The plane takes off, inside the first class cabin.
Cobb looked down at his hands: a small bottle was taped to the palm of his hand.
He unscrewed the bottle cap. The airplane seat indicator light suddenly dimmed. Cobb unbuckled the safety buckle and stood up.
Cobb: "Excuse me?"
Fischer looked up: "What's going on?"
Cobb: "I think this is yours."
Cobb said, holding up the open passport book and comparing the passport photo with Fishel. Fishel reached into his pocket, and Cobb handed the passport book to Fishel.
The flight attendant came and asked, "What would you like to drink, gentlemen?"
Both chose water.
Fisher smiled at Cobb and took his passport: "Thank you."
Cobb smiled and said: "You're welcome. Look, I still noticed your name. You don't have anything to do with Maurice Fisher, do you?"
Fisher paused for a moment and looked at Cobb without seeming to have any ill intentions.
Fisher said: "Actually, he is my father."
Cobb said: "I'm sorry for the passing of your father. He was an inspiring figure."
The flight attendant brought them water, and Cobb took it and thanked the flight attendant.
When he turned to Fischer, he lowered his right hand and handed Fischer the water. It was obvious that a drop of liquid dripped into Fischer's cup.
Cobb smiled: "For Maurice Fisher, may he rest in peace."
Fisher smiled.
The huge plane soared into the sky, inside the first class cabin.
Cobb reached for the blanket above his head and deliberately let the blanket fall on Fisher's head. Fisher did not dodge because he fell asleep. Cobb greeted everyone, and the first flight attendant opened a box in the aisle of the plane and then left.
After closing the curtains, Arthur walked up the aisle and took out the box containing the mechanical device.
Cobb and Arthur opened the mechanism, untied the tubes, and wound the tubes to every position around the window. Arthur rolled up Fish's cuffs and pushed the needle into Fish's wrist. Arthur put Fish down
Fischer's cuffs and the tube hidden under the armrest of Fischer's seat.
Arthur connected another tube to Linnie who was nearby. Cobb placed the box on Yusuf's lap. Yusuf checked the time device and tapped the syringe. The others leaned on their positions.
Yusuf pressed a button, closed the box, placed it at his feet, and lay back.
The scene turned, and what appeared on the big screen was a scene of Cobb driving. The camera moved backwards, with Li Teng and Arthur sitting in the back seat. It was raining heavily outside, and Cobb suddenly stopped the car. Yusuf was standing on the street corner.
, holding a silver suitcase in his hand, his collar turned open to protect him from the rain. He reached for the car door.
Yusuf climbed into the back seat and wiped the rain off his face.
Arthur pointed at the rain and said, "Can't you go pee before coming down?"
Yusuf: "Sorry."
The front door opened and Ames climbed in, soaking wet.
Ames said, "Drinking too much free champagne before takeoff, Yusuf?"
"At least we know with this weather, he must be looking for a taxi."
Cobb pulled into traffic, passed several cars, and followed closely behind a yellow taxi.
Cobb asked everyone to fasten their seat belts, then stepped on the accelerator, and the front of the car hit the back of the taxi. The taxi driver got out of the car angrily, and walked towards Cobb's window. The taxi driver cursed: "
Hey, bastard! What kind of car are you driving?"
But the next moment, it stopped abruptly, because he saw Cobb pointing a silent pistol at him.
The taxi driver backed away, Arthur got into the taxi, and both cars sped off.
Arthur slowed down in front of the train station and looked at the pedestrians coming and going. He saw Fischer and turned on the taxi light. Fischer waved the taxi to stop. Fischer jumped in
Backseat, wipe the rain off your shoulders.
"Third and Market Avenue, hurry," Fisher said.
Suddenly Ames jumped into the car from the other side.
Fischer looked stunned: "What do you want to do?"
Ames apologized: "Sorry, I thought the bus was empty. Maybe we could carpool."
Fisher refused: "Maybe not."
Li Teng sat in the front passenger seat with a gun in his hand.
Fischer took one look and immediately gave in: "Great."
As Arthur sped off, Fisher took out his wallet and tossed it to Eames.
Fisher said contemptuously: "There are five hundred dollars in it, and this wallet is worth more than that. For this reason, you should at least let me get off the car when I get there."
Ames smiled back.
