Extra 7: The transaction between Jinchi and Black Bear

It is said that it is one hundred and eight thousand miles from the east to the west. If it were not for the dragon horse that the little white dragon Ao Lie turned into, even if the monk Tang rode a mortal horse to travel two hundred miles in one day, it would still take five to six thousand days to travel one hundred and eight thousand miles.

, Xiao Jiang didn't want to be delayed like this, so he planned to make Tang Sanzang's Buddhist scripture study easy and enjoyable, and rushed to Lingshan as quickly as possible to facilitate business.

The two met, Tang Monk rode a white horse in front, and Xiao Jiang followed behind on a white cow. If the Bull Demon King saw the scene in front of him, he would definitely cover his face and run away, because the white cow was Niu Xiangxiang, the sister of the Bull Demon King.

Xiao Jiang has more than one mount, Niu Xiangxiang, but Niu Xiangxiang is the most suitable in this world. Accompanying Tang Monk to learn scriptures, what does it look like to have him, a Bodhisattva, follow him when he walks? You must know that even if Jin Chanzi becomes a Buddha, his status will not be higher.

Xiao Jiang’s Bodhisattva status.

A horse and an ox headed west. Little monsters and little monsters dared to come out along the way. However, Ban Yue and the two of them had already arrived near Heifeng Ridge. From the horseback, Tang Monk looked at the foothills ahead and shouted:

"Guardian Sun, there is a temple ahead. Let's go and place orders and rest for the night."

Xiao Jiang glanced in front and nodded:

"Elder Tang has arranged it, but remember not to tell me that I am the protector of Lingshan."

Tang Monk happily rode his horse to the temple gate. A young monk in gray robe came forward. Tang Monk turned over and dismounted from his horse and saluted:

"This novice monk, please tell the master of your monastery and tell him that Tripitaka Monk from the Tang Dynasty in the East has come to check in and rest for the night. He will continue his journey tomorrow and will not disturb other people in the monastery."

Xiao Jiang patted the cow's head from behind and stopped. When the little novice left, he directly put away the cow Xiangxiang and looked at the four characters Guanyin Chan Yuan on the courtyard door and said:

"Master Sanzang, the environment here is nice."

Tang Monk nodded and said:

"Yes, the beautiful scenery here must be home to outstanding people. Seeing that the great merciful Bodhisattva is enshrined here, I believe the monks here must also be great benevolent people."

Xiao Jiang smiled nonchalantly. He looked inside the courtyard gate and saw an elderly monk wearing cassocks leading a group of monks out. When he got close, the old monk clasped his hands and said:

"A holy monk from the Tang Dynasty has come to our temple. Jinchi is polite. Please come in."

Tang Monk politely let Jin Chi go first, and Xiao Jiang followed him in like an ordinary follower. When they arrived at the Zen courtyard, Tang Monk and Jin Chi went to the temple to chat, while Xiao Jiang went directly to the Zen room in the backyard.

Along the way, Xiao Jiang did not go too far. Tang Monk was a vegetarian. If he didn't have anything to eat, Xiao Jiang would help him find some fruit. As for Xiao Jiang himself, according to him, the poor monk would do anything if he did not abstain from sexual intercourse, meat and fish, or killing.

If he doesn’t quit, if the West wants him to take a dharma title, he must refuse to quit.

Xiao Jiang ate meat and drank wine, but always distanced himself from Tang Seng. Tang Seng was very grateful for this, but he never expected that Xiao Jiang didn't care about him at all, and he only followed him to deal with Lingshan Tathagata.

Just like now, he was drinking wine and gnawing pig's trotters in the Zen room. As long as Tang Monk was not in danger of death, he would not go with him.

"Ding dong, the system sub-task system has issued a task to prevent the black bear spirit from stealing the Jinlan cassock. The task is worth one million points."

