Chapter 1315? Another line

Back in time, when Su Ming and Carol were eating at Mrs. Lee's fast food restaurant, the camera turned to Steve and Bucky in New York City.

Near dawn, Dr. Pym, whom they were protecting, received an ultra-long-distance sniper assassination. While Pym and Janet were sleeping soundly, a bullet passed through the glass of their home and hit Dr. Pym.

On the bed between the two of them.

The noise and flying sawdust woke up Ant-Man and the Wasp, as did Steve and Bucky on the rooftop across the street.

But they were only happy that the shot did not hit any of the protected targets. Maybe the enemy a thousand meters away did not calculate the wind speed, or maybe the glass deflected the bullet. At least they still had a chance.

Steve immediately jumped across the street and came to Dr. Pym's window, holding a shield and facing the direction of the bullet.

Bucky went after him. Although there was little hope, he still wanted to see if there were any clues.

Pim, who was drowsily asleep, jumped up and put on his clothes. Although he was awakened from his dream, when he saw the man standing in the courtyard outside the window, he immediately felt relieved.

The stars and stripes uniform can be seen clearly in the moonlight, not to mention the special shield.

"Captain? Is that you? I mean the real one, not a clone created by the military."

"It's me, Hank. You were only a teenager when I last saw you." Steve still remained alert, staring at the dark night sky: "I'm here to advise you today to close the curtains when you go to bed."

"You...oh, no, don't say you were outside our window all the time." Pim scratched his hair: "Then Janet and I..."

"I didn't watch the scene where you and your wife were making out, and I also stopped Bucky from peeking in." Steve replied with an upright face. He didn't bother to peek into other people's privacy: "You can trust me."

And Pim covered his face: "Even Sergeant Bucky is here... By the way, why did you come to me first when you returned to the United States?"

"Fury told me you've been in a bit of trouble recently." Steve saw Bucky running away on a series of rooftops. He seemed to be flying and could move by stepping on the air. He couldn't help but shrugged: "I'm keeping safe now."

If you open the window, come here carefully, close the curtains, and check the bullets on the bedside."

"Okay, Captain." Pim didn't care whether last night's activities were watched by the two old men. He was willing to listen to the Captain.

Under Janet's dissatisfied gaze, he did exactly what Steve asked.

After he closed the curtains, Janet put on her uniform, turned into a wasp and pulled out the flat bullet from the hole of the gun.

She handed it into her husband's hand and shook her head: "The bullet is deformed, there's nothing visible about it."

Pym put the bullet on the table, put on the Ant-Man uniform himself, shrunk countless times, and examined the bullet from a more microscopic level.

However, after more than ten seconds, he returned to normal size, took off his helmet, and looked solemn.

"I have never seen such rifling marks. It looks like a trebuchet. The bullet does not even rotate during the firing process, but flies straight over at an extremely high speed."

Janet thought for a while and asked tentatively: "So the one who assassinated us... was an air gun used to shoot balloons in the park?"

"It would be great if it was really an air gun. You saw it just now, Sergeant Bucky went to chase the enemy, and the captain's eyes were obviously looking at a distant place." Pim's brain is sometimes very useful, he rubbed it

Rubbing his hands: "The range of this air gun is at least one kilometer. I have never seen such a weapon."

"Where are the bullet materials?" Janet asked again. Pim was a scientist, so he might be able to tell something from this aspect.

"It's an ordinary copper alloy. It's so common. Even every military industrial company in the United States is producing this kind of warhead." Pim walked to the window and explained to Janet and Steve: "The gun is very

Special, but bullets are not special."

I just heard the captain outside the window say: "Is the basement of your home the safest? I know you scientists like to modify the basement the most. Go hide there. Bucky and I will meet you later. Remember to grab a gun."

"Okay, Captain."

Pim agreed again. Although he didn't carry a gun to work, as an American, he always had a few guns at home.

He casually grabbed a handful, another box of bullets, and pulled the Wasp into the basement.

Janet was even more dissatisfied. When she got to the basement, she shook off Pim's hand and poked him in the head with her finger: "What are you hiding from? I ask you, what are you hiding from? We all have uniforms and super powers. You don't want to give it to the captain?"

You don’t even want to help me, but you take me to hide? How embarrassing!”

Only then did Pim realize, yes, he and his wife are Ant-Man and the Wasp, and they are also superheroes.

Someone came to assassinate the two of me, so I should go out and investigate the matter together.

He grabbed Janet's hand, put it to his mouth and kissed it: "It's my fault, seeing the captain makes me feel like I have returned to the old days decades ago. At that time, I had nothing and was just an ordinary science kid.

"

Janet pursed her lips, feeling a little resentful that iron could not become steel, but she still accepted Pym's explanation. After all, it was correct. SHIELD scientists were too used to hiding behind the captain.

This is a tradition that has been developed since World War II.

She looked around Pim's messy laboratory. Here were either glass boxes used to raise ants or various bottles and jars.

Janet picked up a new, unused notebook and walked outside: "Let's go out to find the captain."

"Okay, okay, I can indeed help the captain now." Pim smiled and nodded, somewhat enthusiastically: "But what are you doing with your notebook and pen?"

"I want the captain to sign a few autographs for me." Janet suddenly smiled brightly, holding the notebook and pen in front of her chest and twisting her body: "I have admired the captain since I was a child. The real captain is not the fake ones on the street.

."

The corner of Pim's mouth twitched, and the top of his head felt itchy for some unknown reason.

The two walked out of the basement again and walked around to the courtyard through the back door. Steve was circling the courtyard, checking for signs of anyone sneaking in, and waiting for Bucky to come back. However, except for the many ant holes under the lawn, there was nothing about him.

None were found.

He wasn't surprised to see Ant-Man and the Wasp, because Fury had already given him their information.

But in Steve's view, these two people who had never experienced war or been on the battlefield could only be regarded as vigilantes, not soldiers.

They shouldn't have come out.

"Hank, take your wife back to the basement. It's not safe outside."

"Oh." Pim agreed and planned to leave, but Janet stepped on him secretly with her high-heeled boots, waking him up from his blindness to Captain America: "Hiss! No, Captain, we stay.

Come down and help you. If the enemy is here to assassinate us, maybe I can find something."

Steve glanced at Pim, but he thought the thing that looked like an astronaut's helmet was strange, and he didn't feel that the two men had any fighting ability at all.

But they insist on looking for clues. This is still their home, so just do as they say.

Anyway, if the enemy lurking in the dark only has a sniper rifle, then Steve believes that he can spend a whole day with the enemy.
