1111 The last few dozen kilometers

A heavy armored vehicle with wheels over one meter high ran over the body of a demon soldier.

The turret on its body pointed diagonally forward, aiming at a house that was already riddled with holes.

Without any hesitation, the 50mm cannon started roaring, and the dense tracer bullets left rows of dazzling beams in the air.

Just like a laser cannon, the ammunition fired by this 50 mm caliber rapid-fire cannon hit the wall of the building, emitting a burst of white smoke.

At the same time, countless huge bullet casings were ejected with a clanging sound and fell to the ground beside them.

These shells rolled everywhere in the soft soil, some landed next to the corpses of the demon soldiers on the ground, and some rolled further, not stopping until they hit the steel boots of the heavy armored grenadiers.

The grenadier standing there was holding a telescope and carefully observing the small village where there was not much movement.

The demon army stationed there resisted from morning to noon, and even now they have no intention of collapsing or surrendering.

"It's interesting." The further they advanced, the more the attacking heavy armored grenadier force of the Eilanhir Empire could feel the determination of the demons on the opposite side to resist.

The opponent caused a lot of trouble for the attacking Eiland Hill Empire. Naturally, the closer they got to Witholans, the more pressure the Eilandsil ground troops felt.

It was really tragic and heroic, struggling at the end of the road! The madness of using whatever weapons you found! The despair of fighting to the end even if you don't care about your life!

Some demonic weapons that had not appeared on the frontal battlefield for a long time began to gradually appear on the demonic defenders' positions.

For example, the demon dispersed the remaining demon missiles and attacked the frontline troops of the Elanshir Empire with cold guns and cold guns, causing a little trouble for the frontline troops.

However, because the factory that produced Demon Missiles has been destroyed, the quantity of these stocks is not enough to support the large-scale use of this weapon by the Demon Army, so it is just a small incident that has no bearing on the overall situation.

But the more the opponent behaves like this, the more the soldiers of the Airanhill Empire know that victory is in sight!

Even judging intuitively from the map, they are only a few dozen kilometers away from Withollands, and their cannons seem to be almost ready to be aimed at the sinful city.

"Keep firing...the target is not completely silent yet!" came the voice of the observation team on the radio.

On the turret of the huge armored vehicle, the steaming 50mm long-barreled rapid-fire cannon once again sprayed out blazing tongues of flame.

"Chug, tug, tug!" A series of machine cannons roared, bringing up a cloud of white smoke on the building opposite.

Rubbles flew everywhere, and the entire building collapsed on the side facing the Elanshir Empire troops. The roof of the entire building was also overwhelmed and collapsed, with gravels and tiles flying everywhere.

A drone hovered over the battlefield, watching the demon defenders being submerged in the dust dispersed from the collapsed buildings.

Those demon soldiers huddled together, holding ancient swords and other weapons, were like a group of lambs waiting to be slaughtered. They could only use their lives to delay a small amount of time.

"The opponent is still there! Wait until the smoke clears and continue the attack... I will transmit the attack assessment results in real time." The voice of the observation team continued to come from the earphones.

Putting down the binoculars in his hands, the heavy armored grenadiers of the Airanhill Empire standing next to the armored vehicle looked at the smoke-filled village in front of them where the demon garrison was stationed, and they didn't know what their expressions were.

As long as this village is captured, a forward position can be established here, and the large-caliber heavy artillery of Bulkland Fortress can be aimed at Withollands.

"Whoosh!" A slender arrow cut through the sound of the wind and nailed the drones that were hovering over the battlefield.

The huge force lifted the drone up a few points, and then the observation drone, whose structure was destroyed, spun around and fell to the ground like a fallen leaf.

"The observation plane has been hit! The observation plane has been hit!" The regretful and depressed voice of the pilot controlling the drone of the observation group rang in the headphones.

On the high slope to the north of the armored vehicle, a sudden gunshot echoed in the air. It was a sniper's large-caliber sniper rifle firing.

"Hit the target! The archer on the second floor of the house at coordinates 7-9 has been killed!" Taking his eyes away from the eyepiece of the sight, the sniper coldly pressed the intercom and reported to the entire attack team.

: "No other shooters were found, the attacking fan is temporarily safe!"

After hearing the sniper's report, the heavy armored grenadier who had been standing next to the heavy armored vehicle and observing the entire village raised his right hand and slashed forward.

The heavy-armored grenadiers behind him, who had been bending and waiting, ran forward quickly like resurrected tigers.

"Attack! Attack!" Holding a 10mm assault rifle, the noncommissioned officer who was the first to move forward loudly encouraged the soldiers behind him.

These young soldiers rushed quickly across the slope, over the bushes covered with green leaves, and across the empty plains filled with shell craters and demon corpses.

"Whoosh!" Another feather arrow flew towards the face and sank into the soil at the feet of a heavy armored bullet soldier who was running forward. Because of the strength, the end of the feather arrow did not stop immediately, but swayed slightly.

It shook for a long time.

"Archer! Archer! Who can find him! I can't see him!" The officer of the Eiland Hill Armored Grenadier shouted loudly on the radio while running and organizing the attack.

"One o'clock position! One o'clock position! On the right side of Shire! Near the ruins on the right side of Shire!" Another charging soldier reported the position while running.

"Suppress! Suppress!" the officer's order came urgently.

The heavy infantry fighting vehicle that had been guarding behind it had its turret pointed in the direction of the ruins with a squeaking sound.

The next second, the high-pitched continuous firing sound of the 50mm caliber machine gun rang out again: "Chu, chu, chu, chu!"

The tracer bullets splashed a cloud of white smoke on the rubble, and the collapsed wall shattered into countless tiny stones. The remaining half of the pillars also broke and collapsed under the cutting of the shells.

The attacking heavy armored grenadiers had already rushed to the ruins near the village. They picked up their automatic weapons, aimed at the suspected enemy hiding place, and pulled their triggers.

"Thud, tug, tug!" Intense gunshots rang out, and the whole village was noisy. There were sounds of grenades exploding everywhere, as well as the devil's groans and shouts of pain.
