Chapter Ninety-Seven: The Monastery of Suan Mountain

After returning to the castle, William walked with his mother and Tina in the garden of the castle and chatted. Tina, the little girl, held William's arm and wouldn't let go. William couldn't do anything to her.

Taking out her arms from her arms, Tina took the little girl and pretended to cry. She pulled William's sleeve and followed him pitifully. William was entangled by her and had no choice but to let her go.

Mother Lina looked at it and shook her head. In the end, she couldn't bear their disgust and drove William away.

William also couldn't stand Tina's enthusiasm. He hadn't eaten meat for several months, and now he couldn't stand being pestered by Tina. His mother drove him away, which was exactly what he wanted, so he ran away without courage.

Back in the study, William turned on the computer and searched for Jacques Saunière of the Louvre on the Internet. After finding the Louvre's phone number, William dialed the number. After transferring the phone several times, he finally found Jacques Saunière.

"Hello, hello, I'm Jacques Saunière, who is this?" An old man's voice came from the phone.

William said directly on the phone: "We are the guardians of the God of Light and the defenders of truth. Holiness and faith are with us, and the Templars will live forever."

Jacques Saunière on the phone was silent for a while and then said: "Who are you and why do you know this sentence?"

William said: "Mr. Jacques Saunière, my name is William Devonshire. My grandfather Henry Winston Devonshire left a message asking me to come to you."

"What, Devon Hill, you are from the Devon Hill family," Jacques Saunière, who called, spoke in an urgent and excited tone.

"Yes, Mr. Saunière, my maternal grandfather Henry Winston Devonshire left a message for me ten years ago. I just found him yesterday. My name is William Devonshire. Your name is William Devonshire.

Maybe you can find my information in newspapers or on the Internet," William said

"OK, wait for me for half an hour and I will call you." Jacques Saunière did not believe William immediately. He only heard William say that he could find his information in newspapers and on the Internet. He wanted to confirm it first before speaking.

William hung up the phone and sat on his desk, silently thinking about what secret it was that the Devonshire family had been guarding for thousands of years. Generations of people had been willing to be executioners to keep this secret.

After waiting for half an hour, William's phone rang. After the call was connected, William heard Jacques Saunière on the other end of the phone say: "I don't know now whether you are William Devonshire, but I can

See you in France, and today, I don't have much time.

If you are a member of the Devonshire family, we welcome your return. We have lost our power for too long. William, come see me. We have been waiting for the return of your Devonshire family for too long.

After ten years, I finally waited for your family to return. William, I have something to show you, and there are many things to tell you. This is what Henry hopes. Today at 2 o'clock in the afternoon at the Monica Café outside the Louvre,

I'll wait for you there." After saying that, he hung up the phone.

William looked at his mobile phone in confusion. What do these words mean? Does it mean that there are no other armed forces besides his own family? If that is the case, this organization must be too crazy.

There's something strange about whether to go or not. What did Jacques Saunière mean when he said his time was running out? He was about to die?

Damn, I just came back and wanted to have some quiet time, but I didn’t expect something to happen to me. Damn, William thought for a moment and decided to go. Now his curiosity has been aroused. It doesn’t take much time to get from Oxford to Paris.

, driving for a few hours is enough.

William checked the equipment in the storage space, turned around and went downstairs to the weapons warehouse in the shooting range to get ten grenades, smoke bombs and other equipment. After getting ready, William found himself drinking tea with Tina.

I told my mother that he would go to France later for business and would not be back at noon.

These words provoked mother Lina and Xiao Nizi Tina to fight against William for more than ten minutes. They said that he was going out again just after he came back, and he didn't even know to stay with them at home, so he was busy with things outside.

After William agreed to accompany them to go shopping three times, he let William go. William wiped the sweat from his forehead when he walked out of the castle. Hey, women are really scary when they are verbose. Tina, that little girl, has her mother to support her, so she is also letting go.

, wait until I come back and I won’t teach you a lesson.

After William drove a Land Rover out of the castle, he went directly to Oxford Railway Station and took the Eurostar to France. It was about 500 kilometers from Oxford to Paris, so there was no rush to drive.

Hurrying up, we finally arrived at Café Monica outside the Louvre at 1:30 noon. William had seen Jacques Saunière’s photo on the Internet. Seeing that he hadn’t come yet, William ordered a lunch at a seat.

I ate and waited.

What William didn't know was that Jacques Saunière had actually arrived at one o'clock, but he had been sitting on the outdoor seat opposite Monica's cafe. He saw William when William just got out of the taxi, but he didn't get up and went directly

Instead of looking for William, he sat there and observed the surroundings to see if anyone was following William, or to see if William came alone.

After William finished his lunch and the time was almost 2 o'clock, Jacques Saunière got up and walked to Monica's Café after making sure it was safe.

The seat where William was sitting could just see the door of the cafe. William saw Jacques Saunière as soon as he came in. William stood up and waved to Jacques Saunière. After the two shook hands, Jacques Saunière asked the waiter for

A cup of coffee, and after the waiter brought the coffee and walked away, Jacques Saunière said: "I didn't expect that I would be able to see Henry's descendants. I thought I would never see anyone from the Devonshire family again in this life.

"

William didn't speak, he still didn't understand why Henry asked him to come to Jacques Saunière.

When Jacques Saunière saw that William had been silent, he was not unhappy at all. Instead, he smiled at William and said, "What has Henry taught you?"

William said perfunctorily: "He knows everything."

Jacques Saunière looked into William's eyes for half a minute. Seeing that William's eyes were clear, he knew clearly that William was not lying, so he nodded happily.

"Very good, very good. I'm very happy that you can follow Henry's instructions and return to our big family. To be honest, without your Devon Hill's power, we have had a very difficult time in the past ten years. When we encounter difficult things, there is no one."

Go and solve it. It would be best if you could come back now. William, I read your information in the newspaper. You are great. Thank you very much for coming to see me. Let me introduce you formally. My name is Jacques Saunière. I am from the Priory.

"The Grand Leader"

William was surprised. He had heard of the Priory of Sion, the full name of the Priory of Sion, the Priory of Sion where Leonardo da Vinci, Newton, and Hugo existed. This was so possible. Isn't this a legendary organization?

Is this related to Devon Hill again?

Jacques Saunière saw William's confusion, "You should know that the ancestors of the Devonshire family are Templars, right?"

William nodded.

Jacques Saunière continued: "After the Templar Knights were massacred on a large scale, because you are English, England was not affected much in that massacre, so after that your family became our Sion Priory.

The last guardian, the biggest secret of the Priory is yours to keep. Henry gave me the secret information storage place and this ring before his death ten years ago. Now it is time to return it to you William."

Jacques Saunière took out a gold medallion ring engraved with the fleur-de-lis. William took it and put it on the little finger of his left hand. It looked good and just right.

Jacques Saunière looked at the time and then said: "I have to arrange some things later. After get off work at 8 o'clock, I will take you to England, to the museum that your family has guarded for generations, and by the way, notify some people to join you. After the initiation ceremony is completed, you will be the elder of our Priory of Sion and the patron knight of the Knights Templar. Congratulations, Knight William."

Are there still knights in this era? Damn it, knights are not free thugs. Damn it, if it’s no good, just play it by yourself. I don’t have the time or energy to accompany you.
