699 Yata bird

Akihara under the cover of night.

The Apoqi River flows quietly around the vast plains. Under the illumination of the big moon in the sky, the upper reaches of the river reflect a bright shimmer.

The lower reaches of the river near Chikushi Castle is another scene.

The people who built the Purple City gathered around the Apoqi River to pay homage and release river lanterns.

This is part of the celebrations to commemorate Izanagi.

Above the water, river lanterns of different shapes float, and bamboo strips and colored paper are strong and beautiful.

The orange candles on the river lanterns swayed, and the dots of light were soft and warm, floating up and down in the water waves, like stardust, connecting into a brilliant strip of light, creating a flowing and charming dream on the river.

Peace and beauty, no one wants to break it.

On the edge of the river, in an inconspicuous location away from the crowds of people and grass.

A small figure wanders around.

This is a little girl, and like everyone else participating in the festival, she is also a human grass in Chikushi Castle.

The girl wore a heavy black hooded cloak, with the heavy hem trailing to the muddy ground. Her hood was pulled down so low that others could not see the upper half of her face clearly.

On the face under the bridge of the nose, one can see bloodless lips and somewhat sickly pale skin.

Like some human grass, the girl has some divine abilities and has some "outside of human" characteristics——

There are two pairs of black wings on her back.

These four back wings are huge and can be folded up to completely wrap her up.

The black clothes and black wings make the girl look even more gloomy.

Yata bird.

The people in Chikushi City all call this girl this.

In the hands of the little Yata bird, there is also a river lantern intertwined with bamboo strips and colored paper, which is shaped like a small boat.

She walked to the river bank and folded the wings on her back to block the night wind. Then she carefully lit the river lantern and held it into the river.

Yata bird watched his little river lantern float away with the current, and then interlocked the fingers of his left and right hands and placed them on his slightly bulging chest, which had just begun to grow.

According to the custom of the celebration, people will make wishes when setting off river lanterns.

It is said that the River Lantern Festival carries everyone's wishes and drifts to Lord Izanagi.

"I hope Master Tao Xian can stop working so hard."

The Great Immortal Peach God has always been the manager of Zhuzi City. He is gentle, loving and friendly, and is deeply loved by humans and animals.

There are a lot of human grass in the city, and the young Yata bird has never had any direct contact with Taoxian.

But like everyone else, she loved that adult from the bottom of her heart.

"If Izanagi-sama can hear what I say, then I hope that no one will continue to be trapped in Akihara."

"Also, I hope that other people in the city will stop teasing me or playing pranks on me. Izanagi-sama, I am really a good boy and I have not done any bad things. I can swear that."

Yata Bird muttered softly in a childish tone.

I made three wishes in one breath, but I don't know if I was a little too greedy.

But today is the most solemn millennium celebration in history. Yatatiao thinks that Lord Izanagi should also have a good figure, right?

Above the river, the night wind blows.

Perhaps the weight of the three wishes was too heavy. The lone river lantern released by Yata Bird swayed violently in the small wind and waves before it could float far away and join the other river lanterns.

Down.

The candle above was about to go out.

The bird held its breath, suddenly feeling heartbroken.

But after three to five seconds, the river lantern boat she launched stabilized firmly.

The brightness of the candlelight above also tends to be stable.

"call--"

Yata Bird breathed a sigh of relief.

And at this moment, there was a "whoosh" sound.

A stone flew from behind and hit Yata Bird's small black cloak into the river.

The stone landed a few centimeters away from the paper boat river lantern, and the ripples began to sway the dim yellow light the size of a grain of rice.

Then came the second stone, then the third...

They fell into the river like raindrops.

Yatatiao turned around in panic and saw a group of human children of similar age standing behind her.

Those children are all residents of Chikushi City.

The leading child is named "Oak Er", and his head is like a big acorn.

Yatatiao knows them, but they are not playmates.

The Yata bird has no playmates.

"Oakji, what are you doing! Stop!" Yata Bird became a little angry, with the wings on its back spread out, and his tone was obviously angry.

But the other children ignored her protest and continued to throw stones at the river.

Soon, Yata Bird heard a "dong" sound, and another stone hit the water.

Then the leader, Oak Er, began to cheer: "Hit! Hit!"