What a coincidence, just as he finished eating and wiped his mouth to take a rest, the system prompt sounded. Xiao Jiang squinted his eyes and thought for a while and whispered:

"It seems that this system mission is a bit interesting. It's a pity that I have cleared away all the big monsters along the way. Otherwise, I would have gotten a lot of missions from the disaster along the way."

Xiao Jiang regretted that he had acted too quickly before. He had already secretly dealt with all the big demons who had no backstage along the way, which caused him to lose a lot of mission value.

As night fell, because there was no normal Sun Wukong to cause trouble, Tang Seng was cautious. No matter how much Elder Jinchi despised Dong Tu Wubao, he did not pretend to do so. However, Jinchi was a greedy person, and he always felt that Tang Seng had something good in him.

In the Jinchi Zen Room, the old monk was walking back and forth in the room. Suddenly, a gust of black wind blew in from the window. However, the old monk was used to moving and said without any surprise:

"Old Hei, what's the matter?"

As the black wind stopped, a black-faced man showed himself, and he bared his teeth and said with a smile:

"Lao Jin, Xiao Bai said that you can practice the Yin and Yang Pill the day after tomorrow. If you have something good, I can exchange my pill for you. You must know that the pills in the past were very average. This pill is of better quality this time.

, it can extend your life for at least three hundred years, and when we get some elixir in the future, it will naturally allow you to achieve fruition."

Upon hearing this, Elder Jinchi's face lit up with joy and then he lost his mind and said:

"You have seen everything I have here, what can I exchange for your elixir?"

This big black man is the black bear spirit from Heifengling. He sat down and poured a cup of tea by himself, took a sip and said:

"Those treasures of yours are meaningless to me, and giving them all to me is not even worth a single elixir. It seems that you have no connection with this elixir."

Elder Jinchi has lived for more than two hundred years. Because of his friendship with the black bear spirit, he used some elixirs to survive for such a long time. Now his body is aging. If there is no elixir to extend his life, no one is sure how many years he can live.

Thinking of the elixir in the hands of the black bear spirit, Elder Jinchi was very excited, but the black bear spirit no longer looked down on his treasures. Jinchi was extremely tangled in his heart. Suddenly he thought of Tang Monk and couldn't help but said with joy on his face:

"Old Hei, please wait here for a moment, I may not be able to get the treasure you want."

The black bear spirit pouted and said:

"The treasure is there as long as it exists. Could it be that there is a secret treasure in your Guanyin Temple?"

Elder Jinchi smiled and said:

"Don't say it, don't say it. Just wait here for a while. If you are lucky, you can get the baby."

The black bear spirit nodded and said:

"I'll drink tea and wait for you here."

Elder Jinchi trembled and left the Zen room. Xiao Jiang, who was sitting at the table in the side room and drinking tea, suddenly looked at Tang Monk who was chanting sutras with his eyes closed and said:

"Master Sanzang, what do you think of the people in Guanyin Temple?"

The rosary beads in Tang Monk's hand slowly stopped, he opened his eyes and said with a smile:

"It's very enthusiastic. It's just that the owner here likes to collect treasures, which is somewhat inconsistent with our nature as monks."

Xiao Jiang said:

"You said before that the master of the hospital always asks you if you have any treasures. Although you didn't mention the things you have on you, what do you think he would do if he was thinking about your treasures?"

Tang Seng was stunned for a while. Although he had little social experience, it did not mean that he was stupid. Being able to comprehend so many Buddhist scriptures proved that his comprehension ability was very high.

Hearing Xiao Jiang's words, he couldn't help but feel something in his heart. He frowned and said:

"That's not the case. Monks who worship Bodhisattva should not act recklessly even if they are curious. Otherwise, what's the point of practicing the precepts?"

Xiao Jiang looked outside and said with a smile:

"The woods are big and there are all kinds of birds. Master Tripitaka, you have a good heart, but you can't think that everyone is good, otherwise you will suffer a loss."
