Chapter 10 Trouble

After leaving the attic, Krabi never mentioned the previous topic again, and no matter how much Morses asked him, he got no answer.

This made Morses very uneasy. In his memory, Krabi always looked confident, never like today.

"It seems to be indeed a very important thing... Think about it, the old man has taught me too many things these days. Is this also one of the products of his urgency?" Morsis thought this way.

But after knowing exactly where he was, he also understood what he should do.

Ten days have passed by in a flash. During these days, Morsis is still practicing meditation hard, and while improving his mental power, he has begun to try to use a few basic spells.

Krabi compiled a magic book for him three days ago. According to him, it contains practical spells that can be used by third-level transcendental beings.

One morning in July, Morsis got up from bed early and prepared to go to the morning market to buy ingredients.

Lal fell ill with a cold yesterday, so he could only go to the market alone today.

"Well, it's not easy to move..." Thirty minutes later, Morsis walked out of the morning market, holding a heavy cloth bag in each hand, containing the ingredients he had just bought.

In the early morning, people are gradually appearing on the street one after another. They are basically residents of the slums, and they have to start a day's work in order to survive.

They would rush to several newly built factories nearby to work for those factory owners in exchange for a meager salary of ten tasok copper coins per week.

Carrying two cloth bags, Morris turned into an alley leading to the orphanage.

After taking a few steps, he felt something was not right. Although his mental power had not reached the level of a first-order transcendent, he was still capable of detecting the approach of ordinary people.

Four people are hiding in dilapidated houses on both sides of the alley!

Morsis frowned, stopped immediately, lowered his head and examined the bag carefully.

After about thirty seconds, he slapped his forehead regretfully and whispered, "Oh, I forgot that, I have to go back quickly!"

Just as he said this, Morse turned around slowly and was about to exit the alley and change the way back to the orphanage.

He was not at all curious about those guys hiding in the dark, especially in this atmosphere.

But as soon as he turned around, he saw a short-haired man wearing a black fur coat turning into the alley and stopping opposite him.

"Trey Mark..." Morsis read out the other party's name in his mind, and also knew what this group of people wanted to do.

A very common and boring robbery operation, low-level and boring, but very troublesome.

Morses is now considered half a first-order transcendent, not much different from the gangster leader standing opposite him. If he uses his mental power to fight against this group of people, he can easily escape from here.

But the problem is, he can't do that, he can't reveal his identity as a transcendental person at will, as that will make things more troublesome.

"Good morning, Mr. Mark." Morsis said first, greeting the gangster leader opposite.

Trey also grew up in a slum, but he yearned for upper-class people who lived in big houses and behaved elegantly.

So he usually tries his best to talk and act like a decent person, although he can't stay in that state for too long.

Therefore, this is an "elegant rogue", and you can please him by just prescribing the right medicine when talking to him.

"Would you like to take a walk on this beautiful morning?" Morse asked with a smile.

When Trey heard this, he raised the corners of his mouth slightly and replied, "Of course, the great Trey Mark's lifestyle must be full of poetry!"

"I doubt you know what poetry is..." Morse sneered, and then said, "Then I wish you a pleasant day. Goodbye, Mr. Mark."

After saying this, Morsis was about to cross Trey Mark and leave the alley.

But a hand was placed in front of him.

"Mr. Mark, do you have anything else to do?" Morsis tried his best to smile and looked at Trey, asking.

"Don't forget my profession, boy..." Trey's tone suddenly turned cold. At the same time, those guys hiding in the dark came over from the other end of the alley.

"I said, if you want money, I don't have it with me." Morse looked at Trey and said.

Although he appeared weak on the surface, he had already begun a calm analysis in his heart.

"Why? Trey and his men rarely take action against the people in the orphanage because he also knows that we don't have much money.

"With so many people, it is obvious that they are well prepared. Is it possible that he is just looking for trouble?

"It's possible. After being humiliated by the old man, that guy Trey must want to take revenge. He is probably squatting here today..."

"If you don't have money..." Trey glanced at the bag in Morse's hand and smiled, "Other things will do, too."

"I can't give you this." As soon as he finished speaking, Morsis suddenly turned around and ran towards the few people who had just gathered around.

"What a stupid kid, you actually escaped here." A gangster smiled and was about to catch Morses.

I saw him spreading his legs and preparing to step forward, and then he was hit in the head by a stone.

While running, Morses kicked up a stone at some point and hit the target.

"Use the incomplete floating spell to make these two bags lighter to achieve acceleration.

"Then use your mental power to guide the stone to hit that guy, and let that part of your mental power hit his mental body directly... That guy will probably think that the stone hit him too painfully, right?"

Just as Morsis was thinking about it, the gangster who was hit by the stone knelt down, covered his head, and said with a painful expression, "It hurts... What's going on?"

His companions laughed at him and then began to chase Morses.