The other children also shouted happily.

The Yata bird looked towards the river and saw that the river lantern she had put out had fallen on the water. The warm yellow light that carried her full wishes was extinguished by the river water and no longer existed.

"You...why are you doing this?"

Oak Er's oaken head shook proudly, and he said as he should, "Of course I can't let you put the river lantern out. Who knows what terrible wishes you have made."

"That's right, that's right!"

"Maybe you want to kill everyone in the city!"

"I didn't make a bad wish! You guys are talking nonsense..." The anger in Yata Bird's tone seemed to be extinguished along with the river lanterns, and was replaced by a slapping sound mixed with water vapor.

"Bad people will never admit that they have done bad things!"

"That's right, that's right!"

"My grandma said that wherever you appear, nothing good will happen!"

"You're going to kill everyone in this city!"

The children continued to shout, one voice drowning out the other.

Their shouts and curses could not reach the distant celebration crowd immersed in the lively atmosphere, but they could clearly penetrate into the Yata bird's ears.

This chapter is not over yet, please click on the next page to continue reading! The young bird with its dark wings stood at a loss on the bank of the river, confronting the group of peers.

The river water behind her soaked the hem of her overly long clothes and stained her feathers. The night wind blew her clothes, making her shiver with cold.

The excited children had not yet stopped criticizing the Yata Bird, and their tone became even more intense:

"Wherever you appear, someone will die. The day before Grandma Feng died, I heard you singing beside her house!"

"Before my third uncle fell ill and died, you sang in front of my house."

"Yes, it was you who killed them!"

"Only the underworld will make people die. You are not a person at all, you are a bad guy who escaped from the underworld!"

"I'm not, I didn't! I just heard that they were in pain, and I just wanted them to..."

Yata Bird still wanted to argue, but the children ignored her and didn't care what she said.

Later, I don’t know which child made the move first, maybe it was Oak Er, maybe it was someone else.

The group of children began to pick up stones on the ground and throw them at the Yata bird.

"Go back to hell!"

"You murderer!"

The helpless Yata Bird could only fold the wings on her back and wrap them around her body. Her voice was completely whimpering: "I'm not, no... you... you..."

And those stones, whether blunt or sharp, hurt just as much when they hit her wings as they hit her body.

This bullying lasted for about half a minute.

Until a small, emerald-green ferocious thunderbolt flew out from nowhere.

Boom!

The thunder and lightning exploded in front of the children like Oak 2 and others, extending out spider-like thunder nets, terrifying arcs rolling and sputtering, and the hot air and heat waves shocked Oak 2 and others to the ground.

Such a noise finally alerted other people gathering far away on the river bank.

"Although I don't know what's going on here. But before I seriously educate you brats, enough is enough."

The array of feathers with a black background and intricate gold patterns swayed in the night wind, standing tall in front of the Yata bird.

"Abba Abba!"

The short monk wearing a dark bamboo hat, following behind Yu Zhi, pointed at Yu Er and his group, which probably meant——

It is always wrong to work together to bully others.

Of course, it will be calculated separately when the master is in a team fight.

Kamiyagawa will appear here with the little old man, but he is really just passing by.

He just went to the palace in Zhuzi City and did not find the Great Immortal Peach God.

So I went to the river bank and continued searching.

When I walked here, I happened to encounter a group of children throwing stones at a girl with wings on her back. Although I didn't understand the whole story, I still stopped them.

Akiji's kids were really frightened by the "miniature version" of Dragon Thunder thrown out by Kamiyagawa.

Immediately the birds and beasts dispersed.

"Are you OK?"

Kamiyakawa looked at the little humanoid girl behind him.

"I'm not, I'm not, I'm not..."

The girl still fell to the ground, wrapping herself in jet-black wings, and her four wings kept shaking, as if the attack from Oak Er and the others had not stopped.

After all, Kamiyagawa was the one who raised a "daughter" in his family, so he couldn't bear to see the little girl's pitiful appearance.

So he raised his hand and gently held one of the girl's back wings, trying to pull her up from the ground.

"Well?"

The moment he touched the girl, Kamiyagawa quickly let go of his hand as if he was electrocuted.

He even jumped back quickly and pulled out the boy Che Anzuna with a "clang" sound.

