Chapter 1600: The Queen's Palace

Luo Ning took a few steps forward and looked at the orc death knight in front of him. This violent monster had scarlet eyes, a pair of sharp fangs, and was breathing heavily.

This reminded Luo Ning of the night two years ago, when he faced Talon Blood Demon. That was when the tragedy began.

Death Knight's strength is far inferior to that of Talon. If Ronin were to deal with him, he would be more willing to use fireball.

Against low-level undead, the Holy Word spell with a low success rate has no practical value.

However, Ronin guessed what Nekros wanted, the Holy Word that could kill Talon Bloodfiend.

The mages of Dalaran are very stubborn and believe that Holy Word has no research value.

Luo Ning is different. He has an active mind. Since two years ago, he has been thinking about how to improve the success rate of Holy Word.

Unfortunately, Luo Ning's improvement of Holy Word failed, so he found another way and succeeded.

Luo Ning muttered words, casting the Holy Word spell a little slower than normal, and then, a little light fell on the death knight.

In this short moment, Luo Ning repeated the Holy Word spell a hundred times, almost draining his mana.

Since the success rate is low, use quantity to win.

One hundred Holy Word spells fell on the death knight's body at the same time, instantly igniting it. Milky white flames burned blazingly, burning the rotting flesh from the inside out.

The death knight knelt on the ground in pain, letting out horrifying screams. In order to seek relief, he knelt down and kowtowed to Luo Ning, begging bitterly.

Luo Ning was indifferent, with an indifferent look on his face.

Of course, he didn't know how to speed up the process.

After struggling for a full quarter of an hour, the death knight was burned until only a few white ashes were left. The orcs around him looked at Luo Ning with a different look, as if they were facing a demon.

Nekros hurriedly stepped forward to check and exclaimed: "Is this the Holy Word Technique?"

Luo Ning nodded, and in order to avoid suspicion, he immediately added: "Holy Word is only effective on undead creatures, and is completely useless on living creatures."

Nekros is a warlock and also knows some shamanic methods, but unfortunately he cannot learn the Holy Word.

"You have proven your worth. From today on, you are my most distinguished guest."

Nekros waved his hand, and the orcs all knelt down and saluted Ronin. An orc brought a chair for Ronin to sit down, which was only slightly lower than Nekros's seat.

Luo Ning sat down beside Nekros unceremoniously, and the latter grinned with satisfaction:

"Then what do you want? I can grant you anything except freedom."

Luo Ning pointed to Vereesa's bow and arrow: "Is its owner okay?"

Nekros looked at Ronin meaningfully: "You mean that elf, the knight of the Silver Hand abandoned her, and we plan to use her to train the young dragon. If you like it, she will be yours. If it is changed to

I, I will choose a strong and plump female orc, don’t you think about it carefully?”

"I want her!" Luo Ning insisted.

Nekros gave an order, and two orcs brought Vereesa up. She did not suffer except for being a little weak.

Vereesa looked at Luo Ning in surprise. Who would have thought that the situation would turn around and Luo Ning would become the orc's guest.

"Maybe Ronin was originally a spy of the Dragonmaw clan." Thinking of this, Vereesa's face darkened.

Necros pointed at Vereesa: "From today on, she is your slave girl, servant, slave, and personal property. You can treat her however you want. You can also use her as food when necessary."

Luoning felt Vereesa's anger, and in order to clear up the misunderstanding, he said in a neither humble nor overbearing tone:

"Thank you very much, Master Nekros. As a prisoner, I don't know what I can do to help you?"

After hearing "prisoner", Vereesa's attitude obviously changed, and Nekros's eyes fell on his wooden prosthetic leg:

"As long as you are willing to cooperate, you will always be my honored guest. I will let you do what you can. Please come with me."

Nekros stood up, held the Demon Soul tightly, and walked deeper into the cave. Although he was lame on one leg, he was extremely stubborn and refused to be helped.

The Dragonmaw clan spent a lot of energy to develop a complex cave system.

The first thing I saw were cells. The prisoners were listless. Unfortunately, Duncan Santeris was locked in a cell. When he saw Ronin and Vereesa passing by, he hurriedly grabbed the railings and begged loudly:

"Save me, don't let me die here, help me."

Luo Ning was too busy taking care of himself, so naturally he couldn't help him and pretended not to see it.

Nekros turned his head and glanced at Luo Ning: "Your friend?"

Luo Ning thought. It would be good to have a handle in Nekros's hands, so he nodded:

"He is my guard leader. We have a very good relationship, as close as brothers."

Nekros smiled happily: "As long as you are willing to cooperate, I guarantee that nothing will happen to him."

The further inside, the richer the smell of flames in the air became. This was a condensed, purified, and branded magic element that Luo Ning could not use.

Luo Ning's heart was pounding. Such a powerful flame could only belong to a dragon.

Red Dragon Queen Alexstrasza.

Having the opportunity to meet the Red Dragon Queen, Luo Ning was secretly delighted. If he could rescue the queen, his mission would be over. He could return to Dara and become famous and reach the pinnacle of his life.

Hearing that the red dragon woman was most afraid of the devil's soul, Luo Ning secretly stared at the golden disk in Nekros's hand.

With Vereesa's help, it won't be difficult to grab it.

Luo Ning was worried that this thing might be engraved with a brand, and only Nekros could use it. Before he could figure out the situation, Luo Ning decided to wait and see.

The temperature in the cave was getting higher and higher, and Nekros stopped in front of a flame barrier.

"From now on, you must stay close to me and don't stay away from the light of the Demon Soul, otherwise you will be burned to ashes immediately."

The Demon's Soul worked. Nekros raised it high above his head, and golden light enveloped an area. Ronin and Vereesa quickly leaned over and felt much cooler.

Holding the Demon Soul high, Nekros took the lead through the flame barrier.

The cave inside was more complicated. Luo Ning saw many dragon eggs scattered randomly in the cave.

Everywhere you look is filled with dazzling red fire, and the pure fire element is so rich that it cannot be dissolved.

Luo Ning had long heard that dragon eggs could only hatch under certain circumstances. The thought of meeting the Red Dragon Queen soon made his heart pick up in his throat.

Suddenly his eyes opened up, and he reached the largest cave at the bottom of the mountain. Luo Ning heard the sound of a lot of flapping wings.

In the red firelight, a huge dragon shape could be vaguely seen, and Luo Ning guessed that it must be the Red Dragon Queen.

However, when I got closer, I realized that it was just a tall dragon-shaped palace, made entirely of red magic crystals. It looked like the work of an orc, and the techniques were very rough.

On a large round spar bed, there lay a graceful and luxurious woman, wearing a bright red tight-fitting armor, with two dragon horns exposed from her thick red hair.

There were many red baby dragons toddling around, but they did not dare to take a step closer to the big bed.

The Red Dragon Queen in human form.

Luo Ning guessed that this palace must have some kind of restriction that caused the Red Dragon Queen to lose her freedom.

Something unexpected happened. Necros held the Demon Soul high and knelt on the ground, respectfully saying:

"Dear Queen, my master, I have fulfilled my mission and brought Luo Ning."
