Chapter 6 The Sleepless Weston

At night, Weston didn't know what was wrong. He tossed and turned in bed, but couldn't fall asleep. Feeling upset, he put on his clothes, walked out of the tree house, and came to the side of the lake.

The Veela tribe at night is less noisy and cooler than during the day. Under the bright moonlight, the lake is like a huge mirror, reflecting the entire starry sky.

Weston took a deep breath and walked slowly to the lake, greedily admiring the beautiful scenery and feeling much relieved.

"What, can't you sleep?" A clear voice sounded next to him.

Weston followed the source of the sound and saw that it was a Veela. He remembered that her name seemed to be - Katalin?

"Hello, Ms. Katalin!" Weston bowed slightly.

"Good evening!" Katalin nodded and asked with a smile, "Our room is indeed not as comfortable as a human room, please forgive me!"

"No, it's nothing!" Weston shook his head, "It's my own fault!"

"If you don't mind, can you tell me?" Katalin tilted her head, with a playful smile on her face, which made Weston's little heart beat twice quickly.

Weston had to admit that the beauty in front of him was really charming. Compared with her beautiful face, the moonlight at night seemed to be inferior by three points.

Weston said with certainty that this was not because of any enchanting magic, but simply because of his nature.

"Am I beautiful?" Katalin saw that Weston was silent and didn't mind, so she asked suddenly.

"Ah, of course!" Weston recovered, nodded, and said with a smile, "I think this is an obvious thing, isn't it?"

"So, am I beautiful or is Fleur beautiful?" Katalin asked immediately.

Weston said without hesitation: "Fleur is beautiful!"

"Tch, no!" Katalin curled her lips disdainfully, "Angelina even said that I am more beautiful than Fleur! You are lying!"

"No, it's not!" Weston shook his head and said seriously, "Maybe in appearance, Fleur is not as beautiful as you! But she is the one I love. In my eyes, she is naturally better than you.

So much more beautiful!”

Katalin stared at Weston for a long time, but Weston's face was always serious and smiling.

"Okay!" Katalin pouted, then chuckled, "You've passed the test, cunning boy!"

Weston shrugged and said nothing.

"I hope your love will get better and better!" Katalin said with a smile, "You have to keep an eye on her!"

"We don't need this! I believe her!" Weston responded with a smile.

"Okay, narcissistic little wizard!" Katalin rolled her eyes at him, "I don't know if you are smart or stupid!"

Weston spread his hands and smiled.

"Okay, the bloodline awakening ceremony is coming soon! I hope you will still be so confident then!" Katalin curled her lips in boredom and prepared to leave.

"Sorry, please wait!" Weston stopped Katalin and asked doubtfully, "What is the bloodline awakening ceremony?"

"You don't know?" Katalin looked at Weston doubtfully.

"Should I know?" Weston responded somewhat amusedly.

"Okay!" Katalin smiled helplessly, "Angelina must have forgotten to tell you."

"How should I put it?" Katalin thought for a moment, "You should know that Fleur has Veela blood, right?"

"Uh-huh!" Weston nodded and motioned for Katalin to continue.

"Haven't you ever wondered why Fleur doesn't have her own innate magic?" Katalin asked.

"You mean..." Katalin said this, and Weston remembered that until now, except for the Veela hybrid characteristics in her hair, Fleur really didn't have any trace of it in other places.

The same place as Veela.

Similar to the charm ability mentioned in the original work, I didn't feel it at all.

Originally, Weston thought it was because of his age, but after hearing what Katalin said, it seemed like it was something else?

Seeing Weston's thoughtful look, Katalin smiled and asked, "Remember?"

Weston nodded, hesitated, and then asked: "Does this have anything to do with the bloodline awakening you mentioned?"

"Of course!" Katalin nodded without hesitation, "Veela hybrids are different from Veela! If you are a Veela, you will automatically activate the power of your bloodline when you become an adult, but Veela hybrids are

Won't."

"If the Veela hybrid wants to activate the Veela's talent, a special magic ceremony must be held to use moonlight to activate the power in the blood. This is the bloodline awakening!"

"It's worth mentioning that only first-generation Veela hybrids and second-generation Veela hybrids can perform such a ceremony. After that, they can't!"

Katalin briefly explained the Veela bloodline awakening ritual, which made Weston stunned for a moment.

"In other words, after this magical ceremony, Fleur can gain the power of Veela?" Weston raised an eyebrow and asked.

"That's it!" Katalin nodded.

After hearing this, Weston's first thought was, how come this thing is similar to the blood successor limit in Naruto, and it is legal to cheat!

However, this is also a good thing! The power of Veela is not low, and it is also a kind of immortality. Maybe after Fleur awakens her bloodline, she can solve the problem of lifespan!

You know, after Weston himself became an immortal species, he had a headache for a while. After all, the Animagus of magical creatures are not that easy to learn. Even if Weston guided without reservation, there was no one in the Delacour family.

success.

Weston did not want to face a situation in the future when his family would grow old and he would still be young.

After knowing this news, I finally have hope. If Fleur solves the problem of lifespan, it means that Mr. Delacour is the only one in the Delacour family who needs to solve this difficult problem.

But it's much smaller.

Wait? Weston thought of a question, and his expression became uncertain again.

He just thought that Mrs. Delacour didn't seem to solve the problem of lifespan. In other words - was he thinking too much?

"Ms. Catalin," Weston decided to ask, "I would like to ask, do you know Mrs. Delacour?"

"You're talking about Apolline, little Fleur's mother, right?" Katalin asked uncertainly.

"Yes!" Weston nodded repeatedly, "Has Mrs. Delacour also held a bloodline awakening ceremony?"

"No, she didn't!" Katalin shook her head, "In the bloodline awakening ceremony, there is a relatively precious material. Now there is only one Veela left in the tribe. At the beginning, Apollin thought of leaving it to her own child.

.”

Okay! While Weston breathed a sigh of relief, he felt a little uncomfortable at the same time. The idea failed!

"Can you tell me what the material is?" Weston asked.

"Why do you ask this?" Katalin gave him a strange look.

"Nothing, I just want to ask!" Weston said half-jokingly and half-seriously, "After all, I still have to think about Gabrielle. If I find her, I don't have to worry about Gabrielle's materials.

Problem!"

"You are very thoughtful!" Katalin gave him a funny look, "But there is nothing I can't say! That kind of material is called moonstone. It is not illuminated by the sun, but only by the moon. The stone must be illuminated by the moon.

It took more than a thousand years to form such a piece."

Seeing Weston deep in thought, Katalin smiled slightly and left quietly.

When Weston woke up from his thoughts, he found that he was alone by the lake. He shook his head helplessly and walked back to the room.

After lying down, Weston discovered a sad thing - he couldn't sleep at all...
