Sanren created a new system, but some readers said they didn’t understand it. Well, well, it’s because Sanren himself didn’t explain it clearly. Here is an explanation of some terms in this book.
five major schools
If you think this is nonsense from Sanren, you are wrong. In order to make it clearer for everyone, Sanren will first introduce to you the five major schools in reality.
1. Accumulating good deeds.
The monks of the Jishan sect pay attention to: doing good deeds and benevolence, accumulating merit and virtue. With the power of boundless merits, they can achieve the relationship between heaven and man, and cultivate the path of heavenly immortals. Although they are said to be immortals, they are actually just practicing semi-divine ways. The monks of the Jishan sect have complete merits and virtues.
After that, he achieved the status of a god through meritorious deeds, while avoiding the priesthood. He obtained the status of a god, but was not burdened with official duties, and was as carefree as an immortal.
The Accumulating Good Sect is based on accumulating merits, giving benefits to others, treating others at the expense of oneself, sacrificing oneself for others, sympathizing with people's evil, rejoicing in people's good deeds, helping people in need, and relieving people's dangers, as the first task of cultivating the Tao.
Monks of the Jishan sect should practice "Tai Shang Ying Pian", "Gong Guo Ge", "Yin Zhi Wen" and other good books. They should know: "If you want to become a heavenly immortal, you must do three thousand good deeds; if you want to become an earthly immortal, you must do three hundred good deeds."
.”
2, classic school.
The Taoist sects characterized by their belief in a certain classic are collectively called Classical Taoism. Classical monks study the classics and worship the manifestations of humans and gods. Generally speaking, most of the Classical monks practice Shintoism, and according to their own sect’s divine system, they feel the heart of heaven.
, practice all your life, just to leave your name in the writings of the God, and to gain the incense of Shinto.
Most of the Classical sects also belong to the Fu sect. The Classical sect and the Fu sect are the schools with the strongest religious color in Taoism.
3, Fupai.
Fu sect monks are good at drawing talismans to drive away ghosts, using talisman water to cure diseases, and they are also best at fasting and ritual rituals. Up, they can reach the sky to achieve destiny, and send divine soldiers; Down, they can reach the Nine Netherworlds, and command ghosts; Level, they can communicate with each other, and gods and humans are the same.
The path to immortality can be expected. The Fu sect is undoubtedly the most powerful sect in combat.
From the earliest "Five Pecks of Rice" to the now famous Maoshan Sect, and the Shenxiao Sect, which is famous for its thunder method, they all belong to the Fu Sect. In the eyes of the world, the Fu Sect almost represents Taoism.
4, Zhanyu sect.
A Taoist sect that mainly teaches divination techniques. The monks of the divination sect take elixirs internally and cultivate merits externally. They are best at borrowing luck. Once they get the correspondence between gods and men, they can see the loopholes in the way of heaven, and then they will accidentally establish Taoist fruits and become immortals.
.That’s why the monks of the Zhanyu sect are closest to the secular people.
Most of the monks of the Divination Sect are intelligent people, and they are best at fortune-telling, Qimen Dunjia, and layout and formation.
Fu is good at fighting, and fortune-telling is good at calculation. The practice of the Fortune-telling sect consumes a lot of energy, and those who are not smart will not enter the wall. It is precisely because of this that there are very few true successors of the Fortune-telling sect. Most of the monks of the Fortune sect also practice this way, but they all
I won’t go into details, but most schools will not touch the method of fortune-telling.
5, Danding Sect.
The Danding Sect is a sect that almost transformed Taoism from a religion into a spiritual practice. It can be said that the reason why Taoism is not popular is largely because of the Danding Sect.
The Alchemy Sect teaches dual cultivation of life and life, using oneself as the furnace, essence as lead, and spiritual consciousness as mercury to form the golden elixir avenue.
The monks of the Danding Sect do not practice fortune-telling or talismans, but only practice the power of life. What they pursue is immortality and the true immortal way.
