Chapter 36 The Emperor

"You can call me Fool."

The short answer quickly disappeared in the magnificent temple and the diffuse mist, but in the hearts of Audrey and Alger, the voice echoed for a long time, stirring up ripples in circles.

Rawls lowered his head and sighed in his heart: Is this the inevitability of fate? Then what is my fate?

After a few seconds of silence, Audrey stood up, lifted up her skirt, bent her knees, and saluted Zhou Mingrui:

"Dear Mr. Fool, please allow me to take the liberty of asking you to be a witness to our transaction."

"It's a small thing." Zhou Mingrui's thoughts changed quickly and he answered in a manner befitting his identity.

"This is our honor, Mr. Fool." Alger also stood up, put his right hand on his chest, and bent down to salute.

Zhou Mingrui pressed his right hand weakly, smiled and said:

"You guys continue."

Alger nodded, looked at Rawls beside him, and also bowed:

"Thanks also to the gentleman for his advice."

Alger was full of curiosity about this gentleman. Among the three people pulled here by Mr. Fool, this gentleman was as mysterious as Mr. Fool.

He spoke very few words, but as soon as he opened his mouth, he gave advice to the powerful and mysterious Mr. Fool. This was an extremely risky move. Or if he could tell that Mr. Fool had good intentions toward us, then he should also be an extraordinary person, "

Audience" or "Peeper"?

Audrey, who was opposite, saw this scene and quickly stood up, lifted up her skirt, bent her knees, and saluted Rawls.

Audrey, how could you forget to thank the gentleman who gave the suggestion? Susie would thank anyone who helped her, but you have taken an etiquette class!

Bah! Audrey, what are you thinking about? Audrey kept an elegant smile:

"Thank you sir."

Rawls also stood up and returned a salute to Alger and Audrey.

Why do I feel like Alger is imagining me? Shouldn’t you be imagining Klein?

"You should thank Mr. Fool for this."

The three of them saluted and thanked Klein again at the same time:

"Thank you Mr. Fool."

Is the gentleman who made the decision for me a good man? Judging from the skill with which he thanked the other two, he must have done this kind of thing a lot.

Zhou Mingrui didn't speak, but nodded reservedly.

Seeing Audrey and Alger sitting down again, Rawls bowed to Zhou Mingrui again:

"Mr. Fool, you agreed to witness their transaction, would you mind trying this a few more times?"

Rawls felt that he could not delay it any longer and had to set up the Tarot Society before Klein's spiritual support could no longer be supported.

After Alger listened calmly, his heart also moved for a while, and he hurriedly agreed:

"Mr. Fool, don't you think this kind of gathering is interesting? Although your power exceeds our imagination, there are always areas in the world that you don't understand and are not good at. The lady opposite me is obviously of noble birth.

This gentleman comes from an extraordinary background. I also have my own experience, insights, channels and resources. She and I may be able to help you complete trivial things that are inconvenient for you to do yourself at some point in the future."

My performance as a noble-born lady, is my accent so obvious? Audrey’s mouth was half-opened and she was startled for a moment, but she quickly came back to her senses and nodded without hesitation:

"Mr. Fool, I think this is a good proposal. As long as the gathering becomes regular, if it is not convenient for you to come forward, you can completely hand it over to us. Of course, it must be within our capabilities."

Alger, he could tell from Audrey's accent that Audrey was of noble birth, but how did he know that I was of extraordinary birth? What on earth did he do to me? Didn't I speak in an aristocratic accent?

Rawls' expression remained unchanged and continued to look at Klein's desk.

Considering that the convening and disbanding of the "gathering" was under his control, even if any problems were exposed, they were within control and the benefits clearly outweighed the disadvantages. Zhou Mingrui made a quick decision.

He stopped tapping and faced six expectant and anxious eyes and said with a smile:

"I am a person who likes equal exchange."

"I won't let you help unconditionally."

"Every Monday, at three o'clock in the afternoon, try to be alone as much as possible. When I try a few more times and figure out some things, maybe you can ask for leave in advance and don't have to worry about being in an inappropriate situation."

Audrey had just turned seventeen and had always been cared for. She was a very serious girl. When she heard Mr. Fool's answer, she couldn't help clenching her fists and shaking them twice in front of her chest.

"Then should we give ourselves a title? After all, we can't communicate with our real names." Before Alger could speak, she said with bright eyes and enthusiasm.

Although her true situation may not be hidden from Mr. Fool, she cannot let the two gentlemen opposite know her situation, especially the one with blue hair. She feels that he is very dangerous!

"Good idea." Zhou Mingrui replied briefly and easily.

Audrey immediately started thinking and said while thinking:

"You are Mr. Fool, and you come from the Tarot cards. As a regular, long-term, secret gathering, the title must be as consistent as possible. Well, I will also choose from the Tarot cards."

Her tone slowly became cheerful:

"It's decided, my title is Justice."

This is one of the twenty-two main cards of the Tarot.

"What about you, sir?" Audrey looked at her "companions" opposite with a smile.

Alger frowned slightly, then relaxed and said:

"The Hanged Man." This is another main card.

Rawls has already decided before:

"emperor."

A main card symbolizing "dominance".

Audrey and Alger looked at Rawls, "Emperor" was far stronger in name and symbolic meaning than "Justice" and "The Hanged Man".

Is Mr. "Emperor" a member of the royal family? But I haven't seen anyone like this at the banquet? Or does he belong to the Fusac royal family or the Feneport royal family?

"Emperor", he is indeed of extraordinary origin, is he Augustus or Castile?

"The Hanged Man" Alger Wilson looked at Rawls carefully. Although he couldn't see the appearance clearly, he was sure that Mr. "Emperor" was not from Fusac.

Klein tried his best to control his expression, but felt very uneasy inside. Did this gentleman choose a card at random, or did it refer to it?

The reasons why Rawls chose "Emperor" are, firstly, that this card can have a certain connection with "Black Emperor" and "Lawyer", and secondly, in "Lord of Mysteries", the codenames of the members of the Tarot Society are and

His own destiny is tied together. He dare not choose one at will, as it would be very dangerous if it gets involved in other destiny.

Seeing that Audrey and Alger were looking at him, and even Klein was looking at him indifferently, Rawls did not explain more, for fear that the more he explained, the more trouble he would get.

"Mr. Hanged Man, you haven't told Miss Justice how to give you ghost shark blood?"
