Chapter 144: Military Training

Under the scorching sun and dry heat, boys and girls in military uniforms stood motionless on the playground.

This is the entrance ceremony of the university. It uses military training to quickly integrate students into one and teach them what real university life is.

In the eyes of many freshmen, military training is just a torturous and backward thing, but for students in Kassel, it can quickly narrow the gap between them and other classmates.

Kassel's military training is based on the Chinese model, because Angers believes that Kassel's executive department should be a team with ideals, not mercenaries who fight women for money.

However, the initial cohort training was not easy for the students, especially those from the United States.

There are probably three types of students in Kassel. Some are from European families who are close to the secret party, some are foreign students sent by the Chinese government, and finally they are native Americans, Texas rednecks who were forced to attend college by Sheriff Henkel with a pistol.

.

Since Ender and Henkel "made" an agreement, our American mixed-race boss, the old Texas cowboy Sheriff Henkel, has had an additional task every year, going to various farms with a pistol to force their children to study.

For example, Sam Brown is standing next to Lu Mingfei now. His family has a beautiful farm in the middle of the United States, isolated from the world. In that place, the Brown family with the power of hybrids is the real king.

In Sam Brown's view, going to school is a complete waste of time. Relying on the knowledge passed down from his family is enough to train him into an excellent warrior or an excellent ruler.

What makes him unbearable the most is that now, that instructor, the Russian named Anton, actually allows him to stand here. Can this kind of training make him a qualified warrior?

"Why are we standing here?" Sam yelled, in Southern accented English: "Like clowns."

Lu Mingfei stood beside him, not daring to express his anger. The instructor's arms were thicker than his calves, and he looked like he could beat a bear. He secretly admired the buddy next to him.

Anton stood at the front of the team, with his hands behind his back, making a resting posture, with his body upright. When he heard Sam Brown's words, he turned his head and stared into his eyes.

The scene was eerily quiet, not because of Brown's stupid question, but because instructor Anton's eyes had turned golden.

A low, prayer-like sound came from the gap between his lips. Brown felt as if he was stuck in mud, the air around him became thicker, and his every move was restricted.

The thick air poured into his mouth and nose, and Sam scratched his neck and let out a silent gasp.

He wanted to call for help, but he couldn't make a sound. He was drowning, drowned in the air.

The freshmen present looked at the struggling Sam Brown, not daring to move at all. No one expected that the instructor would directly use the word spirit, which could be fatal.

Just as Sam's consciousness gradually faded away, the surrounding air returned to its original state. He lay on the ground, breathing heavily, feeling the beauty of the air for the first time.

"The first thing you have to learn in Kassel." Anton said in accented Chinese: "Obey orders, especially the orders of the strong, do you understand!?"

"Understood!" The voice below was loud, and the freshmen were all stunned by Anton's methods.

Anton nodded with satisfaction. In order to prevent accidents during military training, restrictions were temporarily lifted in this area, allowing instructors to use the spirit spirit in it.

There are quite a few freshmen among the freshmen who have some basic skills. To suppress them, the help of Yanling is indispensable.

"Junzi will give you half an hour more." Anton said without mercy, "Because of this guy, you will go to dinner later than the girls."

On the other side, the girls' class that Khorkina was in charge of was much smoother. No one questioned the rationality of the training, which made Khorkina feel a lot more relaxed.

The queue for military training was arranged according to height, so naturally, the petite Ling was ranked first.

Khorkina looked at Zero, who looked only fourteen or fifteen years old, with a puzzled look on her face.

Why are there still little girls who have not graduated from junior high school among the freshmen this year? Is Kassel also planning to open a middle school?

Out of curiosity, Khorkina walked up to Zero and bent down to look at the name tag on Zero's chest.

"Zero Razumovskaya Romanova"

This is a bad name because it means that Zero is a descendant of the Romanov family, the descendants of the Russian Tsars.

You know, the entire family of the Tsar was killed long ago, but there are still many descendants scattered around the country. After the fall of the Red Empire, they were not very popular and could only act as the government's mascots.

Most Russians, as long as they have studied history, will not like this surname, but this does not prevent the descendants of the Tsar from using the Romanov banner to deceive others in Russia.

The same was true for Khorkina, who had received a Soviet education. She raised her head to see what the little princess looked like.

She saw a pair of blue eyes, which looked so familiar, reminding her of her time in Black Swan Port.

"Renata..." Khorkina rarely lost her composure. She whispered a name, carefully stepped away, and forced herself to calm down.

This girl, this child who looks to be thirteen or fourteen years old, looks so similar to Renata back then, with platinum blond hair and blue eyes, she is simply carved out of the same mold as Renata.

Khorkina also investigated the only missing person in Black Swan Port, and came to the conclusion that she escaped with a terrifying high-risk hybrid, and was finally found on the Siberian railway.

Later, the record was discontinued. Russia was still in chaos at that time, and no one knew where Renata had gone.

Now, she finally met a girl in Kassel who was so similar to Renata. Combined with the events of that year, a terrible hypothesis gradually formed in Khorkina's mind.

She resisted the urge to leave, responsibly persisted until noon, and found Anton in the instructor's dormitory.

"What's wrong, Khorkina, has something happened?" Anton was a little confused and worried that something was wrong with the students.

But Khorkina's words left him stunned...

"One of this year's freshmen is your daughter." Khorkina took a stack of files and threw them to Anton. It was Zero's file. It only had some basic things that were easy to find.

"What are you talking about? I'm not messing around outside." Anton was dissatisfied, opened the file, and saw a face that was exactly the same as Renata's.

"Renata...this...is really incredible..." Anton sighed as he gently touched the photo.

"That Christmas Eve, we all inhaled hallucinogens, and I remember you running towards Renata." Khorkina pressed her eyebrows. "Based on time, this zero...may be your daughter."
