Chapter 206: A tragedy destined to be unchangeable II
The night is hazy, the sunwell under the moonlight, the bright light is slightly convergent, hazy like a fairyland, with a strange and quiet beauty.
"No, no, this result is too strange."
With the experience of calculating the magic shield of the Sunwell last time, the calculation speed this time is much faster.
But the result surprised Kel'Thuzad.
Kael'thas reminded carefully from the side: "Guardian Medivh has strengthened the magic shield of Silvermoon City."
"That's the weirdest thing."
Kel'Thuzad checked the calculation process in detail and found that there were no errors before confirming:
"The strength of the magic shield has not been strengthened, but has weakened a lot. Medivh has blessed the shield with an unknown magic, causing the shield's strength to drop greatly. Strange, what kind of magic is it? Kael'thas, you
Do you know what Medivh’s purpose is?”
Kael'thas looked at his old friend who had turned into a lich and had a gloomier expression, and replied timidly:
"I haven't been back to Silvermoon City for long, and as you know me, apart from being proficient in the fire magic inherited from my family, I don't know much about these weird heresies."
"You should learn, Kael'thas, don't waste your talent. There is no heresy. It is great magical knowledge and the crystallization of wisdom." Kel'Thuzad warned with all his heart.
Kael'thas shrugged his shoulders indifferently. It was obvious that beautiful girls and gentle ladies were more attractive than boring magic knowledge.
"The weakening of the magic shield in Silvermoon City is a good thing for us. No matter what the conspiracy is, there is no need to worry. If the magic shield breaks, Medivh's conspiracy will inevitably disappear."
Arthas looked happy, took a step forward, and raised Frostmourne:
"Without further delay, the Scourge will launch an attack immediately to eliminate the damn green-skinned orcs. It's time for Thrall to pay for his blood debt."
The Scourge Legion stationed next to the Sunwell and the elves of Kael'thas set off almost at the same time, rushing in the direction of Silvermoon City.
For some reason, Robbie felt extremely uneasy.
Eternal Dragon Toki said that history is destined to be unchangeable.
Guardian Medivh's understanding of history went even further. He said that time is like a slowly flowing river. Only the surface of the river remains unchanged, but there are hidden turbulences and dense reefs inside, hiding countless secrets.
The guardian also said that time is not linear, like a clump of thread that cannot be sorted out, and the clues of cause and effect cannot be distinguished.
If the Scourge destroyed the orcs tonight, it would be equivalent to rewriting history.
Although it is entirely possible that another group of orcs will appear, and one of the orcs will identify themselves as Thrall, maintaining the original appearance of orc history.
But the history of Silvermoon City has been changed, thousands of people are about to be saved, and the high elves have survived, thus changing the course of history.
Unless a surprise force descends from the sky and destroys Silvermoon City? Or, Arthas suddenly turns dark.
Robbie stared at Alsace, who had a serious face, was rational and calm, and felt that this was impossible. A person's sudden personality reversal was incredible, unless he had been acting in front of him all the time.
Even if Arthas does accidentally turn evil, Robbie will definitely do his best to stop him.
Just tonight.
Or change history.
Or, witness the great power of time with your own eyes.
Silver Moon City is destined to be unrest tonight.
The Elf King Anasterian was particularly agitated. It was still early for him to go to bed. The Elf King summoned his personal guards. He decided to walk around Silvermoon City. Whenever something big happened, the Elf King would always have some premonition.
Unfortunately, the prophecy crystal was destroyed and the Elf King could not get guidance.
The protesting crowd in front of the palace still did not disperse, and some people held up a caricature.
It was an orc devouring the brain of the Elf King. The mouth full of sharp teeth was bloody and terrible. The old and feeble Elf King was unaware of it. He raised his hands and shouted loudly: "The Orcs are the saviors of Azeroth."
The Elf King shook his head. They were a group of ignorant people who did not understand the situation of Silver Moon City at all.
Seeing the Elf King appear, some people stepped forward to protest loudly, but were stopped by the guards, while some asked questions to the Elf King.
The Elf King ignored this group of ignorant people. He didn't look sideways and moved cautiously along the street.
He had a premonition that he would meet a specific person or something.
"Dear Elf King, will we be eaten by orcs?" a little girl asked crisply.
This is an extremely cute little girl, with long golden hair, a delicate face, and a pair of big eyes. The high elves are famous for their outstanding appearance, but looks as stunning as the little girl's are still very rare.
The Elf King fondly touched the little girl’s head:
"Orcs are a friendly race. They are as loving as us. They will save Azeroth."
Suddenly there was a strong tremor, and the magic shield covering Silver Moon City quickly brightened up, like stars, which was really beautiful.
But in the eyes of the Elf King, it is tantamount to a disaster, which means that the magic shield is trying its best to resist foreign enemies.
The magic shield trembled for a while, flickering on and off, as if there were signs of instability. The sound of trebuchets was heard in the distance, and large rocks collided with the magic shield, like rumbling thunder.
"What happened?" the Elf King asked loudly.
"It's the Scourge Legion that suddenly launched an attack on Silver Moon City." A guard replied.
Soon bad news came again. A mage on the city wall ran over and said in a panic: "Great Elf King, retreat quickly. The magic shield is unstable and is about to burst."
"Kael'thas."
The Elf King's voice was extremely cold.
Silvermoon City's shield was originally weaker than that of the Sunwell, and Medivh added mysterious magic that reduced the shield's strength. The Scourge's trebuchets continued to bombard the weak points for half an hour, shrouding Silver Moon.
The city's protective shield evaporated.
The location where the Scourge invaded was exactly where the orcs were.
Probably because of too much reliance on magic, Silvermoon City's walls were beautiful but not strong enough. Not long after the magic shield was shattered, a large hole was opened by a trebuchet, and the elf mage group on the wall dispersed in a rush.
Alsace and Robbie rushed into the gap almost at the same time.
"Thall, your doom has come." Arthas, holding Frostmourne, shouted.
Robbie covered Arthas, and a pungent stench came to him. Just like in Lordaeron, the orcs had not yet learned basic civilized etiquette.
The two soon saw a large group of orcs gathered under the city wall. There was no firelight, and it looked dark from a distance. They were all wearing neat armor and holding various weapons in their hands.
There was a familiar smell of meat in the air, and it was obvious that the orcs had had a full meal.
"This is wrong. Doesn't it mean that the high elves have controlled the diet of the orcs, leaving them in a starving and weak state? How can the orcs have meat to eat? Is this a trap?"
Robbie's heart tightened, but he found that the orcs opposite him were even more nervous.
The trebuchets continued to roar, large areas of city walls collapsed, and the Necromancers began to chant, pouring magic in the direction of the orc camp. Colorful magic lights flashed, harvesting the lives of the orcs mercilessly.
Arthas and Robbie led the way, and ghouls poured in overwhelmingly, engaging in hand-to-hand combat with the orcs.
The morale of the orcs was surprisingly low, and it didn't take long for the battle line to collapse. The orcs fled in all directions, trampling on each other, causing countless casualties, leaving only a one-sided massacre.
The formation of the Undead Scourge advanced in an orderly manner, and the Death Knights began to outflank them on both sides, ensuring that not a single orc could escape.
The orcs are finished.
The bad feeling in Robbie's heart was getting stronger and stronger. He looked at Arthas, who was waving Frostmourne not far ahead.
Are orcs the only ones being slaughtered tonight? (To be continued)
