0635 Eight Dou of Talent, Borrow Four Dou

The situation of intellectuals in the late Eastern Han Dynasty was quite difficult.

There were people from Hebei and Shandong who fled because of the Yellow Turban Rebellion, there were people from official schools who fled because Luoyang was burned down, and there were people from Guanyou who fled because Xiliang soldiers looted Chang'an.

These scholars were roughly divided into two groups. One group was in Jingxiang and eagerly awaiting Master Wang's rescue. The other group was in Jiangdong, ready to seize the head of their boss and send it to Master Wang with great joy.

Therefore, the writing style of this era can be summed up in eight words: "If you live in chaos, you will hurt yourself a lot."

This kind of sad but not strong poetry gradually gained the majestic meaning of Kang's sadness after Sancao, forming the so-called Jian'an style.

If we make a simple analysis and roughly divide it, generally speaking, the poetry of this era can be divided into three main types.

The first type is that I am so pitiful when riding a horse!

The second one is quite beautiful here!

The third type, hey, you are so pitiful when riding a horse!

This emotion was fully reflected in the great talent Wang Can in front of him.

He was very talented at a young age and was recommended to Dong Zhuo by Cai Yong.

Of course Wang Can would not agree to being a thief.

But when I heard Cai Yong say that the "Huangmen Shilang" had a formal establishment and was worth 600 shi, which was equivalent to county-level treatment, he walked uncontrollably from his hometown in Shandong to Chang'an.

Halfway through, the Chang'an Rebellion broke out and Dong Zhuo died. At this time, reason dominated him again.

So we headed south halfway to Xiangyang.

Therefore, no one feels more deeply than Wang Can about the matter of "being homeless".

At this time, the sound of reciting in the pavilion had already come to expect Master Wang, hoping that the court would not forget their part.

"The morning breeze passed away in the evening, and I asked you to look forward to it. I look up to the royal family and express my gratitude for its eternal magnanimity. My beloved is out there, who can leave the heavenly official... Shen'er is the master, and the leadership is led by Jiaze. Although the dragon is not used, its ambition is too unrestrained...

…”

Wang Can's poem suddenly touched the empathy of many exiled scholars in Jingzhou, and they all couldn't help but feel sad.

But now that the world is in chaos, where can Master Wang come from?

Although Dong Bai was wise and wise, he stayed in Guanzhong and had no ambition to make progress. The chaos in the world would still last for a long time.

If there is no king, where can the king come from?

When scholars Sun Qi and Cai Mu entered Chang'an this time, everyone congratulated them on the surface, but in fact they were not optimistic about it.

Otherwise, Guanzhong is not far from Yingchuan, so why would no one want to go back now?

The Chang'an in their hearts is not the deserted city under the setting sun, but the prosperous atmosphere of the Han Dynasty and the gathering of humanity.

After everyone was sighing, someone noticed Cui Zhouping who had just come in, and then his eyes fell on the unfamiliar face next to him.

Cui Zhouping didn't wait for anyone to ask, and took the initiative to introduce him, "Uncle Yu is Guo Fengxiao's elder. This time he came to see Cai Zidu off."

Then he explained to Cai Mu, "Uncle Yu and my uncle are both father and daughter. We have some things to say for our son this time."

When everyone heard that he was Guo Jia's uncle, no one dared to make a mistake and they all showed polite smiles.

Guo Fengxiao is not a good-tempered person.

Seeing that no one was making trouble, Yu Xian couldn't grasp the rhythm a little. If no one was pretending, it would be hard for me to slap him in the face.

If you can't become famous through poetry, then you will definitely have a lot of trouble looking for Cai Sheng in the future.

Seeing that Cai Mu was an acquaintance of Cai Yong, Cai Mu did not dare to neglect him and hurriedly came forward to greet him.

Yu Xian thought about it and realized that he really had something to explain.

With his intervention, Cai Wenji was not kidnapped by King Zuoxian of the Southern Huns, but became Dong Bai's right-hand man.

