Chapter 1065: Chaos War

Varian placed the human soldiers in the center, slightly behind, and the gnolls and murlocs on the left and right respectively.

Although humans are just a miscellaneous army composed of the old, weak, sick, and nursing children, they are Varian's own race after all, and they are used to protect Varian's safety.

The jackals and murlocs are the main force, and they are placed on the two wings to prevent them from getting into a melee.

Before the battle of the Argent Crusade, Fording gave a speech as usual.

I saw Fording riding a tall horse, wearing golden armor, standing in front of the formation and saying loudly:

"Warriors of the Silver Crusade, before you are the enemies who are plotting to destroy Azeroth, humans from the Alliance. They are despicable and shameless, and are the most evil creatures in Azeroth, as disgusting as the evil Scourge.

For the sake of Azeroth, destroy the evil humans."

Although most of the Silver Crusade were humans, they seemed to have forgotten and shouted along with Fording: "Destroy the evil humans."

Fording was in high spirits and continued to shout:

"Evil humans must be eradicated, leaving no one behind. Only the orcs are the only noble race, for the great savior Thrall... No, for the benevolent Warchief Garrosh, for Azeroth, the warriors

Let's charge."

"Go ahead and kill all the despicable humans for Azeroth."

The Silver Northern Expeditionary Army shouted slogans and launched a charge.

Jackals and fishmen had seen such formations before. When they heard that they were going to kill all the humans, the humans in front of them launched a charge towards their own side, and they immediately fell into chaos.

At the beginning of the battle, a group of gnolls turned around with their heads covered. They couldn't tell the difference between Varian's army and the Silver Crusade, and headed straight towards the central army to kill them.

This group of soldiers that Varian forcibly recruited were all here to make up for the numbers, and they were easily cut through by the gnolls. Seeing the large group of gnolls coming to kill, Varian, who was sitting in the center of the army, was frightened to death.

Fortunately, the Royal Guards in the Undercity were very powerful and successfully blocked the gnoll attack and protected Varian in retreating. Varian was frightened and was almost eaten by the gnolls.

Fording's life was equally difficult.

As soon as the battle started, the murlocs were in chaos, but murlocs naturally like to unite. Large groups of murlocs gathered together, formed several teams, and rushed in all directions.

One of the murloc teams successfully broke through the Silver Crusade's defense line, reached Fording, and almost killed Fording.

Jackals and murlocs are both weaker than humans. If they fight one-on-one, their combat effectiveness is definitely not as good as that of humans, but they are better in numbers.

Unfortunately, the soldiers of the Silver Northern Expedition were generally underfed and were so weak that walking had problems. They were unable to withstand the attacks of jackals and murlocs.

At first, the Silver Crusade was still able to form a formation and charge, but soon the formation was in chaos due to the unorganized fighting between the Jackals and Murlocs. They were divided among the chaos and fought independently.

Fording had no choice but to lead the elite troops around him and continuously penetrate into the battle formation to integrate the scattered Silver Northern Expeditionary Army.

As the Silver Northern Expedition fought, they discovered that the real enemies were these jackals and murlocs. The gnolls and murlocs fought with each other again, and soon became a mess.

In the end, three camps were formed: jackals, mermen, and humans. Varian was surrounded by the rebels, and he actually stood with Fordring, and the two of them fought side by side inexplicably.

This messy battle lasted for a short while, leaving corpses everywhere and rivers of blood flowing.

The jackal team collapsed first and fled in all directions.

Many gnolls fled into the dense forest and settled here ever since, constantly harassing the surrounding residents and causing countless troubles to the Forgotten.

Not long after, the murlocs also fled, and many murlocs fled to the coast of Tirisfal Woods. Because there were no natural enemies, the murlocs multiplied in large numbers and became the overlords of the Tirisfal coast.

After the battle, although the 10,000 Silver Northern Expeditionary Army suffered heavy losses, they successfully retained their formation, and Varian became Fordring's prisoner without any accident.

Looking at the undead Varian, Fording looked gloomy and pointed at the corpses on the ground and said:

"Shameless King Varian, this is all your fault. Do you know your guilt?"

Varian retorted stubbornly: "Fording, have you forgotten? I am the king of Stormwind City and the leader of the alliance. You are committing a conspiracy."

Fording sneered sinisterly and said: "Varian, you should understand that I am loyal only to the noble orcs and will never recognize this insignificant king like you."

During the melee between the two sides, a small team secretly escaped from the sewer.

Varian and Fordring started a war, and the Undercity was heavily guarded. Unexpectedly, Thrall bribed the merchants in the Undercity and discovered a secret passage.

This passage is deep in the sewer, and you need to hold your breath to swim through a long period of sewage. Fortunately, Sal is a shaman and used underwater breathing for himself and others.

The sewage was full of putrid smell, and occasionally rotting corpses could be seen. In order to escape for their lives, Sal and his party could not care about anything else.

Thrall poked his head around and carefully poked his head out of the mud. When he found that this place was already outside the Undercity, he immediately beamed with joy and whispered:

"I knew that Varian was an unreliable guy. Hmm, with an army of half a million, I don't think he can even raise an army of 50,000."

Wojin on the side wiped the mud off his fangs and whispered:

"The savior is clever. He used Varian to delay and successfully confused Sylvanas. She would never have thought that you had already planned to escape, oh, no, retreat."

Thrall was proud and sneered: "I have already predicted that Sylvanas will betray us to Garrosh. We must not sit still and wait for death."

Eitrigg behind him said worriedly: "After this battle, the Kingdom of Stormwind has been completely destroyed. But what should we do? Garrosh is in the ascendant and has the support of the angels. I am afraid that the two guardians will also stand by them.

Side."

It was said that those who escaped with Sal were all his cronies. After hearing this, everyone looked gloomy and sad for their future.

In this most difficult moment, everyone has expressed their opinions.

Someone suggested going to Theramore and joining Jaina, but Thrall rejected it.

Some people also suggested taking refuge in Ironforge. Thrall thought for a long time and finally shook his head.

Some people suggested returning to the outer lands and settling in the warm Nagrand, but Thrall refused without hesitation.

In the end, it was Sal who made the decision.

"Everyone, before we reach the most desperate moment, I secretly built a luxurious palace in the Swamp of Sorrows. The wealth is piled up like a mountain, enough for us to live for ten lifetimes. I have a hunch that Garrosh's warchief will not be able to serve for a few days. He just has to wait.

If the situation changes, I will definitely make a comeback."

Vol'jin was surprised. He didn't know anything about it. Looking at Eitrigg on the side, he had the same surprise on his face. Sure enough, Thrall had another henchman.

Of course, as the saying goes, the cunning rabbit has three burrows, and Sal definitely has more than one palace.

The group of people disguised themselves as passing tribal adventurers, rented dozens of griffins in Silverpine Forest, and flew to the Swamp of Sorrows at night.
