To be honest, I want to give up. There are too many restrictions. Do you have any inspiration or wonderful stories? Of course I do.
Some people are saying that the ending of the first volume of The Laughter is not as shocking as the original version. Do you believe me if I tell you that I have an ending that is a hundred times more shocking than the original version? But I can’t write it.
Of course, I am not the only one who suffers from limitations. They can still write good stories, but I am increasingly unable to do so, and it is mostly due to myself.
So I want to be an eunuch, partly because I am restricted and partly because I feel that the more I write, the worse it gets. But my hand can stop, but my heart cannot. The story will not disappear if I don’t write it. I will always write stories.

I have a very special feeling for this story, and there was even Laughter 2 in my original plan.
I rewrote a 17-year-old book in 20, and I definitely didn’t want it to die again. There are still many, many stories about Zhang Yichi and Mo Zhi, and there are still many, many readers waiting to read them, so the stories will continue.
The current 400,000-word length has just opened the main story line, and the excitement is yet to come.
Others can write good stories under limited circumstances, why can’t I?
