, but sighed with some surprise: "It seems that this thing is indeed useful! The magical world's lack of understanding of itself should be addressed in the future

It won’t exist anymore!”

"No, that's not the case!" Weston shook his head, "Magic power can't explain anything, Professor. The strength of a wizard depends on too many aspects!"

"In my opinion, the strength of wizards still needs to be graded in detail. A wizard of any level should learn that level of magic. After promotion, he can learn the next level!"

"In this case, the students' education will not be as general and vague as it is now, and the wizards themselves will have a clearer understanding of themselves."

Dumbledore glanced at Weston, his face full of shock.

He had thought that Weston was playing a big game of chess, but he had never thought that Weston's idea was so big.

Just think about it and you will know that if it succeeds, Weston will definitely be one of the people with the most say in the entire magical world. By then, the Minister of Magic may not dare to do anything to him.

"Have you decided, Weston?" Dumbledore looked at him worriedly, "I hope you know what you are doing! I hope you know even more what you have chosen!"

"I understand, Professor!" Weston nodded, suddenly showing a sunny smile, "You will support me, won't you?"

"Of course!" Dumbledore looked at Weston with a smile on his face, "Why not?"

"That's enough!" Weston smiled, "Look, if you can support me, Nico will too, and I think those families in the UK will also..."

"No, Weston, I'm afraid you are wrong!" Dumbledore shook his head, "This is touching their control over the magical world. How can they help you?!"

"Believe me, Professor!" Weston smiled confidently, "They will!"

"Oh?" Dumbledore looked at Weston's mysterious look and smiled, "Then I'm looking forward to it!"

"Of course, just wait for my results!" Weston smiled confidently.

After Weston left, Dumbledore looked at his leaving back and sighed silently. He suddenly had a lot to say and wanted to find someone to talk to.

After thinking for a while, Dumbledore took out the parchment and quill and began to write a letter;

Dear Gellert…

Weston walked out of the principal's office, looked back, and a mysterious smile appeared on his lips.

You can't refuse me, Dumbledore! Weston thought to himself. Holding the wand to test his magic power, Weston went straight downstairs. The direction was...

Snape's office!
