1323 Suddenly so quiet

"Boom, boom, boom!" Harold picked up his assault rifle, pointed it at the swordsman in white who was dodging in the distance, and pulled the trigger.

A row of bullets was fired out, instantly surrounding the opponent. The opponent's long sword that protected his body flexibly blocked left and right, and most of the bullets were bounced away.

A bullet passed through the flying sword, but did not hit the swordsman. It grazed the opponent's scalp and flew directly into the distance.

In Harold's view, the opponent was as difficult to deal with as an armored vehicle, but the anti-tank missile would also be detonated in advance by the guy's flying sword. He had already tried it by launching a missile just now.

Fortunately, the swordsman in white, who was caught in the line of fire from all directions, could only parry now and had no power to fight back.

The opponent's terrifying flying sword, which looked like a missile, could only be used for defense, and there was no time to attack.

If the swordsman in white had some more combat experience, he might find a shallow pit to lie down on the ground, and then command the flying sword to attack, it might be more difficult to deal with him.

Unfortunately, for some unknown reason, the opponent did not lie down. Instead, he was blatantly dressed in white and exposed to almost all firepower.

Acting cool? Harold simply didn't know what to say. He could only change the window, pick up the weapon, and continue to pour his ammunition at the target.

"Thud, tug, tug!" Another short shot, and the bullet was once again blocked by that annoying flying sword.

However, this time the swordsman in white was not so lucky. His flying sword helped him block most of the attacks, but some bullets still penetrated the almost airtight defense line.

One bullet was blocked by the spiritual energy shield, and the other bullet directly hit the swordsman in white in the abdomen, causing his figure to slow down suddenly.

After all, this is a 10mm caliber ammunition, so stopping it is naturally very powerful. The swordsman in white staggered when he was hit, covered his abdomen, knelt down on one knee and stopped moving forward.

The swordsman in white suddenly looked in the direction of Harold, and the flying swords surrounding him suddenly rushed towards Harold with lightning speed.

Harold's power armor reacted immediately, and he moved his position at an extremely fast speed.

The flying sword crashed through the outer wall of the house where Harold was hiding, and was directly inserted into the ground inside the house. There was no more movement.

Outside the house, the swordsman in white kneeling on one knee had also been shot to pieces by bullets from other directions.

"It's really tough!" Harold looked at the dust that had not cleared up and the flying sword not far away from him. He snorted and picked up his assault rifle again.

He pulled the trigger toward the slope in the distance.

There, there were several swordsmen in white approaching, and this time, because there were no mines to block them, their advancement speed was faster.

"We are really being treated as weak persimmons!" Harold muttered quietly as he fired. Then he pulled a grenade from his chest, pointed it in the direction of the targets, and fired it hard

Throwed out.

His arm was mechanical and supported by an exoskeleton. The throwing distance and accuracy were very scary. The grenade flew to the target accurately and exploded in mid-air close to the target.

The sky full of prefabricated fragments directly enveloped the target, but soon several swordsmen in white rushed out from the dust of the explosion. Although they looked a little embarrassed, they did not suffer fatal injuries.

However, then an armed helicopter fired a series of cannon shells at these swordsmen in white.

The tracer bullets hit the ground, stirring up a cloud of white smoke. The swordsmen in white, shrouded in the white smoke, became even more embarrassed. Their flying swords could barely block 10mm bullets, but they could not withstand the machine anyway.

The ravages of artillery.

This time, only two swordsmen in white broke out of the white smoke and continued to approach. As for whether the remaining swordsmen in white were dead, no one cared.

If you were hit by a 20mm cannon, even if you didn't die immediately, you would probably be left lying on the ground wailing and waiting for death.

Harold watched as the two swordsmen in white rushed into his defense line again. He pressed the communicator and ordered: "Stop them with light weapons! Then use cloud bombs!"

From all sides of the village, countless gun lines converged on the two swordsmen in white. They could only grit their teeth and control their flying swords, blocking the incoming bullets left and right.

Behind the remaining wall of a collapsed building directly in front of them, a grenadier put his assault rifle back on his chest and picked up a thick rocket launcher from under his feet.

He plugged a power cord from the rocket launcher into his power armor. The aiming device on the rocket launcher was powered on, the screen lit up, and the self-test data began to refresh.

"Goodbye!" The soldier put the rocket launcher on his shoulder, and then pointed the rocket launcher that had completed self-test at the distant target.

When the launch reminder on his screen turned green, he pulled the launch trigger, and a wave of air erupted from the tail of the rocket launcher, blowing away the broken bricks and tiles behind him.

"Cloud bomb!" While pressing the button, he loudly reminded all nearby comrades.

The individual cloud bomb did not rush towards the target in a straight line, but suddenly rose up, first climbed rapidly into the sky, and then suddenly turned and dived towards the ground.

It dragged a long line of white smoke and exploded in the sky the moment it was about to hit its target.

The huge explosion sound caused the gravel on the ground to vibrate, and the subsequent explosion shock wave blew all the loose soil from nearby buildings into the sky.

The entire village shuddered at the horrific explosion, and all the Airanhill Empire soldiers hiding in the ruins subconsciously shrank their necks.

Although their ears are protected by active noise-canceling headphones, and although their bodies are protected by powered armor, they still remain in awe of such terrifying weapons.

A mushroom cloud rose into the sky, and the entire battlefield seemed to quiet down after such a loud noise. There was no more sound of machine gun fire, no more explosions of grenades or landmines.

A piece of broken white clothing fell in the wind, covering the still hot soil, and then was blown up by the wind and fell farther away.

Anyway, everything became strangely quiet, as if the battle here was over.
