59. Dinner with Champions

When we returned to the cake shop, it was completely dark. Although the cake shop was still open, it looked like no one was in the lobby from outside the door.

Mai poked her head into the shop and looked at the empty cake shop with a confused look on her face.

The cakes on the shelves are basically sold out. It seems that today's cake shop's opening promotion was very successful.

"Out?"

After asking, Luther denied his idea, and the smell of food wafted out from the depths of the cake shop.

"I thought you weren't coming. Welcome. We happen to be having dinner in the courtyard with two guests, shall we?"

The store manager seemed to have heard the noise in the cake shop and came out of the courtyard to greet Mai.

"There are guests here, wouldn't it be appropriate for us to go?"

Neither Mai nor Luther had any intention of moving. They were still not sure whether this was a polite comment.

"Don't you want that grand prize? This grand prize has a little to do with these two guests."

Hearing that the grand prize had not yet been awarded, Mai immediately looked at Luther.

Luther wanted to tell Mai that since the store manager said that this grand prize was related to its customers, it would be very troublesome to get it.

He took advantage of Mai's wandering around the store to take a closer look at the activity column. Oh boy, the row of small words "The right of interpretation belongs to the store" at the bottom made Luther feel like he was going home.

Following the store manager through the back room of the cake shop, Luther could hear the sounds of many elves eating as they approached the courtyard.

Just when she was wondering how many elves the store manager kept in her backyard, Mai suddenly stopped and stood there like a pillar.

Luther was still wandering in his thoughts, and he suddenly knocked his head on the back of Mai's head. One of them was rubbing his mouth, the other was rubbing his head, squatting down in pain.

"Why did you stop?" Luther asked, rubbing his lips.

"Look at the courtyard."

Luther raised his head and felt the hairs on his body were about to explode.

Biting Land Shark, Rose Leido, Menas, Togekiss, Sticky Dragon, Gardevoir, Pumpkin Monster...

The cakes that had expired in the cake shop were probably all in their food bowls. These elves were eating happily, but when they saw someone walking in, they all looked at Luther and Mai.

Pairs of eyes were shining in the darkness, and Luther felt as if he had stepped into a bear trap.

Luther wanted to praise the store manager for not showing his face. The elves in the backyard are amazingly strong and well traveled. There are also many elves in the Kalos area.

Before the words of praise were spoken, Luther saw Sirona at the dining table in the courtyard, and... the passerby who was knocked down by himself and Mai?

Unlike Luther who was stunned, Mai seemed to have forgotten the pain and hurried to the dining table. For her, it was fate to see Sirona here again.

Luther looked at the person next to Sirona and was convinced that she was the passerby he had knocked down in the morning. At this time, she took off her sunglasses and hat, and Luther's feeling of déjà vu became even stronger.

Seeing Sirona looking at him, Luther also walked towards the dining table.

The store manager's wife took some roasted meat from the grill and put it on Luther's plate. Luther thanked her and sat down next to Mai.

"I didn't expect to meet Miss Sirona here." Mai was very excited.

"I didn't expect that the illustrated book holder mentioned by the store manager was you." Sirona replied with a smile, and then turned her eyes to Luther.

"first meet."

"First meeting." Luther nodded in response.

"Ma Yi, do you want to guess who this is next to me?" Sirona added in a teasing tone, "Although she didn't put on makeup today and her clothes were very simple and less recognizable, she is a big celebrity. No.

Do you know if there is room for her signature on your clothes?"

Mai was still frowning and thinking, Luther looked at the chocolate cake on Karuna's plate and subconsciously said: "Champion Karuna?"

Karuna stopped eating cake and watching the show.

"How did you get to know me? My movie or the Kalos Alliance Battle that was shown in the Sinnoh region?"

"No, if I have to say, have you seen it in a dream? Anyway, it looks familiar."

Luther couldn't tell the truth and could only respond vaguely, but this answer made Karuna and Sirona burst into laughter.

Seeing Luther's belated expression again, Mai thought of his behavior during the day and quickly said to Luther quietly: "Why do you want to say such vulgar pick-up lines? Are you a living fossil? Do you need it?"

Go to the black gold market and be processed into a modern person?"

Luther's face instantly felt hot. Fortunately, it was a barbecue dinner and the lighting in the courtyard was relatively dim.

"That's not what I meant, uh...how should I put it?" Luther wanted to explain the question he had just spoken, but could not find a suitable wording.

"Is there anything wrong with seeing it in a dream? Old-fashioned lines have the charm of old-fashioned lines, and they can also leave a deep first impression on people." Karuna seemed to have heard the whispers between Mai and Luther.

Luther felt that no matter how he answered the conversation, it was a torture. Fortunately, Mai was very qualified as a wingman and quickly changed the topic.

"Why did Kaluna come to Sinnoh?"

"Relax yourself." Kalunai replied, "There are always a lot of reporters and paparazzi in Carlos. I feel a lot more free when I come to Sinnoh."

"And can we play with Sirona?" Mai asked.

"You're right, this is also a very important reason."

"Can Miss Karuna tell me, what is the gift that the store manager said is related to Sirona? I just asked Sirona and she didn't want to tell."

Luther ate barbecue and raised his ears. He originally didn't have much expectations for this prize, but now that he was related to Sirona, he had to think about what the prize would be.

Karuna shook her head, indicating that she didn't know either.

The store manager took out all the remaining cakes in the store. Since he had not prepared so much elf food in advance, Luther and Mai's elves had cakes for dinner.

This was definitely a feast for the elf. When Marylou was released, he rushed towards his share of the cake.

Larulus and Dream Demon only loved the layer of cream on the cake, and both of them were licking it quietly.

Shuttlecock Mian looked back at Sirona, then no longer missed it, and turned to his own cake.

"It seems that she already trusts you." Sirona looked at Shuttlecock Cotton and said.

"She may have been waiting for you to go back and pick her up." Luther wiped the oil from his mouth.

"That would be very cruel to her, like charity." Sirona said, "The best thing is to let her choose again and make the right choice."

"Shirona thinks I'm the right person?"

"I have read the information that Dr. Yamanashi gave me many times. The video of you fighting the gym, what happened between you and the Dream Demon, the fact that you were suspected by the Interpol because of the Dream Demon's beating, and your contact with Gray Stone. I

all know."

Sirona's eyes were very clear and her voice was extremely soft: "I think you are indeed qualified."

"I also think shuttlecock cotton is very suitable for me. She definitely made the right choice this time."
