Chapter 7 Selling Medicines

Su Qing opened the door curtain and saw a black shadow shaking not far away. It was about two meters tall and had no head. She frowned. She was sure that it was definitely a person, and he was still causing trouble.

After Su Wenhai finished relieving himself, he shook Su Qing's arm. Su Qing touched his head and made a silent gesture.

Su Wenhai nodded obediently, and he hugged Su Qing tightly. Su Qing could clearly feel Su Wenhai's dependence on her, and her heart couldn't help but soften. She raised her arms and hugged him, hoping to make him less afraid.

In fact, we can't blame Su Wenhai for being too timid. After all, he is only a five-year-old child, unlike Su Qing who had already changed his core.

The black shadow walked over unsteadily. It was midnight and there was a curtain blocking the door, so the black shadow naturally didn't notice Su Qing and the other two.

The black shadow that was originally coming this way suddenly stopped for some unknown reason. It was so quiet at this moment that even Su Qing couldn't help but slow down his breathing, for fear that he would be caught peeping.

The black shadow panted heavily and walked away slowly. Su Qing waited for a while to make sure that the black shadow would not come back again, and then quickly returned to the house with Su Wenhai.

"Wen Hai, just pretend you didn't see what happened today. Don't tell anyone, including Aunt Jinhua. Do you understand?" Su Qing knows very well that the more you know, the faster you will die, and that black shadow is obvious at a glance.

Those who are causing trouble will most likely be silenced once Su Wenhai is exposed.

Su Wenhai quickly covered his mouth and nodded. He knew that his sister was protecting him and he had to listen to her words.

Su Qing took him back to his room and put him on the side of the bed. He lay on it and held him in her arms, patting his back again and again.

"Sister, do you think the ghost will find us? Otherwise, why would he leave?" Su Wenhai nestled in Su Qing's arms, her little body trembling slightly.

"The ghost didn't notice us. He left because Wen Hai was very good and obedient." Su Qing coaxed him gently.

Seeing that he was still scared, he told him another story about a knight fighting a dragon to distract him. I thought he would fall asleep while listening, but he became more energetic as he listened and kept pulling Su Qing to tell him the story.

It wasn't until dawn that Su Qing squinted for a while.

Aunt Jinhua got up early and prepared to make breakfast. Then she saw Su Wenhai looking at her eagerly at the door of her room.

"Wen Hai, what's wrong?" Aunt Jinhua took his hand and took him to the yard to wash up.

"I want to become a knight to protect my sister. Does Auntie know where there is a knight? I want to become his disciple." He said firmly, leaving Jinhua confused.

"Knight?" Seeing Aunt Jinhua's confused look, Su Wenhai imitated Su Qing and told the knight's story again, waving his little fist from time to time.

Aunt Jinhua couldn't laugh or cry when she saw it. "Auntie doesn't know if knights are powerful, but I know that being a general is definitely a great thing, because a general will drive away all the bad guys."

Su Wenhai's eyes lit up when he heard this. He would also become a general in the future, and then protect his sister, aunt, and brother.

Su Qing probably didn't expect that one of his stories would plant a little general dream in the heart of a five-year-old child.

"Okay, Auntie is going to cook. You should play by yourself for a while first and don't run around." Aunt Jinhua asked Su Wenhai to play by himself and went to the kitchen to make wild vegetable paste with the wild vegetables picked yesterday.

By the time Su Qing got up, it was already three o'clock in the morning. After Su Qing washed up, Aunt Jinhua asked her to eat.

"Su Qing, you guys, please be careful lately, the village is not peaceful." Aunt Jinhua looked sad.

"What's wrong?" When Su Qing heard this, he thought of the dark figure in the middle of the night last night.

"When the Wang family's daughter-in-law went to find Aunt Liu today, she found no one in the house or in the ground. Where can she go as a widow without a family?" Aunt Jinhua said.

"Auntie, don't worry too much. Maybe she just went out to do errands. Let's eat quickly. After we eat, we have to go to the town." As she said this, Su Qing drank another big sip of paste. She thought that she would be rich soon.

, I couldn’t help but feel happy, and the paste was gone in two or three mouthfuls.

………

After the family finished eating, they packed up and took some dry food and set off.

Their village is called Xixiang Village, which is half a day's journey from Xixiang Town. They have a county called Xixiang County, which is surrounded by waterways, so there are many caravans coming and going. Therefore, the people in Xixiang County are relatively wealthy, while Xixiang Town

It's a little bit close, but it's not like I can't even get out one or two copper coins.

It was almost noon when Su Qing arrived in town.

"Sister, look, there are a lot of people gathered over there. It's so lively." Su Wenhai was extremely excited when he came to the town for the first time. He kept chattering along the way. Now he saw people gathered around the town gate.

If there is excitement, go there.

However, Su Wensheng's reaction was completely different. It was also his first time in the town, but he seemed indifferent to everything and looked indifferent.

Sometimes Su Qing can't understand Su Wensheng. She doesn't understand how a five-year-old child can act like a little old man, without any childishness at all. Is it really the child of a poor man who has already become the master?

"Hey, have you heard that Mr. Zhang in this town spent a lot of money to ask for medicine?" said a burly man with dark skin.

"No, I'd rather spend a hundred taels on Ganoderma lucidum. Besides, his son is about to die of illness. Where can he get the Ganoderma lucidum?" said another man, who was a little shorter than the one just now.

, but he has a happy face, which shows that his family life is going well.

Su Qing listened thoughtfully to their chat.

Anyway, she has Ganoderma lucidum in her hand, and she sells it to the pharmacy, and to Grandpa Zhang. It costs one hundred taels, and it might not be able to sell it for such a high price in the pharmacy.

"Brother, I would like to ask where the residence of Mr. Zhang is?" Su Qing asked them.

"This is the largest family in the east of the town." The man said, "Little girl, do you have any medicine? Don't go there whether you have it or not. That Mr. Zhang is not an easy man to deal with." The man looked at it.

The little girl in front of me reminded her kindly.

"Thank you, brother. I don't sell medicine, but I know people who sell medicine." Su Qing answered him in her childish voice, and she said this to avoid some people with crooked ideas and avoid unnecessary trouble.

………

Su Qing asked Aunt Jinhua to take the two little ones to the west of the town for a stroll. There was a Wangji noodle restaurant in the west of the town that was particularly delicious. They made an appointment to meet there at noon.

Su Qing brought Ganoderma lucidum to the outside of Zhang's house. She covered her face with a scarf. She had just heard that the elder brother said that Mr. Zhang's renewal was not easy to get along with, so she had planned this. Anyway, it would be better for her to have an extra layer of protection.

There's no harm either.

"Go away, you beggar, don't beg for food at the gate of Zhang's Mansion." The gatekeeper drove Su Qing away with a look of disgust on his face. It was obvious that he judged people by their appearance.

"Have you ever seen someone begging for food without taking a bowl and covering their face? Have you ever seen someone tidy up and then come to beg for food?" Su Qing said back unceremoniously, you are the beggar and your whole family is the same.

It's a beggar.

Xiaosi was so reviled that he was speechless. Another gatekeeper, Xiaosi, immediately came to the rescue and said, "Girl, don't be angry. That's just the way he is."

"I heard that your master buys Ganoderma lucidum. I have blood Ganoderma lucidum here. Go and ask your master if he can accept it." Su Qing was very polite when she saw this little guy.

The attitude of blaming someone just now.

"Wait a moment, I'll go right away." Xiao Si didn't dare to delay for a moment, and immediately went to find the person in charge.

Their master has been very angry these days because of the young master's affairs, and their lives as servants are not easy.
