Chapter 12 Hero Name

Murdoc Hesser remembered the name in his heart.

During dinner, Heather did not mention Murdoc's name to the Bennett family. Sometimes it is not a good thing to know too much. He just told his aunt and his family that the night was not peaceful recently. It seemed that the Mexican gang and the Ontology gang came from somewhere.

A conflict occurs and is expected to last for some time.

Sure enough, the aunt was so frightened that she asked Claire and John not to go out at night, despite their protests.

Because he concealed the shooting incident, Peter was talked about by Uncle Ben and Aunt May all night, and he was in a daze during class the next day.

Ned and his group temporarily ceased their activities after many cases were discovered by the police. Ned himself tried to cause trouble with Peter and Heather several times, but they were all blocked by the football team's Lightning Flash.

De was also beaten twice by Flash.

Of course, Flash would bully Peter from time to time, but it wasn't Ned's kind of malicious bullying. Instead, he would punch Peter on the shoulder lightly when greeting others, or ask Peter to be his special cameraman when he bullied others.

(Of course Peter didn't agree and started yelling, so he got punched twice by Flash).

"In other words, Lightning Flash and you have known each other since childhood? Your relationship is not like a school bully VS a little transparent nerd, but more like Fat Tiger and Nobita in Doraemon."

At lunch, Heather teased Peter.

Peter shrugged his shoulders: "Flash is different from Ned. He is either bad or brainless. He gets emotional easily when he is ridiculed by me."

"You better watch your mouth. Nine times out of ten Flash Flash beats you because you broke his guard." Heather rolled up a few strands of spaghetti with a fork, the tomato sauce still on them.

There was a lot of residue on the plate that John licked. Midtown High School never surprises Heather when it comes to food, and her performance is as stable as ever.

At this time, a figure with a fragrant breeze sat across from Heather and Peter.

"Hi, good afternoon."

"Good afternoon, Gwen."

Gwen put a medium-sized lunch box on the table and frowned when she looked at their plates: "What you bought is Pizza Hut's tomato pasta? You can actually eat that?"

"Sister, this is the lunch that our Midtown High School is proud of, have you forgotten?" Peter swallowed a shriveled broccoli with difficulty.

Heather picked up a piece of something that couldn't tell whether it was a fried sausage or a thin shoe heel: "Want to try it? It's delicious on earth."

Gwen shook her head repeatedly: "Thank you for your kindness. I have been bringing my own lunch since the sixth grade. It is better for you to eat this delicious food on your own."

Since the shooting incident, Gwen and Heather have gradually become familiar with each other because they often come to see Peter.

Only then did Heather discover that Gwen Stacy, the Iceberg Goddess in the eyes of countless boys, was also a chatterbox, and her mouth was even more venomous than Peter's. Her usual Iceberg Goddess attitude was half a disguise and half her true attitude towards those boys.

, I don’t know why her attitude towards Heather is unexpectedly close.

The three chatty people got together and soon became close friends.

Although Gwen and Peter are not related by blood, Gwen has prided herself on being three months older than Peter since she was a child. She has always been in a repressive relationship between her sister and her younger brother. In addition, Peter's dream girl Mary Jane and Gwen are good friends, and Peter

He hopes that Gwen will speak good words for him, so whenever Gwen appears, Peter will automatically curb his gossiping nature, and then the scene will turn into a topic dispute between Heather and Gwen.

Today is no exception.

"It feels like there are more and more superheroes and supervillains these days."

Gwen opened the lunch box, and inside was a homemade lunch box with balanced nutrition and a lot of vegetarian dishes. Since Gwen's mother passed away, she would make her own lunch box every morning, and sometimes she would bring one to her father, George Stacey.

Heather stirred the noodles on the plate with a fork: "Isn't this normal? Since Captain America Steve Rogers dominated the battlefield 70 years ago, when superheroes appear, there will definitely be more super villains. Moreover,

The strength of a superhero determines the strength of the super criminal who confronts him. This is simply a cosmic truth.

.”

"That's not necessarily true. Does Iron Man have a corresponding super villain?"

"The punk girl in the shooting that day knocked Iron Man out of the sky with two shots. It was easier than Peter eating Bear cookies. If I were Iron Man, the first thing I would do after returning home would be to build a foundation for that punk girl.

I will research the corresponding countermeasures through the archives, and even develop a steel suit specifically to deal with her. I have already thought of the name - [Anti-Punk Girl Suit]."

Gwen disagreed: "It's really ugly. Tony Stark wouldn't use such an ugly name."

"If you want to say that the name is ugly, how can it be worse than the nickname Ghost Spider?" Heather rolled up a few noodles and put them in her mouth.

"Ghost, Ghost Spider is a good name. It sounds good, easy to remember, and catchy. What's wrong with it?" Gwen swallowed the sweet corn kernels in her mouth and said unconvinced.

"That little bug may have great fighting skills, but he's a complete novice when it comes to naming."

Heather raised the corners of her mouth and said unhurriedly:

"Ghost Spider positions herself as a good neighbor in New York City and takes a people-friendly approach, so she must not let her image be stained, nor let her image deviate from the general public's aesthetics and outlook.

Adults hope that superheroes can set a good example for their children, but look what the name of that little bug is? Ghost spider will make people subconsciously resist at the first time, thinking that this is a bad contact and action.

She's mysterious, like a giant spider waiting for prey in the dark. She might as well be called Spider-Woman (Spideroan), this name is at least more normal."

While Heather was talking, Gwen pursed her lips again and again. She wanted to refute several times but could not come up with any defensible reason. In the end, she could only stab the food in the lunch box with her fork sullenly. After a while,

After a while, he asked: "Then the ghost spider has no advantages?"

"Of course not. She does not receive a salary or ask for anything in return, and she fights against the dark side of New York City entirely on her own. Regarding this, I sincerely admire her. This is a person of noble character, and people can't help but admire her personality.

A lady impressed by her charm."

Hearing this, the corners of Gwen's mouth curled up slightly, and then she heard a 'but' pop out of Heather's mouth.

"...However, she must not be very happy in real life."

Gwen was not happy when she heard this: "You are making groundless speculations with no basis!"

"Think about it, Gwen. What woman can fly around New York City every day? She doesn't go to work? She doesn't take care of her family? She has no chores to do, no friends to see, no parties to attend?

How miserable must it be for a woman to have to devote her energy to being a masked man to do justice? I say she must... Huh? What's wrong with you?"

Gwen stood up angrily, closed the lunch box tightly, turned around and left: "I'm full, goodbye!"

Only then did Peter dare to speak: "She seems to be a fan of Ghost Spider?"

Heather smacked her lips with contentment: "I haven't talked about the financial source of Ghost Spider and the feasibility of advertising peripheral income. Peter, do you have any plans after school this afternoon?"

"I want to go to Dr. Connors. His project is about to have phased results. I want to participate in it as much as possible."

Peter's academic performance is second only to Heather, especially in physics and chemistry. He has been selected by Dr. Connors as an experimental assistant six months ago. This is why he often disappears after school.

"Well, you are also a busy person."

Heather nodded, it seemed like she was going to rent a house alone.

As he nears his graduation from high school, Heather plans to use the money he has saved from publishing to rent a small apartment in Queens. He is almost eighteen years old, and it is time to live independently without the care of relatives and friends.
