Chapter 264 Hex Pressure Lift

As the highest officer and strongest person in the diplomatic corps, Chai Anping actually had plenty of free time. He only had to report it to save those little old men from worrying.

The round moon rose quietly from the top of the mountain, and as night fell, the entire sky was lit up by stars.

The air quality in Piltover has always been excellent, with the humid sea breeze blowing and the heavy industrial zone in Zaun not affecting it.

Chai Anping opened the roof of Caitlin's private magic carriage and enjoyed the beautiful scenery of Piltover.

They were heading for the Hexpressure Lift to Zaun.

The lights in the distance are bright, and the concentrated beam can shine up to more than 100 meters high. The highly differentiated architecture and technological level have an unexpected cyberpunk style.

Of course it's not that exaggerated - at least there are no aircraft flying all over the sky, and there are no all kinds of colorful light pollution on the streets.

The canals flowing through the city are quietly flowing with clear water. The sea gates at various places perfectly control the water volume. There is a graceful girl dancing on the river bank with a graceful figure. The hazy light shines through the thin gauze to reveal her figure.

Cut out the perfect arc.

The gentlemen stood on the shore in twos and threes, applauding.

Classical music was playing beside the fountain, and the well-dressed scholars expressed admiration.

This scene is indeed very different from Demacia. As the economic and cultural center of the world, Piltover does have some kind of pride.

Chai Anping praised it secretly in his heart.

The high-performance magic carriage drove out of the city, and the bright lights immediately dimmed a lot.

The three of them didn't say anything in the car. Wei saw that Caitlin was in a bad mood and didn't dare to make a mistake at this time. She just sat in the passenger seat and played with a small toy similar to a Rubik's Cube, chewing gum in her mouth.

From time to time, a bubble is blown out and makes a "pop" sound.

More than half an hour later, when Chai Anping began to feel sleepy in the turbulence, the three of them finally heard the roar of the Hex pressure lift.

His spirits were lifted - Zuan was already close at hand!

Wei took out an unused external respiratory filter from the front storage compartment.

"Put it on and don't take it off at any time."

"Don't worry, my side job is actually an alchemist."

"What?!"

"ha?"

Caitlin was driving, and she couldn't help but wave her hands when she heard this.

"Oh... I can barely be considered a Level 4 person now, right? I haven't taken the exam yet."

Level four...that's not low!

Is this just a side job? How old do you think you are, little brother?

The royal family of Demacia can only look like you, right? Caitlin is really getting more and more curious about this girl's identity...

Wei used to work for Hun Zuan, so she knew how much power an alchemist had. Even many second- and third-level alchemists with low-level transformation abilities could control one or two streets.

Those at level four can usually be invited to join some association or organization, and some senior ones can even get the exclusive title of Alchemist Baron.

"Then you are awesome!" Wei was shocked.

"It's okay, it's okay..." Chai Anping scratched his head in embarrassment: "It's just a side job, making some money to support the family."

"Tsk."

Caitlin glanced at the rearview mirror and saw Chai Anping's pride.

They were taking a public transport plane at night. When they got off the car, Chai Anping saw several huge steel pillars with spiers protruding from the factory ahead.

White smoke sizzled under the light, and there were spiral stripes on the pillars.

The factory is built on the edge of a cliff, and further down is the boundary of Zaun.

The open doors in front were full of people, all of whom were going to Zaun. Many of them were out-of-towners and residents who were returning to Zaun to rent a house after work.

"Go in and register."

You need to register your name if you want to ride the pressure conveyor, but it is actually very casual - you just need to fill in a random name, and no one will check at all, unless you are a stranger coming up from below.

Caitlin and the others are police officers and only need to register one person's name.

Chai Anping followed the two of them, and when he entered the factory, he was a little dizzy. The flow of people passing by was blurred by the steam leaking everywhere, and the air was filled with the smell of engine oil and the strong smell of sweat.

Coming out of the dreamlike leather city, it seemed as if I fell into reality all of a sudden.

"Boom! Boom!"

The steel gate made a clanging sound.

"Port A is ready to open!"

The crowd suddenly became turbulent. Chai Anping broke off a hand that was trying to reach into his pocket and followed Caitlin and Wei to the side.

The factory also built a huge platform on the cliff. Chai Anping finally saw the true appearance of those steel pillars:

There are several circular holes on the platform, and three long and thick iron pillars extend from each hole. Each one is three to four meters in diameter. When you look closely, the spiral pattern on it is half a meter deep!

There was a guardrail surrounding the cave, and it was already filled with people.

Because of Caitlin's instantly recognizable face, the three of them avoided the embarrassment of being crowded.

"Besides, besides..."

Soon, a sound similar to that of a steam train running on the rails sounded from underneath the hollow. Chai Anping craned his neck to look.

I saw a huge shuttle-shaped steel cage rising slowly from below. The cage was connected to three pillars by a device on the top - it turned out to be the cable used by the elevator!

Hot steam is constantly sizzling from the connection.

"This thing must weigh at least several hundred tons, right?!"

Chai Anping looked at this creation in surprise. The entire giant cage or "cabin" was divided into four floors. It felt like it could even hold hundreds of people!

"Buzz..."

When the fence opens, the ladder bridge at the edge of the cavity automatically stretches out and connects with it.

"Port A is open!"

"Go up! Go up!"

The crowds swarmed up, and the ladders and bridges creaked under their weight. Chai Anping was a little frightened when he passed - there was an abyss beyond the guardrail!

Some of the more daring ones even climbed directly onto the iron cable and climbed over the steam-filled top.

To be honest...Chai Anping even feels that their method is safer!

Caitlin and Vi have long been accustomed to this scene, and private Hex pressure lifts are not always available.

Chai Anping noticed that three thick cables extended directly into the night. It seemed that the iron cage relied on these three fixed cables to lift.

Due to the influx of people, the elevator inevitably swayed, and the entire machine made a creaking sound.

Half a quarter of an hour later, the entire iron cage was finally filled with people, and the mechanic operating the machinery on the platform wore goggles and pulled the switch.

"The whereabouts of Unit A!"

"boom!"

The three turbines connected to the iron cables began to move, and Chai Anping suddenly had the wonderful illusion of riding an elevator...

It's just that this elevator is not only severely overloaded, but also hollow and in a viewing style.

As soon as they left the platform, the wind in the canyon quickly swept everyone around. With the thin light in the iron cage, Chai Anping saw countless supporting steel bars under the platform, crisscrossed into the cliff.

Then the vision was shrouded in darkness, and when I looked down... only then did light emerge from the ground.
