Chapter 41 Curry Rice and Thank You

Claude walked to the bar and looked at the ordinary-looking black-haired man behind the bar, who was slowly stirring the soup pot on the stove with a spoon, and the aroma of curry was constantly exuding from the pot.

Facing Tifa, his senior brother, Cloud's voice was cold: "Tifa said, can you help me find a place to live?"

"Yes, do you have any special requirements for the house?"

Heather replied without looking back. The spoon in her hand showed no signs of slowing down or speeding up, and she was still stirring the curry chicken in the soup pot at a steady speed.

Claude put his hands on the bar with a serious expression: "I will find a place to live by myself, you don't need to worry."

For Heather, Cloud felt an inexplicable sense of competition in his heart. He didn't want to use Heather's help to find a cheap and suitable place to live, especially when Tifa was interceding. Cloud thought he could do it alone.

.

"Really? Then go talk to Tifa. Whether she agrees or not, what she means is what I mean." Heather didn't even look back at Cloud.

In the distance, Barrett, Biggs and Weegee were already sitting on stools in the corner, watching the conversation between the two in silence.

Cloud frowned: "I don't need to tell Tifa myself. I just want you to give up finding a place for me. This will save you a lot of time, right?"

Heather stopped stirring the spoon in her hand, slowly turned back to look at Claude, and said with a half-smile: "Heh...boy, did you do something wrong?"

Claude jumped back suddenly, and at the same time put his right hand on the hilt of the giant sword behind him. He noticed the ferocious aura emanating from the black-haired man in front of him, which was enough to make him, a 1st special forces soldier, feel his scalp numb.

Terrible threat!

Heather knocked the spoon against the edge of the pot and put it into a bowl aside. She reached out to untie the apron behind her back and said slowly:

"You have just come to Qifan Street, and there may be many things you still don't understand. It doesn't matter. You have plenty of time to learn slowly. But please keep one thing in mind..."

His figure disappeared from the spot instantly, and even Claude was unable to capture his traces.

The next moment, a hand was placed on Claude's hand that was holding the sword hilt tightly, and he slowly pushed back the slightly drawn giant sword. Heather's voice also sounded in Claude's ears:

"As long as you are still in Qifan Street, you have to obey me. Now, all you need to do is to play the role of [an old friend from hometown reunited after a long separation] that can make Tifa happy. Do you understand?"

Claude's whole body was tense, and the muscles in his right arm holding the hilt of the sword were even more bulging. However, even with the powerful strength of a 1st warrior soaked in Mako, he was completely unable to compete with Heather's strange power. The giant sword behind his back was pressed hard.

go back.

For a moment, Cloud had the urge to swing his sword, but then he remembered that this man was Tifa's senior brother who had always taken care of him, and he was someone she valued.

We can't conflict with him for the time being, at least not in this bar, otherwise Tifa will be sad.

Claude smelled the aroma of curry rice, and his throat twitched unconsciously. Only then did he feel the emptiness and protest in his stomach. The strong hunger seemed to have been blocked by something before, and now it began to show its presence.

This unbearable feeling of hunger...How long has it been since he last eaten? Just when Claude was about to think about it carefully, his headache started to show signs of attack again.

Just as he was pressing his temples to relieve his headache, a steaming plate of curry rice was suddenly brought to him.

Claude looked up and found Heather's ordinary and annoying face.

"I'm treating you, let's eat. Of course, if you insist on paying, you can put it in the account first, and pay it back to me when you earn enough rent." Seemingly having figured out all of Claude's words, Heather put his

All possibilities of declining are blocked.

"……Thanks."

This time, Claude's 'thank you' was much more sincere. He hesitated for a moment, then took the plate and spoon, found an empty table nearby and sat down to eat.

After Tifa and Jesse walked out of the lounge, the latter immediately raised her hands and cheered when she smelled the smell of curry. She picked up a plate of curry rice from the bar and ate it without asking. I wonder if it was because Cloud was there too.

Because of being in the hall, Jesse eats much more dignifiedly than before, worthy of his background as an actor.

Tifa looked around and found Cloud sitting in the corner of the hall, eating. She couldn't help but look at Heather with a smile on her face.

Heather shrugged, as long as she was happy, that was more important than anything else.

That night, Heather lent the basement of the bar to Cloud for temporary accommodation. Heather and Tifa had made the basement warm and comfortable. There were not only beds and sofas for resting, but also spare drinking water and a TV.

Time soon came to 4 pm the next day, and everyone gathered at the gate of Seventh Heaven.

Barrett wears sunglasses and carries an arm-mounted rotating machine gun in his right hand; Jesse wears a red headband, a metal breastplate that highlights his body, loose sweatpants, and several grenades hanging on his waist; Biggs and

Weiji also wore a red headband and a simple combat uniform that was easy to move around.

Claude still looked the same, but his energy was much better than the first day.

The Avalanche Organization's [Shinra Collapse Plan] has officially begun!