Suddenly a bullet shattered the car window on Ames' head, and another bullet shattered the window on Li Teng's side@
Eames: "Let's get out of here!"
Arthur stepped on the gas, but a black sport utility vehicle braked in front of him, blocking the way. A block later, Cobb was waiting at a traffic light when Linnie got into the front seat. Cobb had heard the gunfire.
!
He hurriedly said: "Hurry up!"
He looked at the place where he was ambushed in front of him, increased the accelerator, and the private car moved forward quickly... But with a bang, a freight train hit the front of the private car, and the carriages that kept following passed pushed the car aside.
This created a wall-like barrier between Cobb and the previous ambush. Another SUV appeared behind the taxi, and some plainclothes guards crossed the traffic light and opened fire on the taxi.
Ames quickly pounced on Fischer, just as the bullet shot into the taxi. At the same time, he put a bag over Fischer's head.
Lin Ni sat in the private car and watched the train pass by: "This is not in my design!"
Cobb reversed the car, turned around, and drove towards the back of the train!
A guard appears in front of the SUV, automatic rifle in hand.
He crossed the train, walked to the taxi, then raised his gun and fired violently at the taxi window.
Cobb finally drove to the end of the train, and then quickly crossed the tracks. Arthur crouched down, pressed the accelerator with his hand, turned the steering wheel, and the car sped back. The taxi knocked down the guard who fired the gun, and at the same time hit
The car hit the front of the sport utility vehicle and Cobb slammed into the back of the sport utility vehicle, creating a gap.

"Zigzag turn, driving along the roadside, Cobb chased another car. Arthur was panting, raindrops hitting his face.
Arthur: "Is everyone okay? Li Teng?"
Arthur looked at Li Teng. Li Teng's hand touched his abdomen, which was covered with blood.
Obviously, he was shot!
Many people watching this scene were a little confused. This was obviously in a dream, but why were they attacked?
The scene switched again. This time it was a warehouse. Private cars and taxis were parked at an entrance of the street warehouse. Ames jumped out of the car and pulled down the gate behind everyone. Yusuf and
Ames pulled Fischer out of the cab and pushed him across the porch.
Cobb jumped out of the car with a furious look on his face.
"Arthur! Arthur, what's going on..."
Arthur pulled the bleeding Li Teng out of the front seat.
"Oh, God. Is he dying?"
Arthur: "I don't know. What happened to you back there? Where did you go?"
Cobb: "We were blocked by a freight train."
Arthur asked Linnie: "Why did you put a ramming train at a downtown intersection?"
Lin Ni was also a little confused: "I didn't."
Cobb interrupted the conversation between the two and said: "Why were we ambushed, Arthur?! Those people are not ordinary projections, they have been trained!"
Lin Ni looked horrified: "How can they be trained?"
Arthur thought for a while and said: "Fischer asked the dream stealer to teach his brain to defend, so his subconscious has a military defense system. This should be investigated and researched in advance!"
Cobb was a little annoyed: "Then why the hell didn't you investigate?"
Arthur asked him to calm down.
Cobb said a little frantically: "Don't tell me to calm down, you should be responsible for fully investigating Fischer's background. You should not make such a mistake, we are not prepared for such a violent conflict!"
Arthur explained: "Cobb, we have dealt with subconscious defenses before, we just need to be more..."
Cobb interrupted: "That's not part of the plan, Arthur!"
As he spoke, he pointed at Li Teng and said, "He's dying!"
Ames said: "Let's help him get out of his misery."
As he said that, he walked into the house, took out his gun, and then walked towards Li Teng.
Cobb quickly stopped him: "No!"
Ames was puzzled: "He is suffering, let's wake him up!"
Cobb grabbed Ames' arm: "No, that won't wake him up."
Ames couldn't understand it at all: "What do you mean, what can't wake him up? If you die in a dream, you will wake up."
Youssef explained: "Not this time. We used too much sedatives, and we couldn't wake up."
Ames looked at Yusuf, then at Cobb: "Then what happens when we die?"
"Dead people will not wake up, their consciousness will fall into the lost world."
Lin Ni exclaimed: "Lost in the world?"
Arthur said: "Dreams without structure."
Lin Ni was curious: "What exactly is down there?"
Arthur: "There is only the original infinite subconscious. There is nothing down there, only the residual dreams left by the people who were trapped there before. Our team...only Cobb has been there."
