Mu Lian was sad, so he filled the bowl with rice and went to feed his mother. When the mother got the rice in the bowl, she blocked the bowl with her left hand and beat the food with her right hand. The food turned into charcoal before entering her mouth, so she could not eat it. Maudgalyana shouted loudly, howled and wept, and rushed back to the white Buddha. This is the story."

Even if you have not recited "The Buddha Speaks of the Ullambana Sutra", after reading the first paragraph, you will understand the main idea of this sutra. It describes the story of Maudgalyana, the great disciple of the Buddha, who could not bear the death of his mother who fell into the realm of hungry ghosts and suffered death. Speaking of "The Buddha Speaks of the Ullambana Sutra", Wu Yi remembered that today is the fifteenth day of the seventh month, which is a big day for both Taoism and Buddhism.
A big day for Buddhism is naturally the Menglan Pen Festival, and today's day for Taoism is the Ghost Festival, which is also a day closely related to ghosts.
It is the same Buddhist scripture, but when different people recite it, the effect is completely different. When ordinary people recite it, Wu Yi may not even have a slight fluctuation in his mind.

You must be the monks of the ten directions." The power of the divine power can lead to liberation. Now I will tell you the method of relief, so that all difficulties can be eliminated and sorrow and suffering can be eliminated."
When these words were spoken, most of the people present could not control their emotions, and began to mourn and cry, unable to control themselves.
Wu Yi held back his tears, but the tears flowed like spring water, covering his clothes continuously.
In fact, when the Buddha Mulian was preaching, Wu Yi had gradually lost his self-awareness, and he just instinctively held back his tears.
"I wish to use this merit to adorn the Buddha's Pure Land, repay the fourfold kindness above, and relieve the suffering on the three paths. I wish to travel throughout the Dharma Realm, indulge all sentient beings, arouse bodhicitta, fulfill this Sambhogakaya, and live together in the Land of Ultimate Bliss!" Finally, in the eyes! With the solemn oath of the Buddha, the sermon ended here.
