Chapter 1015: The Great Road II

The army passed through the Kingdom of Dalaran, a magical kingdom that used to be famous on the mainland. It had been completely eaten by the orcs, and only the ruins of countless villages were seen along the way.

It's a pity that Dalaran mages never dared to take revenge, and Dalaran is still an accomplice of the orcs.

Varian couldn't help but lament that the orcs had brought too many disasters to Azeroth.

The army entered Silverpine Forest, and Varian saw the towering Greymane Wall in the distance, with a mocking smile on his lips.

Varian has always looked down upon this country that hides behind high walls. Troubled times are a good opportunity for heroes to rise up and make contributions. If you stay behind closed doors, you will slowly die.

Varian thought a lot. If he recaptured the Undercity and conquered Silvermoon City, would he need to include Gilneas in his pocket?

Otherwise, the vast tracts of land in Lordaeron are beyond the reach of the Kingdom of Stormwind, and King Genn Greymane will be given an advantage in vain.

This is really the worry after victory!

The 100,000-strong army was not blocked and smoothly entered Tirisfal Glades and approached the Undercity.

From the outside, the Undercity looks no different than usual, as quiet as a ghost town.

Varian recalled the last time he entered Undercity. It was five years after the Dark Portal. Stormwind City was captured by the orcs and the kingdom was destroyed.

Young Varian, led by Sir Lothar, asked for help from the Kingdom of Lordaeron.

It should be the most unforgettable memory in life, but strangely, Varian has no impression at all. It seems that this piece of memory is missing in the first place.

Varian shook his head and didn't think much about it. Now that the war was imminent, he had to plan carefully.

Varian divided the 100,000-strong army into three parts, which formed the horns of each other, and stationed themselves in the Nightmare Valley near the Undercity. In order to prevent the tragedy of the Wrath Gate from happening again, the army chose to camp in high places as much as possible.

Not long after the Alliance army arrived, Thrall led the Horde army to arrive.

Now there is no time for the orc recruits to be replenished. Thrall only brought two thousand orcs, plus a small number of Forsaken, tauren, trolls, and blood elves, the total number barely exceeded three thousand.

Varian even had the urge to wipe out the Horde directly, kill Thrall, the biggest problem in his heart, and then attack the Undercity.

But when he learned that Jaina and Thrall were accompanying her, they immediately put an end to this idea. None of the court mages brought by Varian could suppress Jaina.

Soon, Thrall sent a messenger and agreed to cooperate with the Alliance in three days. The Horde would attack the Undercity from the main entrance, and the Alliance would attack from the sewers.

Things seemed to be progressing very smoothly, and three thousand soldiers were enough to attack the Undercity.

Even if Varimathras sets a trap in the Undercity, the loss is bearable compared to a hundred thousand troops.

After that, Varian can easily eliminate the Horde. Although it is impossible to kill Thrall with Jaina's teleportation spell, he can drive the Horde out of the Eastern Kingdom.

Thinking of Sylvanas Windrunner, the fooled King Varian became more and more angry. Taking over the Undercity and making the Forsaken homeless was the greatest punishment for her.

Three days later, the battle against the Undercity officially began.

Relying on the many court mages around him, and for his own ideals, Varian personally led his troops to attack the Undercity.

Before the battle began, Varian gave a speech to boost morale.

"Warriors of the Alliance, now is the opportunity to attack the Undercity. We will personally deal with all the enemies and regain Lordaeron for the Alliance."

Varian deliberately stalled for time. After the war between the tribes started, the alliance's three thousand troops entered the sewers. Varian was not in a hurry and was worried about Varimathras' trap.

The torches illuminated the dark sewers of the Undercity, startling a large number of bats.

The Forsaken have no excretory function and do not need water to clean their bodies. After Sylvanas occupied the Undercity, the sewers were basically abandoned.

The strange thing is that there are no traps in the Undercity, and there are not even many resisters. There are only some unconscious undead creatures that slightly block the progress of the alliance.

These low-level undead creatures are the failed products of transforming the Forsaken, have low combat effectiveness, and are generally used as cannon fodder.

Under the protection of many royal guards, King Varian took the lead and killed countless undead with overwhelming force.

Is this the resistance of the Undercity? Where is the so-called trap?

Varian felt baffled by the smooth battle. Soon, three thousand troops reached the royal area. Except for a few soldiers falling down, the losses were minimal.

The battle in the Undercity seems to be coming to an end. Although Varimathras is a Dreadlord, his personal strength is not strong.

Varian doesn't want to offend the Burning Legion, so he can just drive them out of the Undercity.

The Alliance rushed into the royal quarter of the Undercity, and Varian was surprised to find Varimathras floating in the air, with the Royal Apothecary Society next to him.

On the opposite side, the tribe led by Sal was smaller than expected, with less than five hundred soldiers. Sal was very proud, as if waiting for something.

Seeing King Varian, Thrall opened his mouth and said with a ferocious smile:

"King Varian, I am glad that you can come to the Undercity. I know you will not let me down. Whenever the tribe faces a desperate situation, there is always a human king who can stand up and help us out of the predicament. Your father

King Llane, King Terenas of Lordaeron, now it’s your turn, my dear Varian, all human kings are good friends of the orcs.”

Varian smiled contemptuously and said, "Thal, you won't be able to laugh anymore soon."

The strange thing is that Thrall is only surrounded by an expressionless Jaina, and Sylvanas is not here, which makes Varian a little disappointed.

Thrall laughed loudly and said: "Varian, don't you understand? Orgrimmar is short of military rations now, and it was you who sent us 100,000 human flesh and blood in time."

Varian said confidently: "I don't understand where your confidence comes from. Without Jaina, you would never have thought of getting out of the Undercity."

The Dread Lord Varimathras was a little unhappy: "Have you forgotten that I am the master of the Undercity? Haha, here comes my favorite part of dividing the spoils again."

Varimathras' evil gaze swept across the audience:

"Thall, the flesh and blood of 100,000 humans belong to you, and the bones belong to Sylvanas. They will become the materials to build the Forsaken. I can also send some souls as a reward to Sylvanas. As for you, Val

King Leian.”

Varimathras thought for a moment, smiled evilly and said:

"Because of your outstanding contribution to the tribe, you will get what you want. I guarantee that you will become a great emperor who can rival Thoradin. Countless people will spread your name, and you will make a big splash in human history.

Extraordinary."

Varian laughed:

"Varimathras, your jokes are very funny. Thrall, today is the end of you. Take your life."

King Varian gave the order and took the lead in charging towards the tribe led by Thrall.

Varimathras smiled sinisterly, and Varian suddenly felt weak and unable to hold the sword in his hand. When he looked at the soldiers around him, they all fell to the ground.