Something is wrong.

Something just felt wrong.

"I'm not...no!"

The girl is still sobbing.

Kamiyakawa narrowed his eyes and looked at her, but saw that the outline of the girl's body quickly became blurred in the night.

Centered around her location, a darkness thicker than night squirmed out like tentacles.

This smell is so familiar.

Extremely filthy, extremely depraved.

It is the breath of Huangquan.

"What happened to her?"

Even Kamiyagawa could not understand the situation in front of him for the time being.

Before he touched the girl, there was clearly no trace of underworld-related aura left on her body.

A few more seconds passed.

At this time, not only was the outline of the human grass girl blurred, but her body was completely engulfed in the thick and flowing darkness like oil, and only her muffled whimpering could be heard that continued to echo.

And the darkness with the aura of underworld has torn a hole in the space on the river bank, pouring out and crowding out.

"Ho...ho..."

Several short humanoid bodies, with rotten flesh and flesh, and unclear outlines, began to appear from the darkness, accompanied by heavy breathing sounds.

Wriggling black maggots can be seen on the bodies of those humanoids.

"These things don't look like Yin gods. At most, they are just Yin soldiers of Huangquan. Or... things contaminated by Huangquan."

An enemy of this caliber is no match for Kamiya.

He pulled his left hand into the air, and the bright, ferocious, and huge Dragon Thunder Spear was held in his palm.

The dazzling lightning tore through the night, illuminated the river, and illuminated the golden-patterned feathers swaying wildly in the heat wave. Electric arcs sputtered, and whips struck the muddy ground like a whip.

Boom!

With a sweep of the emerald green dragon thunder, the rotten and festering human figures collapsed.

The disgusting underworld maggots were also exploded, and the electric arcs chasing each other were burned out.

The darkness with the aura of underworld retracted into the cracks in the space like tentacles.

"that is it?"

Kamiyagawa was quite surprised. It was clear that he was not even warming up now.

But then, he felt something was wrong.

Looking around with condensed pupils, Kamiyakawa noticed that the color of the surrounding environment was quickly fading, especially the river lamp strips on the Apoqi River, which were strangely dim and pale.

The space is turning.

The Apoqi River seems to flow above the head.

Kamiya's senses seemed to be withdrawn from his body, rising lightly.

This chapter is not finished yet, please click on the next page to continue reading the exciting content! He heard the sounds of crying, fighting, and smelled the smell of blood and fire.

I don't know whether it was the Apoqi River below me or above my head. The river lights on the river were completely invisible. Instead, there was filth and blood, soaking the river surface.

Also, Kamiya also saw Tsukushi Castle.

The magnificent and solid city has become dilapidated for some reason.

On the streets of the city, human corpses can be seen everywhere. Half of the red and white paper lanterns are soaked in a pool of blood, and the other half is peeled off and burned.

In the dilapidated and lifeless Chikushi Castle, there are still people and grass that are not dead.

Kamiyagawa saw a familiar figure.

The simple and elegant white silk dress without any pattern decoration was now stained with bloody color.

The human-grass girl named "Sakura" was crying bitterly on the two corpses.

"Daddy...Aniang..."

However, no one could respond to her.

The weird sense of detachment didn't last long.

Before Kamiyagawa could make any attempt to resist, his consciousness seemed to have fallen back into his body.

He found that he was now standing at the gate of Chikushi City with the little old man's body.

This big city is still the same as usual, with strong walls and a magnificent city.

The surrounding environment is a bit dark and the air is a bit cold.

But it was not night at this time, because Kamiya River could see the sun rising on the eastern horizon.

It's sunrise time now.

Kamiyakawa looked towards the little old man.

The scout also had a confused look on his face. It was obvious that even he, who had superior perception ability, didn't know what was happening now.

Then, before Kamiya could analyze and think about the situation, a figure walked towards the city gate from the streets of Tsukushi City.

cherry.

Her elegant white silk clothes were not stained with blood, and her steps were brisk.

When approaching the city gate, the human grass girl quietly looked at the strange and handsome young man outside, while continuing to walk forward. Just when the two sides were about to pass each other, Kamiya called out to her: "Sakura."

The girl turned around immediately, with a slightly confused expression on her face:

"You...recognize me?"
