760 The bride and the little sleeved hands(1/3)

"Run quickly, the spider is coming."

The slender arms emerging from the cuffs of the blue kimono were as soft as boneless, swaying strangely from side to side in the dim warehouse.

Toyama was frightened.

He didn't know what the so-called "spider" meant, but...

run!

There is nothing wrong with running away.

Bang!

The light of the flashlight was swaying wildly, and Toyama knocked out of the warehouse door.

He rushed to the stairway closest to the warehouse.

At this time, he didn't even think about which way to get back to the first floor, whether he should take the stairwell, the escalator in the mall, or take the elevator. He didn't think about it at all and just ran to whichever was closest.

Just as he rushed into the stairwell, Toyama heard a voice coming from below.

Pat, pat...

A very mechanical and noisy footsteps could be heard particularly clearly in the small and dark stairwell.

Toyama shined his flashlight downwards, and there were actually a lot of people in the passage below.

A large number of figures walked upwards towards him in extremely twisted postures.

By the light of the flashlight, Toyama could clearly see that the dark and crowded figures coming up from below were basically not real people.

Instead, they are mannequins wearing clothes.

The surfaces of these humanoid figures are covered with spider silk, and the silk threads pull on their joints and drive them forward, making strange crunching sounds.

"Matsushita?"

Among the mannequins, Toyama also saw a familiar figure.

His colleague, Panasonic.

Panasonic stood with those weird mannequins, also covered in spider silk, climbing the stairs in the same mechanical way.

Under direct light, his face turned blue-grey.

"no no……"

Toyama stepped back suddenly, turned around and ran away.

But those mannequins moved incredibly fast. As soon as he escaped back to the corridor on the fourth floor, he was surrounded by the models who were chasing him.

With my back against the handrail of the corridor on the fourth floor, there was no way to escape.

Immediately afterwards, those mannequins became even more distorted.

Among them, Panasonic fell at the back. In the narrow stairway behind him, several pale arms suddenly stretched out and clung to the wall, and many naked thighs appeared swinging.

Something that looked like a humanoid crawled out hanging upside down.

Toyama saw long flowing hair and a woman's face.

And on that woman's face, there were a bunch of dense red eyes!

"The spider is coming."

Toyama thought of the warning words he heard just now in the warehouse.

Is this what "Spider" refers to?

Why does something like this exist in this mall that has been patrolled countless times before?

Toyama didn't have time to think about this.

He only knew that he was going to die and might soon become like Panasonic.

The mannequin closest to him had already raised his hand to grab him.

It was a female model wearing a white dress.

I could feel the stiff touch on the plastic mannequin's hands, and the sticky spider threads that had climbed up Toyama's body.

And this time.

On the cuffs of the female model's white dress, a golden pattern suddenly appeared.

Slender, white arms that seemed to have no bones came out from under the cuffs.

They grabbed Toyama and threw him directly from the corridor guardrail.

Toyama fell on his back from the fourth floor.

But he didn't feel too strong a sense of weightlessness.

The white dress somehow separated from the original model and floated around him.

The slender arms in the cuffs were pulling and dragging him.

As he neared the ground, those arms were released and retracted at the same time.

boom!

Toyama fell to the ground.

It hurts, but I can still move.

The white dress that followed him shriveled down at the same time and fell at his feet.

What existed inside, the thing with many slender arms, seemed to break away from the dress in an instant and disappear.

"Run quickly."

Toyama heard the girl's voice he had heard before again.

This time, it was from the window of a clothing store behind him.

He looked back.

I saw golden lines flashing on the cuffs of a woman's dress in the glass showcase.

White arms emerged from the cuffs, waving up and down.

Then it disappeared again.

The next second, these slender arms appeared again in the same posture on the women's clothing in the shop window further away.

The thing that saved Toyama seemed to be leaving in this way.

And in one hand of that thing, he was always holding the pearl hairpin he took from Toyama.

"I took your things, but I can only help you so far."

The girl's thin voice was too far away to be recognized.

In fact, Toyama didn't have the energy to identify it anymore.

From the fourth floor of the mall, mannequins fell down one after another and fell to pieces on the ground. The plastic severed limbs were twitched, squirmed, and reassembled in a twisted way under the pull of the spider threads.

The instinct of survival drove Toyama to climb up in pain and escape towards the exit of the mall with all his strength.

Yoshikoji Temple.

It's early morning now.

Mr. Tsurumi received a request for assistance from the Ibaraki Prefecture Countermeasures Office Branch.

It is said that in a shopping mall in Ibaraki, a strange and hurtful incident occurred.

As ghost-talking activities become more frequent in this world, there is a shortage of manpower available for ghost exterminators in various places.

Therefore, the Ibaraki Countermeasures Office hopes that Yoshikoji can provide assistance in this incident.

According to the description of Mr. Toyama, the person involved in the incident, there may be two strange stories that appeared in that shopping mall.

One of them is the ghost story of a spider with a female body.

Very aggressive.

Toyama's companion Matsushita has probably been killed due to the attack of this spider ghost.

In addition, there is another strange story in the mall, which according to the description is suspected to be "Little Sleeve Hand".

Kosode's attitude towards the parties involved in this incident was neutral and friendly, and he also provided key assistance for Toyama to escape from the mall.

Mr. Tsurumi has accepted the request from the Ibaraki Countermeasures Office.

Now he is fully armed and waiting at the entrance of Yoshikoji Temple for the countermeasures room personnel to arrive and go to the scene of the incident together.

Tsurumi Shinchi's family was a practitioner of tachijutsu, but he himself did not have much achievements in this field. He only carried a sword for self-defense and as an additional means of dealing with the battlefield.

In fact, according to the request from the Countermeasures Room, Shinchi Tsurumi was originally intended to use Yoshikoji's auxiliary techniques to provide some support to other spiritual exterminators who were good at attacking difficult situations.
