Chapter 306 Little Ma's Windbreaker

Helena has designed a total of three windbreakers, all of which are in line with Sun Dahai’s principles of men’s style, dark color, chic and cool.

In fact, in Sun Dahai's impression, Xiao Ma wore more than one windbreaker in his heroic character, the most famous of which was the one worn with a suit and tie when he appeared on the stage, and also appeared during the Maple Grove N-War.

There is also a casual windbreaker that appears in the second part and is full of bullet holes. It seems that it also appeared in the later part of the first part.

However, the copyright of the film is now in the hands of Sun Dahai. Whether there will be a second film that continues the film and a third film that is purely a money-making project depends on Sun Dahai's mood.

Overall, the second movie was okay, but it was too far-fetched to forcibly create a twin brother for Ma. One of the most touching aspects of this classic movie is the sudden death of Ma.

His twin brother appears in the second part, which is really unacceptable. It always feels like there is something wrong. So, it remains to be seen whether it will be filmed or not.

Forget it about the third part. Tsui Hark and Wu Yusen have different directorial styles. They were copied mechanically, which is a bit nondescript. Sun Dahai would never agree to film it.

The windbreakers designed by Helena are quite good. Two of them are not very different from what Sun Dahai imagined. After slight modifications, one can be worn at the beginning and the other can be worn when Xiao Ma is down.

There is also a windbreaker, which feels weird to Sun Dahai, a bit familiar, but also very awkward.

Sun Dahai had an idea and asked Helena, who was 1.6 meters tall, to put it on, and then he saw the clues.

The design of this windbreaker is very clever. It has a slim fit on the upper body and suddenly relaxes after reaching the waist. It is like a long skirt with high slits in the front, making it easier for the wearer to move vigorously.

Sun Dahai slapped his forehead. Isn't this very similar to the pretentious windbreaker worn by Keanu Reeves in The Matrix? Helena's imagination is really wide open.

Let’s keep the sample and design drawings of this windbreaker for now. Whether or not to invest in the Matrix series is still a long way off.

Sun Dahai stopped thinking wildly.

I really miss the days when Gao Yi or Battelle were around! Sun Dahai, who is used to bossing around people, sighed while writing this down in his notebook. Now there is no one to help record it, so he

We can only do it "in person".

Sun Dahai had already greeted Shi Nansheng and John Woo before, telling them that his family had opened a new clothing factory and was planning to sponsor the clothing part of the film and design several windbreakers for Fa Ge's role in the film.

As one of the copyright owners and investors, making such a small request is really insignificant. Shi Nansheng agreed casually, while Wu Yusen was more serious and specifically asked about the style and applicable occasions of the windbreaker before agreeing.

Of course Fa Ge also knew about it. Sun Dahai asked him to tell Huang Feifei the detailed data such as height, weight, shoulder width and waist circumference over the phone. He also asked him to send recent life photos and some stills for Helena to design.

At the same time, it can be customized according to Fa Ge’s body characteristics and temperament.

The filming plan for "A Better Tomorrow" has been finalized. The crew will start filming in early November, with a one-month shooting period, and then another month for post-production.

The film will have a trial screening in late January and will be released in Hong Kong in February.

The schedule is so tight, but the filmmakers in Xiangjiang are accustomed to such a fast pace. If Sun Dahai hadn't strongly opposed it, Shi Nansheng and others would have wanted to advance the release date to Christmas.

Director Wu Da actually didn't have any objection. It depends on the situation. If Sun Dahai didn't object, he could squeeze in the time and finish the work. I really don't know how he could stand the pace there when he later arrived in Hollywood?

Sponsorship from Landa Garment Factory is actually simple. After purchasing or renting the costumes of the main characters, the crew can make a bill and have Landa Garment Factory reimburse them.

Because the film is a modern urban genre film, the costumes will not be too special. Therefore, generally supporting roles and supporting actors will be required by the crew to prepare their own costumes according to their own role settings.

This was also a common practice among Hong Kong film crews in the 1970s. With so many movies, the total investment of only a few hundred thousand Hong Kong dollars, the cost of costumes, props, scenery, etc. was saved wherever possible.

Landa Garment Factory doesn't have to worry about being ripped off, because Future Investment Company is one of its investors, and Zhu Lihua's name is among the producers.

One of the main roles of a producer is to supervise and control costs. If the crew wants to make a little money from costume sponsors, that's the norm and no one will mind.

But if someone in the crew wants to take this opportunity to rip off sponsors and make a fortune, that would break the rules and bully the producer's IQ.

Landa Clothing Factory provides clothing sponsorship. In fact, it means letting Fa Ge wear a customized windbreaker, and then spends 200,000 to 300,000 Hong Kong dollars in advertising fees. After the film is released, it will take advantage of the opportunity to sell windbreakers. The specific revenue will depend on the film.

box office and influence.

The three windbreakers designed by Helena, except for the sci-fi pretentious version, were a bit ahead of their time, so Sun Dahai decided to keep them for now and make plans later. One of the remaining two models can be worn with a suit, and the other is more casual, which is basically Sun's.

What the sea wants.

Sun Dahai told Helena some of his thoughts on the two windbreakers. As for whether to make modifications, or how to modify them, it was all up to Helena.

Professional matters should be left to professional people to handle. Sun Dahai still understands this truth.

After the business talk was over, Li Cuifeng came to invite everyone to dinner.

Since the first phase of the dormitory building was handed over, the people who used to eat at Sun's house every day have basically moved to the new dormitory building, and dine in the staff cafeteria of Shiweitian Building every day. Only during holidays or when there are special events.

Will come to Sun's house for dinner.

This has saved the Sun family a lot of things. During working days, cooking at home is relatively simple.

The family originally planned to eat Braised Noodles today, along with two cold dishes, one meat and one vegetarian, which would be enough for their family of four.

But today there are a few extra people coming for dinner, so it can't be that simple.

Huang Feifei has lived in the guest room at home for several years, and she is very familiar with her, so you are welcome. The driver is fat and they have watched her grow up, so he is not so particular.

But this was Helena's first time coming to the house for dinner, and she was a foreign friend. Sun Dahai couldn't come to cook the dinner because he had to talk about something. So Jiang Xiuping took matters into her own hands, and with the help of Li Cuifeng who came home later, she cooked the dinner.

.

Shrimp with garlic paste, beef brisket simmered in red wine, seafood tofu pot, mushrooms and cabbage, and two cold dishes of fish skin and vegetable salad. Jiang Xiuping really put a lot of effort into these Chinese and Western dishes.

"Wow, I can't believe it, this is so delicious! Dear boss, does your family need a professional personal clothing designer?"

Helena, who tasted all the dishes one by one, looked at Sun Weiguo pitifully like a stray puppy.11
