Chapter 15 The Mad Child Reporter

As for what kind of chaos Gotham will become after the live broadcast is cut off, Su Ming is not considering it at all. If the chaos can really attract bats, that would be the best.

He picked up Barbara next to him, put her in a wheelchair and pushed her into the carriage.

"You performed well. You have the talent to be a female anchor."

Wei Ke secretly curled his lips next to him, does being able to act mean he can be a female anchor? It takes a lot of hard work for him to do this business, such as makeup, etiquette, and all kinds of knowledge. It is very hard for him.

Barbara was shivering with cold, and the rain soaked her completely, but her pale lips trembled as she spoke.

"As long as we do this, will my dad be safe?"

Su Ming signaled Wei Ke and Peter to get in the car. They were kidnapped. Seeing the two reluctantly getting up, Cindy started the car.

"I'm not sure, but using my name to threaten can at least buy your father some time." Su Ming searched in the carriage and found a towel, which he handed to Barbara.

"Because this will increase the kidnappers' concerns. If they think about the consequences of angering Deathstroke, then they will think twice about the methods they originally planned to use on Director Gordon and weigh the gains and losses. What we want is this time."

Cindy was driving the car and stepped on the accelerator to the bottom. Her extraordinary reflexes allowed her to drive effortlessly. She even had time to participate in the conversation between Su Ming and Barbara.

Barbara nodded and looked at Su Ming gratefully.

"Thank you, you are a good person."

"Forget about the good guy card. I'll give him the bill when I rescue Gordon." Su Ming immediately shook his head and refused. The good guy card or something is too unlucky.

"Haha, you really don't look like a killer, you can still joke."

Su Ming's words were regarded as a joke, and Barbara finally relaxed. She felt so tired, but now she had some backbone. The title of the world's strongest mercenary gave her more confidence in Gordon's safety.

Wei Ke sat across from him quietly, looking at the two of them, feeling that the end of the world was definitely coming.

The world-famous murderer was actually talking and laughing with the daughter of the Gotham Police Chief, and even staged an inexplicable fake death live broadcast, which made Wei Ke feel that the world was too crazy.

And it sounds like Deathstroke was on his way to rescue Commissioner Gordon at this time, and he offered a reward of 2 million just to keep Gordon alive.

"Killing someone to save another person is the most illogical thing I have ever heard but it seems logical."

After thinking again and again, Wei Ke took the initiative to talk to Su Ming, regardless of the dissuasion from Peter's eyes.

Su Ming looked at her. She didn't appear in the whole show just now. Maybe the TV station thought she was dead now? But the occupational disease relapsed so quickly, have you forgotten the fear?

"Killing one person to save another is the way of balance. I am doing what I should do."

He took off his helmet. The car was a little warmer, and the moisture condensed in the helmet, like a steamer. He had never considered that the uniform was so uncomfortable to wear.

Although Vera was also shocked by his male identity, but only for a moment, she still asked dedicatedly: "So do you think you are a psychopath? Mr. Deathstroke, have you ever felt that there is something abnormal about you?"

Peter next to her opened his eyes wide, this is a proposition!

Su Ming was somewhat interested because she had asked Batman this question in other worlds.

"So do you think this world is normal?" He had read the comics and directly gave the standard answer, which was a rhetorical question.

Sure enough, this answer made Wei Ke thoughtful, she frowned and stopped talking.

Peter breathed a sigh of relief, MD, I will definitely resign this time when I go back, no matter how much I pay, it’s too exciting.

Cindy, who was driving, also heard Su Ming's theory about balance. She didn't know that he was talking nonsense. Instead, she thought it was very philosophical, like the proverbs from ancient Eastern countries.

The car drove quickly in the heavy rain, passing through the streets and alleys, and they encountered some robbers or road bullies who came out to hunt for prey during the storm. But as long as Cindy poked her head out of the car window, all the gangsters

They were all scared to shit.

After such a long period of relaxation on the road, Wei Ke was no longer afraid. She found that Deathstroke was not as crazy as the rumors, but had his own understanding and unique knowledge of the world.

Seeing the gangsters who blocked the road running away, she sighed in disappointment. If Deathstroke fought with them, maybe she could shoot a little Easter egg or something.

"You seem a little disappointed? Do you like to see killings?" Su Ming was keenly aware of her secret sigh.

"No, it's not." Wei Ke shook his head: "I just want to shoot some fighting scenes, the audience will love to see them."

"Well, since you want to take pictures, if we find clues about the gang that kidnapped Gordon later, you can take pictures when we go to kill them in their lair, as long as the strong man next to you doesn't vomit."

Su Ming offered to give her some compensation. After all, she is DC's lucky star, so she shouldn't offend her too much. But for Pete next to her, just seeing a strong man who is over 1.9 meters tall and squirming makes him look like a girl.

, Su Ming is enough.

"Great! He'll be fine...right, Pete?!"

In Wei Ke's majestic eyes, the strong man agreed with a slightly troubled expression. Seeing Su Ming turn his head, he felt like vomiting.

Wei Ke nodded with satisfaction, and she took the initiative to squeeze in between Barbara and Su Ming.

"Thank you. If that happens, I have another exclusive news!"

"It's just mutual benefit. We mercenaries sometimes need some advertising. Television is a good platform."

If there is a future in this world, Su Ming wouldn't mind doing some business for himself or Cindy.

Wei Ke's eyes lit up, he took out a small book from his pocket, opened it, and pretended to be interviewed, which made Su Ming dumbfounded.

"I thought you were a TV reporter."

"TV stations can also use pens to record it. So, Mr. Deathstroke, could you please reveal your relationship with the other Deathstroke who was driving? Or is it that you are not actually Deathstroke, but she is?"

Cindy let out a proud laugh. Look, everyone thought she was the real deal, but Su Ming was more like a killing version of a bat.

Su Ming sighed. He just didn't want to kill innocent people indiscriminately. He pulled out the knife from behind: "It would be better to kill you all..."

"No!!!"

"I'm kidding you. Batgirl likes you very much. All the lunatics in the city are your fans. Maybe Jester is reading your news reports every day in Arkham." Su Ming put the knife back again and said indiscriminately.

Killing is not his style.

When it came to Batwoman, Vicki became more enthusiastic. She rolled her eyes, curious.

"Oh? Really? But why didn't she come to me? If I leave my address and mobile phone number, can you help me forward it to her? I want to give her an exclusive interview."

"Who are you talking about? The Bat or the Fool?"

"Anything is fine." Wei Ke put on a hungry expression that would welcome anyone who came, and licked his lips, just like the middle-aged uncles who told dirty jokes in Su Ming's previous world.

"You woman are so crazy, are there any normal people in this city?" Su Ming was angry and funny.

The carriage was filled with a joyful atmosphere, except for Barbara who didn't know what to make of her expression. As soon as the topic of Rigoletto came up, she felt her lower back began to hurt again.
