Chapter 1042: The savior of the tribe

Everyone in the Stormwind Kingdom was united and mobilized troops to serve the king, preserving the rule of House Wrynn.

But who could have imagined that he would be betrayed in an instant.

The chaos potion mutated these generals. Captain Grayson turned into a ghost, Captain Bailey Grubb turned into a huge wild boar, and other commanders turned into fishmen, ooze monsters, jackals, vultures and other strange things.

Strange creatures.

The banquet hall turned into a monster convention in an instant. The commanders almost went crazy and questioned King Varian, but unfortunately all they heard were strange voices.

No one can understand their language.

The guards of Stormwind Fortress rushed in and captured these aliens with ease.

Sal had a ferocious look on his face, clapped his hands and walked in. Looking at these poor commanders, he laughed and said sarcastically:

"I have long said that humans are only worthy of becoming the food of the orcs. It's a pity that you just don't believe it and insist on resisting your own destiny. Look at you, how pitiful and weak you are. Varian, you have done a good job.

Successfully saved Azeroth."

Varian showed an unbearable expression. He had not yet learned to have a hard-hearted heart. He waved his hand and said:

"Forget it, let them go, don't hurt their lives."

These aliens were expelled from Stormwind City. Not long after, some rare creatures with names appeared on the land of Azeroth. No one knew where they came from.

Sal sneered:

"Your Majesty the King, after solving these commanders, the 100,000-strong army is leaderless and has been recruited under your command. Now that the Scourge is plotting to destroy Azeroth, you need to help the orcs attack Icecrown Citadel. Hum, I want to tell you clearly.

Arthas, if you want to destroy us orcs, you must step over the corpse of the Alliance."

Varian was submissive. Facing the terrifying Medivh, who could overthrow the kingdom by one person, the royal power had no effect at all, so he had no choice but to agree.

It was already midnight, and Varian returned to the room. In the parallel world, Varian believed in Fela, the mother of the earth.

Although there is no legend of Fela in this world, it could not stop Varian from praying. He knelt on the ground piously, cupped his fists with his hands and said:

"Fela, the kind mother of the earth, your love nurtures the whole world. It's not that I'm vicious or ungrateful. I'm just coerced, helpless, and forced to act. Please forgive me for my fault. If God gives me a chance,

I must resist this tragic fate."

Praying is just to seek psychological comfort, or to make excuses for his cruelty. Varian does not believe that miracles will happen.

"Are you really willing to resist?" A voice echoed in Varian's ears.

This was the voice of a man, obviously not the Earth Mother Fera. Varian raised his head and looked around in surprise, asking: "Who are you?"

"I will give you a chance to choose. You, the 100,000 soldiers of Stormwind City, and the millions of people of Stormwind Kingdom, your life and death depend on your thoughts. I hope you will not let me down."

Varian was confused and didn't know what was happening.

Suddenly there was a rumbling sound outside the window. Varian hurriedly opened the window and saw two archmages fighting in the sky above Stormwind Fortress.

One of them was in a miserable state, with disheveled hair, a gray robe in tatters, and a damaged left shoulder. He was seriously injured, but no blood flowed out. He didn't look like a flesh and blood body. He was the guardian Medivh.

The other one was hidden in the shadows, and a large amount of magic poured out with his hand, causing the whole world to change color. Medivh was no match at all.

Medivh yelled: "Kel'Thuzad, you don't have to be proud for a few days. The wheel of fate has been activated. The Scourge will inevitably perish. This time it is just a tie. Let's fight again next time."

After saying that, Medivh hurriedly used the teleportation spell to escape.

"Kel'Thuzad, the Scourge."

Varian's heart trembled. They said that the Scourge had weakened, but he didn't expect that Kel'Thuzad was so powerful that he could defeat Medivh without the ability to fight back.

He was just Arthas' lieutenant, so how powerful was the Lich King Arthas?

Robbie's face was hidden in the shadows, appearing in front of Varian like a ghost.

Varian asked anxiously: "Are you the Lich King Arthas?"

Robbie did not admit or deny, he just said:

"Your Majesty the King, before you, many Varians have been eaten by orcs. As long as you do a small thing, the Scourge is willing to provide you with shelter and protect you and the safety of the Kingdom of Stormwind, and the rule of House Wrynn

It will continue.”

A green-skinned body was thrown in front of Varian. It was Thrall who was tightly tied up. Thrall's mouth was gagged and his eyes showed pleading.

Robbie made a gesture of invitation: "Just kill Sal."

"Thank you, Mother Earth Fela!"

Varian drew his sword and pointed the tip at Thrall's throat.

At this moment, Varian thought a lot, and the sword in his hand trembled slightly, unable to move.

Robbie looked at Varian's struggling expression and shook his head in disappointment.

Although this Varian is a son of a run-down nobleman, he has been in the upper class for many years, and he understands the darkness of politics and is a very smart man.

Smart people only do smart things.

Robbie sighed softly: "Varian, you have one night to think about it. I hope your decision will not disappoint us."

After Robbie left, Varian paced back and forth anxiously.

Killing Sal with his own hands was his dream, but when the real thing came, his political wisdom told him that this matter was not that simple.

Sal made a whimpering sound, as if he had something to say.

Varian hesitated and took out the rag from Thrall's mouth.

Thrall knew that his life depended on Varian's thoughts, so he hurriedly advised:

"Varian, don't believe the lies of the Scourge. The Scourge is an enemy of the entire Azeroth. They are deceiving you with low-level lies."

Varian frowned fiercely and said loudly:

"Thall, don't try to deceive me. I know that the Scourge is protecting the Alliance. Without the Scourge, Stormwind City would have been occupied by the orcs, and the human race would have been eaten up by the orcs."

"This Varian is a little clever!" Thrall rolled his eyes and thought for a moment:

"Yes, Varian, although you have not been in this world for a long time, your analysis is very accurate. I have never deceived you. The destruction of mankind is doomed. The Wrynn family can only achieve this by betraying mankind."

Keep going, this is your only chance."

Varian angrily pulled out his sword and pointed it at Thrall's throat: "So you become a shameless traitor in exchange for your own life?"

Thrall smiled ferociously and said, "This is not betrayal, but a wise choice. Although Kel'Thuzad defeated Medivh, you should know that there is a true god behind the orcs, the moon god Elune, who is protecting us.

If you are rational, you should know who is the final winner."

After hearing this, Varian sat down on his chair. Ever since he entered this world, the fear of the moon god Elune has been echoing in Varian's ears.

Varian suddenly remembered something and asked: "Thall, were all the previous Varians eaten by the orcs?"

Thrall did not deny it and said with a smile: "Most of them were eaten by the orcs, just because they were not smart enough, and you are a smart person."