The Danding Sect pays attention to the practice of escaping from the world, being self-sufficient, not doing evil to others, and never doing good to others. They only seek to detach themselves and not care about the sentient beings in the world. Although the monks of the Danding Sect only cultivate golden elixirs and do not use talismans, it does not mean that they are weak.
, On the contrary, they can be said to be the monks closest to the way of heaven among the five major schools!
There are naturally differences between reality and novels. Rather than saying that there are five major schools, it is better to say that there are five schools. The world is narrowed and it will be difficult to join schools such as Wu Gu Dao and Zhen Dao. Therefore, it was adapted into a novel.
After reading the description, you must have noticed that the five major schools are not distinct. As San Ren said in the book, the five major schools have some intersections and learn from each other's strengths, but the core remains unchanged.
The Alchemy Sect: It is divided into the inner alchemy way and the outer alchemy way. The fundamental difference between the two is whether the golden elixir is refining internally or externally. In layman's terms, it means seeking internally or externally. The cultivation realms of the inner alchemy way and the outer alchemy way are the same.
.Division of realms (taking Yiqi Sect as an example, each sect will be different due to the difference of the fundamental method): Qi refining (qi refining, gathering qi, receiving qi, condensing qi, changing qi, transforming qi, quenching qi, nourishing qi, cultivating qi)
Qi), foundation building, golden elixir, Yuanying, Dongtian, if Dongtian understands a trace of the original way, he will be a half-immortal. Fenhuang's situation is different, he is not an ordinary half-immortal, which will be mentioned below.
Fu Sect: Qi refining, foundation building, spiritual talisman (golden elixir + Nascent Soul), cave heaven. This method is quite similar to the ancient demon clan's practice of great elixir. The whole body is based on the spiritual talisman, and there is no transformation of the infant.
Accumulating Good Sect: The ranking is based on the number of accumulated merits. The cultivation level generally depends on the coverage of the golden light of the top merits. Generally speaking, the golden light under the golden elixir of meritorious deeds is within a range of less than thirty miles. If it breaks through thirty miles after the golden elixir,
The infant is three hundred miles, and the cave sky is three thousand miles. However, this number varies greatly depending on the species of the realm.
Divination sect: Channeling (refining Qi + building foundation, can calculate changes in spiritual energy), Tongxuan (Golden elixir, can predict the growth and decline of Taoist charm), Tongyou (Nascent Soul, can peek into the netherworld of the underworld, and attract the dead), Tongming (cave heaven)
, can calculate the Qi number of a boundary area).
Classical school: Generally, it depends on which level of gods it can summon.
Finally, there are the Cunsi sect added by Sanren themselves: Yun Ling (Qi Refining + Foundation Building), Outer God (Golden Pill + Nascent Soul), and Inner God (Dongtian).
In the setting of Sanren, the major schools are just different in the path chosen by the monks before they become immortals. They all have the same understanding of the Tao Yun and practice the Tao. Once they become immortals, all laws will be unified. As for why there are so many schools under the immortals
, the scattered people will be led to the end of the second tribulation of the Great Background.
The classification of immortals: based on Tao and Fruit, Taichu Tao and Fruit (comprehending the origin), Taiyi Tao and Fruit (comprehending the Tao of time and space), Daluo Tao and Fruit (comprehending the Tao of Destiny), Hunyuan Tao and Fruit (comprehending the reality and reality)
Tao), each fruit is divided into Heavenly Immortal, Mysterious Immortal, and Golden Immortal. The saint is the Hunyuan Golden Immortal. The one who died together with Emperor Fen was an Taichu Golden Immortal. Emperor Fen realized a hint of the way of destiny at the last moment.
This is just the division of the Immortal Way. In the Sanren setting, during the Three Tribulations (the Honghuangliu novels call it the God-conferring Tribulation, and the San people prefer to call it the internal strife of the Taoist sect), the Divine Way and the Human Way separate from the Immortal Way, and the Divine Way and the Human Way separate.
Humanity has its own system. In order to reduce everyone’s burden, I won’t say more here.