Linnie asked: "How long will we be stuck there?"
Youssef: "Don't even think about escaping until the sedative wears off..."
"how long?"
"Decades - maybe indefinitely - I don't know! Just ask him - he's the only one who's been there!"
Ames walked up to Cobb and looked him in the eye: "Great, so now we're trapped inside Fischer's mind, fighting to the death with his personal army, and once we're killed we're
Trapped in the Lost World until our brains are completely gone?"
Cobb said nothing, and Li Teng's moans became more and more violent.
Arthur said anxiously: "We'd better carry him upstairs."
They made Li Teng lie flat on an old table. Arthur was examining him. He motioned to Linnie and Ames looked at Cobb.
Arthur looked at Cobb: "You knew there were these risks, but you didn't tell us."
Cobb tried to explain: "It turned out that there was no risk, but I didn't expect to encounter such a fierce gun battle."
Arthur: "You have no right to do that."
Cobb: "Only in this way can we go deep into the third level of dreams, Arthur."
Arthur turned to Yusuf, full of hostility: "And you, you already knew this but kept silent?"
Yusuf: "I trust him."
Arthur laughed a little angrily: "You trust him? When? When he promised to give you half of the money?"
Yusuf felt offended, and he said dissatisfiedly: "No! He promised to give me all the money. In addition, he also told me that he had done such a thing before."
Arthur turned to Cobb: "Oh, really? With Mal? That's a pretty big deal, isn't it, Cobb?"
Cobb grabbed Arthur: "You know nothing about that. This is the only way to complete this task, Arthur, I did what I should do, I want to return to my children."
Ames was dissatisfied: "So you dragged us into a battlefield with no exit."
Cobb explained: "We have an exit. We also have recoil bombs. We just need to continue this task and complete it as soon as possible. When the time comes, we will use the recoil bombs to take us out of the dreamland."
Eames obviously did not accept his explanation: "Forget it, the deeper we go, the greater our risk will be. I will just sit on this level."
Cobb shook his head: "We can't do this, Eames. As we speak, Fisher's guards are surrounding this place. A 10-hour flight is equivalent to a week in this dream. If you haven't been beaten,
Even if we die, we will be fine. Going deeper into the dreamland is our only way forward, and we must continue."
This chapter is not over, please click on the next page to continue reading! Li Teng groaned, and Cobb looked at him: "And we must move quickly."
Ames and Arthur weighed the weight of his words.
Cobb continued: "Eames, go get ready. Arthur, let's go downstairs so he can relax."
Cobb and Arthur were wearing hats that covered their faces, exposing only the eyes, nostrils and mouth, without revealing their identity. They pulled the bag off Fisher's head and chained him to the radiator.
Fisher: "I have kidnapping insurance up to 10 million, this should be easy!"
Cobb: "No, it's not that simple."
Fisher looked at Cobb with a nervous expression.
Arthur: "In your father's office, under the bookshelf is his personal safe. We need the combination to it."
Fisher shook his head: "I never noticed any safes!"
Cobb: "That doesn't mean you don't know the password."
Fisher: "Well, I really don't know."
Arthur: "We have good sources on good authority saying you know the password."
Fischer: "Who said that?"
On the other side of the warehouse, Yusuf searched through Fisher's wallet. Ames opened a three-way mirror with hinges.
Yusuf: “This wallet is worth five hundred dollars, and that’s it?”
Eames: "What else is in there?"
Yusuf said while taking it: "Cash, various cards, ID cards...and this-"
He suddenly pulled out a snapshot: a photo taken in Maurice Fisher's office, showing a young Robert holding up a homemade paper pinwheel as his father blew into it. Eames learned from Yusuf
Taking the snapshot in his hand and examining it carefully, Cobb came in and Eames handed him the snapshot.
Ames asked: "Does it work?"
Cobb studied the snapshot. Eames looked at himself in the hinged mirror from multiple angles: countless images of Eames turned into many Brownings. Cobb put the snapshot into his pocket.
Cobb: "Go ahead, I'll give you an hour."
Eames: "An hour? I thought I had the whole night to pry his mouth."
Cobb: "And Li Teng shouldn't have been shot. Give you an hour - come up with something we can use."
Eames transformed from the mirror into Browning, looked at his watch, and screamed, as if begging for mercy!