"Three people, it's not easy to handle..." Morsis turned back and glanced at the three people behind him. There was only a few meters between them.

"Boy, stop!" The three guys shouted nonsense threats while running towards Morses.

Morses looked around and immediately locked onto a tall lamppost not far ahead.

It was originally used to illuminate this alley, but today, no one comes to this remote place to add lamp oil to it.

Morses immediately ran towards the lamppost.

"Ah!" When he just ran in front of the lamp post, he suddenly let out a scream, and then his feet slipped and he fell backwards on the lamp post.

After touching his back which had hit the pillar, Morsis quickly got up and found that the three men had already caught up with him.

"He's just a kid after all. He can't even run smoothly." The gangster in front showed a sinister smile and said, "Just accept your fate."

"Hey, be careful! You three idiots!" The voice of the gangster covering his head suddenly came, and his tone was very urgent.

"Creak... creak..." The sound of breaking wood reached the ears of the three people. They raised their heads blankly and saw that the tall lamp post had fallen towards them.

"Get out of the way!" I don't know who shouted, and the three of them immediately took a few steps back. The lamppost fell down and stopped in the middle of the alley.

"Where's that kid!?" After confirming that there was no danger, someone suddenly discovered that Morses had disappeared.

"Mr. Tremark is missing too!" someone shouted again.

The four people looked at each other, not knowing what to do for a moment.

"I'm so tired... I continue to use the simplified floating spell, plus the mental power I just used to break the lamppost, I'm almost reaching the limit." Morses quickly ran out of the alley from the other end, talking to himself.

He said, "Fortunately, that lamppost is not strong, otherwise I might not be able to break it."

"You're quite lucky..." Suddenly, a voice came into Morse's ears, and he quickly stopped and looked forward.

Trey Mark actually came in front of him and stopped him.

"My four men are really stupid. Although there is some luck on your part, I am still disappointed with their performance." Trey said with a smile, "Sure enough, in the end it still has to be done by the great Trey Mark himself.

Just take action."

"Hey, you're just robbing a sixteen-year-old child of his money. Where does your inexplicable sense of superiority come from!" Morses cursed, and then thought about how to escape.

"The opponent is a quasi-first-order transcendent of the fighter type. If you compete with him for speed, you will definitely not be a match. The trick you used to deal with those four idiots before will probably not work... If you use it directly against him, you might even discover his identity as a transcendent."

." Morsis thought for a while, but didn't find any good solution.

He sighed and decided to compromise and give the other party what he wanted.

"It's better than exposing the transcendental identity." Morses thought as he was about to compromise.

But he was suddenly startled, and then showed a confident smile.

"Hey, boy, what do you mean by that arrogant expression!" When Trey saw Morsis suddenly laughing, a burst of anger rose from the bottom of his heart, and he wanted to teach this ungrateful boy a lesson.

"Hey, Mr. Mark, what are you doing here?" Suddenly, a gentle voice came from behind him, and at the same time, a palm patted his shoulder.

"I...you..." Trey immediately lost his momentum. He slowly turned around and looked at Krabi who had come behind him at some unknown time.

"If nothing happens, can I ask you to leave?" Krabi looked at Trey's face and said slowly.

Although his voice was gentle, Trey felt an unspeakable sense of threat. So, the great Mr. Trey Mark chose a "tactical retreat."

"Wait for me, you bastard!" After walking away, Trey turned his head and shouted, seemingly unwillingly.

Seeing Trey gradually disappearing from sight, Morsis also breathed a sigh of relief and looked at Krabi.

"Let's go, haven't you had breakfast yet?" Krabi smiled, turned around and said as he walked.

"Well, I'm a little hungry." Morses also smiled and quickly followed Krabi towards the orphanage.

Salius Province, located in the northern part of the empire and close to the Tasok Sea, is the main area for trade between the Tasok Empire and the Singer Empire.

Its capital, Salius City, is known as the most prosperous city in the northern part of the empire and has the title of Northern Star.

Because it is close to the Tasok Sea, it is also an important place for commerce and diplomacy. Not only are there countless merchants here, but there are also many ambassadors from the main continent.

It can be said that this is an international metropolis that integrates multiple uses.

Early this morning, Lennon Sivens tidied up his appearance, rented a carriage, and headed to the "Lakas" prison located on the outskirts of Salius City.

This is the largest prison in the entire northern part of the empire, where heinous criminals from all over the world gather.

But in the world of the transcendent, there is another name.

"Transcendental Cemetery." Lennon opened the carriage door, looked at the black iron gate in front of him expressionlessly, and muttered softly.

Walking to the gate, Lennon stretched out his hand and tapped on the window of the security room.

"I'm looking for His Excellency Scola Corless." Lennon said to the doorman who stuck his head out. After a while, he added, "I am his invited guest."