Whether this was a blessing or a curse was difficult for Yu Xian to estimate.

But now, Meilan may return to the world at any time relying on her "bone body", "flesh body" and "soul body". When the time comes, she will definitely rely on Dong Bai's power to regain the land of Bashu.

When the war broke out, Miss Cai, who was holding a battlefield weapon such as the "Kui Niu War Drum", could not stay away from it at all.

Whether it was out of his attitude of taking responsibility for this matter or because of his gratitude to Cai Wenji for helping him in the "Luoyi Ghost City", Yu Xian needed to give a reminder.

However, it was difficult to announce this matter verbally, so Yu Xian had no choice but to ask for pen and paper and write down words of advice to Cai Yan.

After the letter was sealed and handed over to Cai Mu, Yu Xian realized that the scene was a little deserted.

But this is normal.

This was a farewell banquet, and those present were all disciples of high-ranking families. The main purpose of their trip was to restore contact with the powerful ministers in Chang'an City.

They need the important ministers in the court to communicate in time and grasp the trends of the world; the important ministers in the court also need the support of these local nobles to echo internally and externally.

Now Dong Bai suppressed the turmoil in Chang'an and sent envoys to all directions again. Except for Yuan Shu who was unruly, the other two major forces Yuan Shao and Gongsun Zan also expressed their intention to surrender.

Cai Mu and his scholar Sun Qi's trip to Chang'an was somewhat of an ice-breaking trip.

Therefore, please, please, sending letters is the theme of the entire farewell banquet, and singing poems and singing is just the icing on the cake.

Yu Xian put the pen and ink back on the bookcase next to him, and then he discovered a piece of paper under the inkstone.

At a quick glance, there are sentences like "The long road of the world is full of chaos and obstacles..., the wind and clouds disperse, parting is like rain...".

I know in my heart that this is a farewell poem written by Wang Can to Cai Mu.

After watching it for a while, I couldn't help but look up at Wang Can.

Wang Can is known as a young genius with a photographic memory. Although he has long been known throughout the country, he is only seventeen or eighteen years old.

He is not tall and his appearance is not outstanding. He can be summed up in two words, "frustrating and ugly".

Generally speaking, the word "fuchou" must be preceded by the word "poverty".

But when this word is used on Wang Can, it is a bit offensive.

He is the great-grandson of Taiwei Wang Gong and the grandson of Sikong Wang Chang. Even his father Wang Qian served as the long history of General He Jin.

If He Jin hadn't failed to live up to expectations and rushed to the street early, Wang Can would have been properly ranked as the third generation and the third prince.

Someone nearby saw Yu Xian looking at the poem without saying a word, and then looked at Wang Can. He couldn't help but become interested, and said to the side, "Since he is an old friend of Cai Boji, he must be an elegant person, why not write a poem to remember today's events."

When Yu Xian heard this, he hesitated for a moment, and then had an idea.

Wang Can's talent was already at the top of his time. If he had given poems to Cai Zidu, it's hard to say whether he would be able to outshine him. Subjectively, everyone would definitely prefer the familiar Wang Can.

Instead of doing this, he might as well use magic to defeat magic and empathize with this boy Wang Can.

Well, that’s the third version of poetry.

As for the person he wants to learn from, it is naturally Cao Zhi and Cao Zijian who will be invincible in the future.

There is an idiom in later generations called "Eight Dou of Talents". This sentence was said by Xie Lingyun, the originator of the Shanshui School.

He said that there is only one stone in the world, Cao Zijian only got eight buckets, I got one bucket, and we share one bucket from ancient times to the present.

It can be seen that Cao Zijian's talent and poetic style were not only suitable for the physical constitution of the Eastern Han Dynasty baby, but were also recognized and worshiped by the outstanding people at that time two hundred years later.

What's more, Cao Zijian wasn't born yet, so Master Yu wasn't afraid that he would turn into a monster and backfire.

You have eight buckets, I will lend you four.

Isn't this too much?
